Holly
I had to start training with Loki to work on my magic for hours every day! It's soooo boring! We don't even actually do magic! All I do is study! I barely even have time to read what I wanna read. And since I can't control my magic yet nobody leaves me alone! When Loki had to go on a mission it wasn't even ten minutes before someone came to the library to check on me.
"Hey Holly.... you skipped breakfast, aren't you hungry?" I used the book I was reading to hide my face and shake my head no. "... Nǐ hái hǎo ma?"(Are you okay?) I smirked a bit at his terrible pronunciation.
"Nǐ dǒng zhōngwén ma?"(You speak Chinese?) he looked at me with a confused smile and I giggled.
"I only learned that one sentence, sorry" he apologized and I gave him a shy smile even though I was still hiding behind the book.
"...thank you Bruce" he smiled at me.
"Why don't we go get some lunch?" I put a bookmark in my book and skipped alongside Bruce.
For the rest of the day I hung out with Bruce in the lab doing simple experiments and cleaning up after they exploded. My favorite was the elephant toothpaste! I got to skip class and training, it was awesome! Eventually Tony and Loki came into the lab after their mission.
Loki
"I see you two have been having fun" Tony and I looked them up and down. Holly was wearing a much too large lab coat and large protective goggles. Bruce was wearing the same things but they obviously didn't look large on him and they were both covered in soda and foam and a few other things I couldn't actually identify.
"We made stuff explode!" Holly was practically jumping off the walls as she ran around the lab equipment to get over to me. I've never seen her her act so... energetic? It's not bad but it is certainly unusual and unexpected. Bruce chuckled and went to take a sip from his mug before turning it upside down.
"Did you drink my coffee?" He questioned Holly who just nodded vigorously.
"Good luck with that reindeer games" Tony quipped and went into the lab to do whatever it is he does. It was time for Holly to go to bed but she literally bounced next to me as we walked down the hall. I put her to bed and she bounce her legs under the blanket. I smiled at her before going to the door only for her to stop me.
"Can you tell me a story?" I stopped myself from questioning her about her request. It's fine with me if she acts a bit childish sometimes. I walked back to sit beside her on the bed and used magic to change into midgardian clothing. I grabbed the book I had been reading to her lately from her bedside table and leaned back on the headboard. Holly curled into my side and threw her covers over me making me let out a snicker. I guess I'm sleeping here tonight.
