Alex
I've known Tommy for a long time and I've watched Leila from a far. My father knew of my feelings for this girl a lot longer than she has known me.
He threatened to hurt her if I tried to leave his life he planned out for me
I'd known who she was since we were 18, I was introduced to her at the twins 24th birthday which I coincidentally showed up for and I've never looked back since.
Only within the last few weeks have I finally put the moves on her and God it felt good.
To hold her in my arms, touch her and finally kiss her. I felt invincible until the last few days leading up to this point.
I know who fucking took her, he sent his men after her, to watch her and make sure she pushed me away
I knew why my father didn't like her, not because she is innocent, far from it. Her father use to be a hitman, a very good hitman too. A hitman my father has tried numerous times to get killed but people fear her father more than mine
So now, he's trying to kill 2 birds with one stone. My future and his revenge.

Walking into Tommys parents house after he does, he's yelling for his parents but I walk straight up to his dad who looked at us confused.
Tommy has a confused look on his face now as well while he watches me stand before his dad
"I've been in love with your daughter for a long time, it's all my fault that she has been taken and I need your help in getting her back, you know who my father is and what he's been trying to do to you, I need to take him down so I can live my life and have a life with Leila but I'll need your help"
A look of anger passes over his face and body before a sadistic smile forms
"Son, all you had to say was you love my daughter, she's been taken and you need my help"
"Dad? What's going on?" Tommy is looking between the two of us. He knows about my family and I've never brought him into it until now. Now, he'll know about his true family history
"You my boy, come from a long line of hitmen" Tommy starts laughing but stops suddenly when both set of parents stare at him as well as myself "I've taught you and your sisters how to fight, how to shoot and throw knives for protection... and how to kill but I made your mother put all the hard trainings I made you go through to sleep in the deepest parts of your minds" I watch him turn to Sarah his wife smiling "Wake him up baby girl, we're going to need him"
Leila
I open my eyes slowly, I close them again feeling the throbbing in the back of my head. Memories drift back into my head and I groan
"Fucksakes" I groan knowing I've been held hostage once again. I'm in love with Alex but is this worth it? I try to hold back the tears and I feel like I'm being watched
"Welcome little girl"
I'm rubbing the back of head with my eyes closed "Where am I?" I ask
"My home, I'm not going to hide you so my son can go on a hunt for you" My eyes widen as I look at this man before me.
An older version of Alex stands before me. He does look good for his age but sets them apart is their eyes. I don't like the coldness in this man's eyes as he watches for my reactions
"My son knows where you are and I need to harden my son up more than he already is, I need my son to be cold and ruthless" I watch a smirk form on his eyes "And I need to see your father suffer for all he has done to me"
I close my eyes sitting up and leaning back against the wall I lay near. I am very confused even more confused when he sits there staring at me
"You look more like your mother than you do your father" I narrow my eyes at him "I've known you and your family for a long time, knew your parents before you were born, it doesn't surprise me that you know nothing about them"
Hours later, I was left shocked and in tears, disbelief and confusion. He didn't physically hurt me, he intimidated me with his presence. Is this what he wants for Alex? Is this what Alex is capable of if put in the same situation?
The men who took me walk into the room, 2 drag me up from the bed while the other holds the door.
I've lost all my fight after the things Alex's father told me, about my family, about what my father has done to him. I let them drag me into the main room, where I'm made to sit on a sofa chair.
"For last night you little bitch" I scream out when I feel a fist hit in face
"Alek!" I try to lift my head up but he has hit me that hard, I can barely raise myself
"My son and her father are here, I need you two to guard the door" I rub my head a little to relieve some of the fuzziness "You dear girl will see what my son is"
I can hear gunshots and yells, Alexs father turns my chair to multiple monitors that I see my father and brother as well as Alex killing. I didn't recognise these men, in my heart these are men I love but in my eyes I don't know who I'm looking at
The door bursting open brings a scream to my lips and the other man that was in the room with us hit me in the face and point the gun to my head standing behind my chair
Putting my hand to my face, I look towards the door to see my father and brother near the door with Alex staring straight at me.
One thing I could tell was how angry he is
"Dad, let her go" Alex says
"Ivan, my daughter" I look up at my dad who looked like he is in pain. Taking a glance at my brother, he and Alex look murderous and I am definitely scared of what I was seeing
"Michael, my wife" Ivan says from his chair. My dad looks remorseful and closes his eyes for a moment before opening again
"Pretty girl, I need you to close your eyes for me" Alex says "I can't do this with you watching"
"Son, she knows what and who you really are, she's been watching you kill my men, your men this entire time, what makes you think she will want you after this" A lone tear falls from my eyes at his words because in a sense his words held truth.
I see Alex visibly flinch at Ivans words and glancing at me
"He'll say he is doing it for you when he's doing this for himself" Ivan says across from me
"Leila" Alex starts to say "Baby"
"I'll let her go, if you promise to stay away from her and finally take your place at my side son, you can start by killing the person who killed your mother" Ivan says
"No" Alex doesn't hesitate, he shoots the man behind me and shoots his father in the head
Alex steps towards me placing a hand on my cheek, I look at him and smile but the smile doesn't reach my eyes
"Come on let's get you out of here" he helps me up and I let him take me into his arms. I don't know how to feel at this moment, I just want to go home
Alex
"Alex honey, go shower and get something to eat, we'll just wait for Leila to finish up with her father"
Watching her turn me away, I knew my dad's word sunk in, I also knew watching me kill my own to save hers would make it harder for me
"Thank you Maleina, I'm just going to head out" I sigh "I need to make sure the phone call I made was carried out"
"Don't leave without seeing her please son, she cares about you and she's just in shock, your father never hid anything from you but we did from our children" I nod my head turning towards the kitchen and stop in the doorway when I see her standing there holding a glass of water in her hands
"Leila" I watch her turn towards me
"Alex" She replies. I watch her put the glass of water down and turn to face me "You were going to leave?"
"Yes, I think it's better that way for you"
"My mum explained her side to me, she woke me up, my dad explained everything else, I'm just in shock now" I grab a bottle of water out of the fridge and take a drink
I feel her stand beside me "I'm sorry Alex, I was scared and you were willing to risk everything for me"
"You mean everything and are worth everything to me" I tell her
"I'm glad you feel that way" she says
"But do you?" I ask her
"I... I don't know" Her reply hit me right to the core.
"Then I need to go" I don't look at her and walk out of the kitchen "I've loved you for a while and I'll do anything for you, for a future with you even killing the life I grew up knowing to be with you without looking over my shoulder"
Leila
My parents cleared a lot up in my mind. One of those was I love Alex but I'm trying to come to terms with the things that have happened
"Alex?" I say making him stop "I just don't know how to deal with all of this" I take a deep breath in and exhale out "I want you to help me"
He turns around and places his hand on either side of my face "I will do everything I can" I put my hands on his hips and pull him close. His forehead touching mine
"Don't leave me please" I whisper "Don't let me let you leave ever" I lean up and press my lips against his.
"I'm going to take you home and show you I won't ever let you let me leave ever again"
"I want you both to get cleaned up and have some dinner with us before you leave" We turn our heads to see both my parents standing in the doorway smiling at us "I'm sure your mum would like to come around too Alex" I look up at him smiling as he leans down to kiss me on the head
"I'll give her a call"
