i can't think,
the sun and the stars and the sky
are all intoxicated
with a twinkle in their bottles
and a lopsided smile
on their dazzling lips.
the white circle in the sky softens up
as she rubs her hooded eyes,
but the sun beams on,
partying recklessly
with hands in the air
and little pieces
of crushed amber bottles
littering the floor like
speckles of white diamonds.
the stars bedazzle
like the sequence on a silver dress,
shining even in the depths
of the dim lights.
i can't think
with my head up in the planets,
hazy and drunk,
caught up
in cloud nine.
