When I walked home from a long day of work, I heard Shawn laughing upstairs and smiled.
I walked into our room and saw him looking at something on his laptop.
"Hey, Shawn." I smiled, hugging him.
"Hey babe." he said, quickly shutting his laptop.
I frowned.
"What were you looking at?"
"Oh uh nothing." he smiled at me.
"Shawn-"
"Do you think my eyes sparkle?" he smiled, looking up at the ceiling.
"What?"
"Do you think my smile lights up the world?"
"Sha-"
"Am I as great as you imagined?"
"Shawn Mendes, what are you saying?"
"Baby, I think it's cute that you use to write about me." he smirked.
Realization hit me as I pieced everything together.
"Y-you're joking." I said.
"I found your stories." he sang.
I covered my face, embarrassed.
"Aw, don't worry, y/n, I've read worse." he shivered.
I laughed at him.
"Do you want to continue reading with me? I'm hooked."
"Shawn, you kidding, right?"
"Nope. I didn't know my muffin was a little author." he said hugging me.
"I'm not. My stories were so bad."
"They're not bad. I mean, you could probably write a different story and not label it as fan fiction."
"You're so nice. I love you, Shawn."
"I love you too. Now can we please continue reading? I wanna find out if Shawn ends up with her."
