"I can't. I already made plans with Camila."

I nodded.

"Bye, Shawn." I said as he got up from the couch and walked out of my house.
I sighed, realizing that he probably wants to break up eventually.
I grabbed my phone from the counter and scrolled through Instagram.
I kept getting tagged in a photo and fans kept sending me it.
When I looked at the picture, I bit my lip, knowing what was happening.
"Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are dating?!" the caption read. It was a picture of them holding hands. It clearly wasn't photoshopped, as Camila liked the post.

I didn't know whether to cry or be upset, as it could all be fake, but still I couldn't help but to be upset.
I didn't want to call Shawn. I didn't want to talk to him.
I threw my phone on the couch and stood up, walking into the kitchen. I needed to get this off my mind, so I decided to make cupcakes.
Once I put the cupcakes into the oven, I heard the front door open.
"Baby!" Shawn called.
I ignored him and scrolled through my phone. He walked into the kitchen and said, "Hey."
I stared at him.
"Are you okay?" he asked, trying to hug me, but I pushed him off.
"What's wrong?"
"Why don't you tell me?"
"Woah, what did I do?"
"You know what, never mind. Why don't you go hang out with Camila."
"You saw?"
"Of course I did."
"Bre-"
"What happened?"
"Listen, Bre, I'm sorry-"
"For?"
"I-um-well things happened-"

He looked at the ground.
"Are you serious?"

"S-Shawn, please tell me you're lying."
He spent made eye contact with me.
"Get out."

"Leave my house."

"Nope, get out."
He kept arguing with me, but eventually left.
I didn't know what hurt me more: him lying to me or breaking my heart.
