Grachela's P.O.V
"Gawd! It is sooo hoooot.."
Claudia kneeled in the hot sand and her body is limp.
She rolls in the hot sand and didnt feel comfort.
Her tears are dry and she is parched.
Grachela try swallowing but it is so dry she almost choke.
It is really hot and she is very thirsty.
But how can Claudia whine?
She is so energetic she wants to ask where is she getting her strenght.
What happened before that?
They are travelling in the land. 2 days and the two girls are bored to death.
Claudia, this fool, lured Grachela to play outside while Brice is not paying attention.
The end result is they get kidnapped.
But Grachela and Claudia, this courageous duo, run away from the kidnappers.
Now they are in the desert and no one knew the way.
"What are you doing?" Grachela is too lazy to move.
When sun went down, the desert is as cold as winter.
They can bear it together.
Claudia this energetic brat is burying herself in the sand.
"Kill me!" She said crying.
Grachela saw a huge flat stone lying near.
Claudia also saw her gaze and stands up.
"You want to kill me?" Her fist is form and showing to Grachela.
"Your wish is my command." She dryly smile.
Claudia feel down and grumble again.
"Shut up. You are making me feel hungry." Grachela said sighing.
"Your husband, when will he come?" Claudia ask pitifully but Grachela's back straighten.
"What is your relationship with Julian!?"
"Hey! Conserve energy. Why are you suddenly mad? What relationship? Can I eat it?"
Grachela's eyes squint and her lips pursed.
Her lips are dry.
She felt pitiful inside.
"I should never listen to you." Grachela sigh again.
"It is my fault?" Claudia eyes puff.
"Isnt it?"
"Uwaahh.. Prince Solice! Where are you? Taurus... Angelo! Steven... Yuri!"
Claudia howl and sob.
Grachela looks at her angrily.
"Have some shame." She murmur.
"I have 5 guys yet no one is here to help me. Am I the heroine or the side character?! Pleaseeeee one glass of water and Ill even fuck a horse!!"
"You know, what I learn from my past life is, be careful on what you wish for cause you might just get it."
"That is a lyrics from a song." Claudia stare at her with a frown.
"Well, youll never know. What if a horse really came and ask to fuck you in exchange for a drink?" Grachela smile widely.
Claudia shudder.
"I take it back! I dont want to drink! I am not even thirsty!!!"
"Can you not shout? My throat feels so dry because of you." Grachela sigh.
"You always find a way to blame me." Claudia sigh.
"Urgh!"
Brice whimpers.
His body is stains with blood and slashes.
Only the chain is holding him up.
There is no strenght in his body.
Julian stares at his bloody body.
"You know that I never want to hurt you." Julian clench his fist.
"I-I am sorry....I...I will find Du-duchess..."
Julian wave his hand and two huge man removes the weak Brice in the chain and carefully carry him.
"Call Doctor Tuazon." There is anxiety in Julian's eyes.
"I can...still...walk.." Brice close his eyes.
Tears run down his cheek.
"I'm sorry.." Brice lips trembles.
"The kidnappers already contact us. It is fine. Just recuperate and....do not let me hurt you again."
"I deserve this master. I deserve this."
Julian wave his hand again.
The 2 macho man bring Brice away.
A hidden guard approach Julian.
"Brice is my friend. But a mistake is a mistake. I will not tolerate anyone."
The hidden guard nods.
"My woman must be very scared right now. If someone touches her, Ill kill all of you."
The hidden guard nods.
"If she is fine.. If she has eaten. I think of this every second, do you know?"
"Yes, master."
"I am going crazy. So crazy." Julian takes the hidden guard knife. He looks at the sharp end.
"Do not feel any mercy. Kill everyone in that area. Innocent or not. Kill them, burn them."
"Yes, master."
Julian look at the wide desert.
He cried afterward.
"Grachela.."
Uggh, ughh.
Claudia almost drown herself while drinking the water in the oasis.
"This is not illusion right? I am really drinking real water right." Claudia look at Grachela.
Grachela braves it and take off her clothes.
"Oh! Sorry I dont sway that way!" Claudia block her face with her hand.
Grachela didnt care and dive at the water.
Claudia looks at her with wide eyes.
Then she also takes off her clothes and swim in the water.
Who cares if this is in the open?
Her body is already dirty and she feels uncomfortable.
"Gracy, I am still hungry."
"We can hunt lizard. And barbecue it in this heat."
"Lizard?" Claudia swallowed.
She doesnt want to imagine it but what can she do?
"What else? Whatever looks edible. We eat it. Then we draw a map and hopefully we can find some travelers and leave here."
"Gracey! You are so smart."
"What smart? That is only natural! Your head is full of gibberish."
"But this is a shoujo novel!!! The main lead should rescue the damsel in distress! I am that damsel in distress! So why! Why should I eat lizard!?"
Grachela sigh.
She also wants to complain.
"Julian..." she sigh.
Claudia heard her and shut her mouth.
Compare to her, Grachela really likes Julian.
"Do you think Brice is still alive? Arent your husband a crazy mad man?"
"Brice should be punish but he wont kill him. If he kills Brice I will let you accompany him." She glares at Claudia.
Claudia begs her but Grachela only pouts.
10 days.
15 days.
"Actually, desert lizard is quite an exotic food." Claudia said eating with gusto.
Grachela almost throw up the food she is eating.
Claudia is really good at adapting.
They dont look as filthy since they know where they can find water.
They havent met any people yet and they are feeling very dejected.
Grachela already use to hugging Claudia at night and she is not happy about it.
"There is some horses!" Claudia wakes Grachela.
Grachela looks at her.
"What?"
"But I am afraid to approach them. They look like they are fleeing."
"Fleeing? What is happening? Let's check it out."
Grachela and Claudia looks at the group of people who is hurt and bruises.
They look very horrified.
"Sir, excuse us. We are lost in the desert."
"Murderer! He is a murderer!" The man grabs Grachela's arm.
His eyes is bloodshot scaring the two girls.
"Dont touch her!" Claudia shouted removing the man's hand away from Grachela.
"Murderer! Murderer!" But the man's strong hand doesnt move or shaken.
An old man chop the man's head and he lost consciousness.
Claudia pull Grachela and hugs her.
"This plot is wrong. This plot is very wrong." She murmurs, shaken and scared.
Grachela is rubbing the hurt arm.
"Ladies, we fleed away from Puriin Region because of the demon. You should go with us in the south." The old man said.
"No! I need to go to Puriin." Grachela shouted.
"There is nothing left in the Puriin. It is turn into ashes and charcoal." A young man sigh as he looks so distant.
"What happened?" Claudia ask hurriedly.
"A man who resembles demon came and exterminate a group of evil bandits. We thought we can finally say goodbye in fear but he turns to us. He keeps murmuring a name like a mad man. Gra-Grachela? Yes. Grachela. He starts killing indiscriminately. Burn our houses. Kill anyone who fights him."
Grachela eyes widen.
Claudia grips Grachela's hand.
"Mimi, let us go with them in tbe south." Claudia said with a scared expression.
Grachela wants to laugh but there is nothing to laugh at.
"We have to go to the Puriin Claudia. And you know that!" She grit her teeth and sigh.
