Nate's Pov
As soon as N whispered something to Rosa's face after she picked the berries she's been searching for for so long, she dashed off like a wild Pokémon.
"Where is she going?!" I asked. Rosa's family smiled at each other.
"Didn't you hear her?" Hilda stuck her tongue out "She's been wanting to help people" Hilbert came out of nowhere, bringing Cheren and Bianca with him, and he placed his arm on my head.
"Well, what are you waiting for?" He waved his fingers "hand over the gown. It'll keep you from running any faster" I quickly removed the robe to throw at him and dashed off to see where Rosa ran off to.
"Where are you going?!" Mom yelled after talking to Rosa's mom. I just waved to her and remembered the direction she ran towards. She must be going to her house!
Halfway getting there, two girls with pink and blonde hair appeared out of thin air in front of me. I quickly stopped so I wouldn't run into them.
"Sorry, in a bit of a hurry" I told them.
"She's going to the hospital after she's done at home" the familiar voice from before smiled at me. I blinked confused.
"It'll probably be best to head there instead" the blonde one said. My phone went off. I turned away and answered.
"Dude, where did you go?" Brendan asked. I looked back at the girls smiling at me. Knowing who they were and their relations to N, I sighed and nodded.
"Rosa is heading to the hospital right now" I said.
"We'll be there!" He hung up. I put away my phone and looked back at the girls beginning to walk away.
"Wait" I called, making them stop "what do you know about Rosa? You guys seem suspicious"
"She is N's soon to be sister in law. Him and his fiancé no longer need to be taken care of, so we've been watching over Rosa this entire time and became the ones who helped her find the answers she's been searching for for years" The blonde said.
"We couldn't just give her the answers. She went out of her way to search for them. She has her answers, and now she's happy" the pink haired girl held her hands together "It would had been best if you didn't tell her your true feelings the day I told you not to, for the sake of keeping her from over thinking. She was already going through enough"
"But how does that moment differs to now if I already told her how I felt earlier?"
"She found out the potion she was coming up with actually works. She's not as stressed" I blinked confused "Anymore questions? There's not much we can say right now. We've been watching over Rosa for a long time. We don't have to worry about her anymore. We know you'll be the one to take it from here" they smiled before disappearing. I sighed and looked at my Xtransceiver for the time.
"I guess I should go to the hospital then" I looked back at where those girls were before and I headed off to the hospital where my friends were waiting without their gowns.
"Hey!" May hurried over to me all worried "Where's Rosa?" I didn't know what to say, since I took the word from those girls without any proof that she'll actually be here.
Everyone else looked behind me, so I turned and saw Rosa jogging over with two bottles in her arms "There you are!" I said. So I was right to trust those girls.
"Huh? Why is everyone here?" She asked, looking at everyone.
"Nate told us you'll be here" Lucas said. Rosa looked at me. I rubbed the back of my head.
"Yeah... Two girls in white clothing with psychic type Pokémon told me you were coming here" I admit. She slowly nodded and smiled.
"Oh, okay. Those were the goddesses of Team Plasma" she hurried pass us "I trust them" she looked back at us "I trust you guys to help. Will you follow me?" We all looked at each other and nodded before following her to the elevators.
"Where are we going?" Serena asked.
"Are we going to help your Pokémon?" May asked Rosa. Rosa nodded and looked at the bottles in her hands.
"Yes... I'm planning on awakening my Pokémon from her deep sleep for the pass few years"
"Why is there two?" Dawn asked. Rosa looked down and frowned, speaking about Kris and her condition. I looked back at the elevator doors to follow the floors we were passing.
"Ethan has a girlfriend?" Barry raised his brow "Who in the right mind-"
"I know what you're going to say" Rosa frowned "Ethan wasn't always mean. He's like that because of what happened to her. She's also in a coma..." I sighed.
"It's true" I said. Serena leaned on the wall and crossed her arms "I knew him when she was still around. He never told me why his girlfriend got into a coma, but I know that was the cause. If we're going to be honest... I threatened to hurt Kris in order to keep Ethan in line" I closed my eyes.
"What?!" Dawn gasped "You would dare to hit a girl in her sleep-!?"
"It was never anything serious. I never hurt her. A slight tap was enough to set him off. It was the only way to convince him to stop hitting girls, and it worked until for some reason he started hurting Rosa"
"He thinks I caused her harm" She frowned "But I never did. Believe it or not... I've spoken with her! I want to help her... I want to help as many people as I can!" I frowned and pet her head.
"I believe you are able to help. Don't stress anymore than you've been doing this entire time. We're here if you need us" She blushed and smiled, handing me a bottle.
"I trust you to help" she smiled at everyone "I can't wait to see my Pokémon and Kris" the doors opened. Hugh was the first to walk out.
"What if Ethan is with Kris?" He asked. Rosa looked worried.
"He probably won't even let me help her..." Barry and Lucas took her shoulder.
"He'll pull him back if it comes to that!" I looked at Brendan and Hugh and nodded, confirming that we'll help.
"A person may be too difficult, so I'm going to help my Pokémon first" Rosa took the lead and took us to a door with two guards guarding it.
"Why are there guards?" Dawn questioned.
"It's to keep others from finding out who's in here and won't try to take her away" Rosa spoke with the guards. They nodded and left in her request. She gulped and hugged her bottle tightly. I patted her shoulder, smiling.
"You got this" she smiled and was the first one to enter while we stayed back when hearing footsteps running towards us.
"Stop it right there!"
Rosa's Pov
I am inches away from helping my Pokémon awaken after all these years... I have all my friends with me, encouraging me that I'll do my best and they believe in me. I had wish I had opened my eyes sooner... I would had been able to have these friends on my side and make me happy, but I refused to be happy all because I didn't deserve it. Turns out... Nate didn't think of me the same way I thought he did. He felt guilty... I was too blind to realize even after seeing his true feelings in his eyes. Actions spoke louder than words to me that time.
I never expected N to show up with the gift of a lifetime! He presented me with the Lum Berry plant the goddesses told him about. I couldn't think of anything more great... and they knew why. Hilda was still holding my second gift. N told me to take the berries and head to where I needed to go. Home, and make the cure for my friends.
My friends unexpectedly were waiting for me at the hospital, and it turns out that the goddesses seemed like they planned all this. I was so grateful and blessed that I couldn't help myself from singing in my head the entire time we were in the elevator when no one was speaking for a brief moment.
Hugh had given a good point to remember that Ethan might be in the room with Kris. If he's in there, he'll never let me handle her or even listen to me. A crowd of people coming into a room while he's in defensive mode like a Pokémon would keep him from understanding.
We finally arrived to Victini's room... I told the guards to leave on my request, telling them that their jobs are finish and I thanked them for their hard work. They just nodded and left. I knew I was doing a risky move in making them leave when I don't know if the potion will work, but it has to! It effected Zoroark... and even if he wasn't asleep for years, I believe in the potion to work!
I was the first to walk in, shakily holding my bottle of potion. My heart was racing and I couldn't even hear anything from behind me since my heart was beating against my ears. Victini was right there...
I gulped and moved the machines enough to give me a walkway. I feel like a nurse may be coming any moment to check on her and probably yell at me for moving equipment, but I didn't care... I needed this.
Instead of noticing my friends were handling something or someone outside since they seem to be talking and guarding the door, I walked up to Victini's bed and pet her head.
"Hey there, sweetie. I'm back..." I placed the potion on the bed "I got what will help us be together again. I'll give you the journey you deserve. I promise" I took out some tools from my bag and started preparing the potion "Please use the bit of your ability to help me. You're going to have to smell this horrible odor. I'm sorry" I took the advice the goddess gave me and decided to put the potion around her nose with a q tip first.
As she smells the potion, I placed some of it on her tongue and around her cheeks to help her recover from her weak body. The potion itself has amazing healing properties, so it should do the trick.
I finished using the bottle and kneeled down on the side of the bed to put my hands together to pray. Please... Please let this work...
"Rosa!" I flinched and looked at Nate looking at me from the door, in panic "Help us! She won't listen!" She?
I went over to the hall and saw Zoey in her true form, glaring at my friends with their Pokémon in front of them "She won't listen when we're trying to explain that we're friends" Nate explained. Zoey knows I didn't have friends, so I can understand why she doesn't believe them. I had also asked her to protect Victini if she was going to spend her time in the hospital with her dad at the time.
"Leave!" Zoey hissed. I gasped at her vocals. She can say full words now?! "I won't let you enter that room!" I walked pass my friends and opened my arms.
"Rosa, what are you doing?! That's dangerous!" Brendan gasped. I shook my head and stared at Zoey frowning at me before turning to her human self.
"It's okay, Zoey. They're my friends" I said.
"They are..?" I nodded. May had jogged into Victini's room after hearing coughing. My heart dropped and I quickly ran in to see Victini wiggling her arms and spitting out what I put in her mouth. I quickly sobbed and patted her stomach.
"I know it's disgusting and bitter. Please eat it!" Victini whined "You got this! I'll give you cake after this! Your favorite!" She stopped and slowly opened her eyes, which was too sensitive to see the light. I yelled at someone to turn off the lights. When they did, she opened her eyes more and smiled at me.
"Victini..." I sobbed, cupping my mouth to hide my ugly cry "You're awake..."
"I'll call a nurse right away!" May ran out. I chuckled and hugged Victini's head.
"How are you feeling?"
"V..." she responded weakly. The nurse quickly came, the one that's second in command to take care of Victini if it isn't my mom. I never knew her name since she never wears her name tag.
"Oh my!" The nurse gasped and took out her stethoscope "it's a miracle!" She smiled at me "Looks like your message went through" I looked at her confused "I had wondered why Bianca always ask me for dream mist. You used it to your advantage" I flinched.
"You're Professor Fennel?" She nodded and stepped away to face me.
"I am! Sorry I've been too busy to meet with you. Cheren and Bianca has told me you needed my assistance, but all I could provide is the mist" she patted my back "You did good!" She looked back at Victini "Don't worry. She's under my care. I'll bring her back to her former state" I looked at Victini smiling, skinny as can be. I sniffled and bowed.
"Thank you so much!" I turned around to look at my friends smiling at me "I-It's too soon for a full celebration! Let's go see Kris!"
"Hm?" Professor Fennel looked back at me "Are you planning on waking that patient with your magic powers?" I blushed "I look forward to it. If you succeed, I must know your secret" I smiled shyly.
"Maybe" it's too complicated to explain with a flower nobody knows about. I bowed again and left to the other hallway to arrive at Kris's room. I sneakily looked through the window, seeing Ethan sitting by her bed.
"He's in there..." I whispered. Hugh leaned with me to see.
"Alright. Let's make like an army and charge" I waved my hands.
"D-Don't cause a scene!"
"Don't freak him out too much!" Dawn jumped.
"There are parients here in the sleeping disorder floor! Be respectful!" May glared.
"Well, that thing wasn't" Hugh pointed at Zoey standing next to me. She pouted.
"I was only trying to help!" She loud whispered "I was being protective towards my trainer!" I blinked confused. She looked at me and blushed "I mean... If you let me be part of your team"
"Why didn't you stay with your dad?" I asked.
"He has my siblings. I want to be by your side since you've done so much. I want to stay with you. Please" I smiled and pet her head.
"Just don't tell Victini I replaced her before she woke up"
"Victini won't think that" Nate knocked on my head. I nodded slowly and looked at the boys standing in front of the door.
"Don't do anything crazy" Dawn warned.
"We'll try" Calem said.
"This will be funny" Serena smirked. In the count of 3, Hugh was the first to enter the room, alarming Ethan as he stood up. I gulped, squeezing the bottle Nate gave back.
"What are you guys doing here?" Ethan tried his best to remain calm.
"Why didn't you show up at graduation to see us?" Brendon asked, trying to stale. Ethan sighed and crossed his arms.
"What? Did it end?" He chuckled "sorry, dear friends. I missed it. Looks like everyone will be leaving soon to their home regions then"
"Not yet" Calem said "There's still the outdoor exam and everything.
"Oh yeah" Ethan shrugged "I'll definitely show up for that. I can't wait to see who loses to who" he smirked. Nate smiled.
"Well, that's not really what we're worried about right now" Ethan's eyes went a bit dark as he guarded Kris.
"I won't let you hurt her"
"What makes you think we want to touch your girl?" Hugh snorted.
"So that's your girlfriend? She's pretty" Lucas complimented. Ethan turned a bit rosy on the cheeks "She's lucky to have someone protecting her" Ethan relaxed a bit.
"Yeah..." the girls lightly patted my back, telling me to continue forward. I was shaking hard, not because of Ethan, but of what could happen if I get close to Kris that will keep the boys from holding him tight enough.
I took a deep breath and stepped forward, signaling the boys to walk forward. Ethan tensed up again. As soon as he saw me, his eyes went ice cold and he snapped before jumping at me. The boys quickly held him back and tackled him to the floor.
"What are you doing?! Get off me!" He shouted. I nearly dropped my bottle at how scary he looked. The boys had to sit on him to keep him from swinging everywhere while I made my way to the other side of bed that was away from the crowd "Don't touch her! I swear to Arceus if you touch her, I'll-" Serena took a apple out of nowhere and shoved it into his mouth, keeping him from screaming or removing it.
"Goodness, He's loud" she slapped her hands clean.
"Where on earth did you get that apple?" Dawn sweat dropped. Serena giggled.
"This is a hospital. They always have food for their patients" she crossed her arms and looked at Ethan still trying to escape "Sweetie, I hope you're like that if someone tries touching me" she winked at Calem.
"This is not the time!" Calem groaned. I looked at Ethan keeping his eyes on me, ready for the kill. I shakily did what I had to do, but was too shaky to do it. The girls huddled up to help me.
"Calm down, Ethan!" Lucas told him "We're trying to help!"
"Forget it" Nate said "He won't listen to anyone like this"
"He just has to see what's going to happen" Brendan said "What do you think when the potion works? Will he be the same Ethan?" I looked at Nate looking down, putting his whole weight on his arm, then he looked at me.
"Well, for one thing. When he sees what Rosa has done for him, she will keep her promise" I became surprised "She'll make him regret messing with her"
