🏴️️Ch. 4: How (First Name) Met Luffy! Red Hair Shanks: A Family Friend!🏴️️

A/N: Images in collages do not belong to me. All rights go to their rightful artists. I just put them together to make picturing the story easier for you all.

"So hungry . . ." Luffy groans out. It's only been a day at sea and he manages to get into my bag and scarf down almost all of the rations that I had bought in Shells Town, after I stupidly allowed him permission to go into it because I was resting. Almost everything is gone but the raw seafood and meats, plus a few fruits and vegetables I managed to save from Luffy's appetite that I place in my boat's kitchenette-console/storage bench. When first coming to the knowledge of Luffy's voracious appetite after we first met, I decided to design a custom-built mini-kitchen console containing a mini fridge, a grill, sink and a livewell from when I fish.

I had just finished wailing on him for a good half an hour, even though I knew it would do any good because of his Devil Fruit. But that didn't mean it didn't make me feel better considering he was now sporting a few good-sized lumps on the head, courtesy of some well-placed hits and some Armament Haki. But the fact that there was hardly any non-perishable food left, aside from water, to feed the three people and six animals on these two boats was starting to take its toll, more so for the people than the animals.

For me, being the fish-human that I am, I was able to eat raw seafood that I could catch in the ocean and marine plants like seaweed and kelp. Even my animal friends could turn the ocean into a smorgasbord. Trigger, still being an otter, absolutely loves sea urchins and any other shellfish he can get his hands on. Calder and Umi, I don't even need to tell you how they have no trouble getting food for themselves. Carmela and Ahio can eat the edible plants and fruits Carmela manages to grow in her hanging pot planters and her single large fabric plant pot she has on my boat.

"When the hell are we gonna reach land anyway?" Complains Zoro.

"Who knows. Just sailing on the wind and the waves. Going where they take us." Luffy replies back. "We might never even reach the land. Eh, I guess we will someday."

"Don't say things like that, Lu." I try perking him up with my old nickname for him. "You're going to scare us with that kind of thinking."

"Don't you find it dumb that someone trying to be King of the Pirates doesn't have a single navigational skill?!" Zoro yells.

"And this is, again, why I say we need to find a navigator."

Luffy lifts his head from over the side of the boat and looks at me. "But (First Name), don't you know how to navigate?"

"Yeah, I do. But for me, it's different from the normal way of navigating." I respond.

"How so?" Zoro asks.

I lean against the back of the boat, looking up at the sky. "It's almost like the ocean tells me when an island is near, it can tell me the safest route or the quickest, it can even let me know if and when there is danger. To me, it's as though the ocean is a living being, that only I'm able to communicate with and bend to help me in many situations. But even with my skill, I'd much rather have a permanent navigator to have on the crew in case I'm not around and so I can focus on my studies of ocean life and still create clothes for you guys to keep on your backs. I serve as the Marine Biologist and Seamstress of this crew, so the slot for navigator should belong to someone else."

"Good point." Zoro points out.

"What about you? Aren't you some famous bounty hunter who sailed the seas?" Luffy joins in, looking to the crew's swordsman.

"I don't have any recollection of ever calling myself a bounty hunter." Zoro leans his head back and looks to the sky like I was just doing. "I set out on the open sea in search of just one man and then I couldn't get back to my village. By that point, I had no choice but to go after pirate ships to earn a living."

"Oh, I see. So, you're just lost." Luffy deadpans.

I giggle and lean over to poke Zoro's cheek. "So not only have you stayed the same physical-wise, but your horrible sense of direction is still there as well."

"Hey! Don't put it like that!" Zoro snaps, stomping their boat. Zoro's fit nearly tips the both of them over, but they manage to regain balance and not fall into the water. Luffy's prized straw hat was lifted into the air and starts to drift away from him. Everything seems to go into slow motion in those few seconds. My body swiftly moves to the front of my boat and catch his hat, but my mind was doing a walk down memory lane.

"Don't worry, Lu. I've always got your back." I say unconsciously, repeating the promise I made to my friend and the boy I now call my Captain.

💭Flashback 10 Years Ago💭

It was way back when I first started sailing the Blue Sea nearly 10 years ago. I had started my journey as a pirate back when I was 5 years old, crazy as it was. But I had my reasons. From my island, I wasn't able to get to the East Blue until 3 years later, going backwards. So, if you do the math, I was 8 years old at the time and I was already wanted by the Marines and the World Government for stealing from pompous Nobles, freeing slaves and decimating the ships carrying them afterwards. I kept about a third of what I stole and gave the rest to destitute islands and freed slaves to help them regain their lives. The Marines would have thrown an even bigger fit if they knew that the one causing them all this trouble was an eight-year-old girl. But they didn't know a person was causing all that destruction, let alone a young girl.

Even though I absolutely loathed slavers, I didn't kill any one of them. I was a pirate, not a murderer. Despite what the world tends to think, there is a difference in some cases. I just let the ocean do the work for me in that department.

To those that I helped and were willing to keep my identity a secret called me 'Eurybia's Emancipator'. I thought it quite fitting as she was a lesser known goddess of the mastery of the seas. I had become a well-known ally to the Revolutionaries because of this, and I was more than willing to help them and their goal of correcting all the injustice and cruelty of the World Governments and their corrupted Marines.

I was sailing in the East Blue, at the time. I wasn't much different physical-wise, except with a less developed bust, but was still slightly larger than other girls my age and at least a head taller in height. I could pass off as a 13-year-old with my looks back then, easy. Trigger had been a part of the family less than a few months after I rescued him from a World Government ship that was transporting "experimental weapons". Carmela, Ahio, and Tito were the ones that had been with me since the start of my journey, I met Calder as we crossed the Calm Belt to get into the Blue Sea on the other side of Reverse Mountain. I befriended him out of all the other Sea Kings because I saw that he had a strength to him that was being wasted fighting over food and territory in the waters of the Calm Belt. I hadn't met Umi yet as that wouldn't be for a few more years.

My hand hanging on the side of the boat, dunked in the water as I was steering the boat, allowing the ocean to tell me if any danger was ahead or if an island was nearby that I could resupply on. A sudden pull towards an island caught me by surprise. It was like a large magnet was drawing me towards the island for some reason. I focus my concentration and close my eyes, using the ocean itself as a mirror to get a better fix as to what was going on.

I saw a gruff looking man in a small sailboat a ways out in the ocean for some odd reason. It was odd because of how the man looked to be more a bandit-like, than a sailor.

I further increase my focus and see that he was holding a small boy with short, black hair and a scar below one of his eyes, looking as though he was going to through him in the water.

I didn't like the looks of the situation and I certainly wasn't going to stand by and do nothing.

💥What's going on?💥 Trigger asked.

"Looks as if there's a kidnapper on that boat near the island. He's got a boy on board and it seems that the kidnapper is going to cut his losses real soon. I'm going over there to help."

I leap into the water, switch to my hybrid formand started swimming at Mach speed to rescue the kid in time, cloak or nocloak. I had to increase my speed as the man threw the boy into the water. Andjust if things weren't bad enough a Sea King emerges from the water and eatsthe man along with a good portion of the boat and soon has his sights set onthe boy, flailing in the water. 'Can he not swim?' I thought to myself. Never in my life have I feltthe need to get somewhere so quickly.

Just as the Sea King was about to take a bite out of the boy, I leap from the water and kick the Sea King hard in the nose sending it flying back a few yards.

As soon as the beast was knocked away, I grabbed ahold of the boy, holding him close to my chest, keeping him above the water. "Are you alright?" I asked him as I was searching for any injuries.

His reaction wasn't what I was expecting. He had stars in his eyes and a look of pure awe on his face. "You were so cool! The way you knocked back that Sea King like he was nothing!"

After getting over my shock at his less than expected reaction, I smiled at him, happy that he was alright and not traumatized, injured, or anything. Our celebration was short lived when I saw the Sea King break from its stupor and lunge at us. While holding onto the boy I couldn't fight this thing at my best, so I did the next best thing. Show it who's the better fish in the sea. I breathe in deeply and let out the most inhuman roar I could.

The Sea King turned as white as a sheet and was shaking like a leaf. I gave him a glare that said, 'Get lost!' clear as day. And he greatly obliged, swimming back down in the ocean.

I let out a heavy sigh. "Well . . .now that that's over, let's get you back on land. Your friends over there look worried." I motion my head over to the large group of people by the docks of the island. Calder maneuvered my boat, that he was carrying on his back (which he does if I'm not there to sail the ship myself), close to us and I toss the kid aboard and then hoist myself up the small ladder on the side. "Thanks, Calder. I've got it from here." My Sea King friend relinquished his hold on the boat and allowed me to take over.

The boy was too busy taking in the sight of my animal companions, as well as observing my homely boat. I guess he doesn't get that much excitement here. I hold him still enough to wrap a large towel around him, revert myself out of my hybrid form, and start to dry out his sopping wet shorts and white shirt with blue trim and a red anchor taking up the front with 'ANCHOR' written in blue font across it. "You have your own boat? Whoa, you have a pet tiger? Where did you get those fins and tail from? You must be really strong! Are you a pirate?"

His boundless energy made me laugh and I happily answered all his questions as we made our way to shore. "Anyway, why did that man have you way out at sea on that boat?" He then proceeds to explain the events that took place before. The mountain bandits busting into the town's bar as if they owned the place, the one-sided fight that took place earlier with the bandit and his pirate idol, eating his Gum-Gum Devil Fruit that gave him his powers but took away his ability to swim, standing up for his idol's honor, and then getting captured by said bandits.

"Wow. You've had quite the eventful day haven't you . . .um." I trailed off, seeing as I haven't even learned his name.

"Oh. I'm Monkey D. Luffy!" He says with the biggest grin I'd even seen.

The both of us make it safely to the town's docks. Luffy immediately disembarks and runs up to a man with red hair and three diagonal scars across one eye. He was talking excitedly and finally pointed in my direction. All attention was now on me and I really wasn't used to that. My face turned red in embarrassment. I didn't expect Luffy to run back to me, grab my hand and introduce me to his idol he was talking about. He didn't get to the part saying that his idol was one of the most infamous pirates to date, 'Red-Haired Shanks'!

"This is the girl that took down that Sea King and saved me, Shanks!" He says to him in amazement.

"That was quite a feat, young lady! I'm impressed and that's not something I say often." The man praises. "Thank you for saving him. It'd be a shame for someone who hasn't even accomplished his dream to die so soon. You have my deepest gratitude."

Like his epithet, he's got straight, middle-parted, deep-crimsonish hair, loosely down to nape length, with shorter (at eye level), curtained bangs in the front. He's relatively tall, well-built, with a tan-complexion. Another trademark trait of his is a triple set of vertically parallel, linear scars that pass at an angle over his left (untouched) eye. A simple straw hat with a red band around the base of the crown sits atop his head. A simple, white shirt half-buttoned up, exposing the middle of his chest, with a pair of slightly loose, plain-brown pants with golden buttons down the outer leg sides, and a red sash around his waist to keep his shirt tucked inside, topped off with a sweeping long, sleeveless black cape with a high collar with a lighter, gray interior hangs off his shoulders.

"It was nothing. I certainly wasn't going to just stand by and watch as he was going to be eaten. So, no thanks necessary, I wanted to step in and help." I said.

Shanks let out a laugh. "Luffy, you mind if I speak to our new friend in private?"

"Sure." Luffy runs off and meets with a green haired young woman, with warm brown eyes, an orange blouse with black sleeves and a long light blue skirt and orange sneakers with white soles, and a yellow kerchief wrapped around her head, who was practically hugging the life out of him. She looked to be extremely worried for his well-being.

Shanks taps my shoulder and motions me to walk with him towards his ship. "Not many people can say they were able to do what you just did, especially at an age so young. I saw what you did with that Sea King. Who taught you how to use Conqueror's Haki so well?" He asked.

"My parents did." I answer. "You actually know them very well. Especially my aunt."

"I do, huh? You mind refreshing my memory a bit?" He starts to drink a bottle of sake, the same went for with his crew.

"Quartz. Crystal D. Quartz." I say seriously.

Every crew member, captain included, then proceeded to spit out their drinks and went into a coughing fit.

"You *cough* shouldn't joke about things like *cough* that." He coughs out. But I merely smiled at his disbelief.

"Aunty Quartz said you probably wouldn't believe me if I came out and told you at first. That's why she gave me this." I reach into my shirt to reveal my hemp necklace with a shard of my aunt's crystal in it and hold it in front of his face. "Her friends called her Aurora. Do you believe me now?"

"That's a gem shard from Quartz, no doubt about it. But that means if you're Quartz's niece, then you're (Mother's Name) and (Father's Name) daughter!" He says putting all the pieces together.

"That's right." I confirmed.

He lets out a boisterous laugh, picks me up and started swinging me around. His crew was cheering as well. Three of Shanks's closest crewmates come up closer to get a better look at me; His first mate, sharp shooter and cook, in particular.

A man with blond loose waves, a dark-blue shirt, dark-green pants reaching down to his calves, blue shoes with buckles on them and a headband that read 'YASOPP' and yanks me out of Shanks's grip.

"You're right! She's the spitting image of Quartz and (Mother's Name)! It's uncanny!" He shouted. "Why couldn't we recognize it?"

"And with the way she took down that Sea King and sent him runnin', she's got their strength as well." Says a round-shaped man in a green t-shirt with white vertical stripes on it, paired by a matching bandanna on his head, short beige pants, with a dark green sash around his waist, and green shoes with fur around the ankles, eating a rack of meat.

The last crewmate, a really tall man with jet black hair, wearing a black, short-sleeve v-neck shirt, with loose pants dark green with numerous pockets on them, tucked inside his buckled boots, and a dark yellow sash around his waist, carrying a rifle, takes me from Yasopp and places me on the solid deck of the ship. "Hey, easy now! She may not be dainty but show some respect for the little lady by not waving her around like a rag doll."

"Right, very sorry." They bow their heads in apology.

"No, it's not a problem." I replied dizzily, still recovering from Shanks's spinning.

"But what are you doing this far away from home? Does (Mother's Name) know you're here?" Shanks asked.

"Of course, she does! I left home because . . .because . . ." I trail off.

"Because?" Shanks presses gently.

My hand subconsciously goes to my left eye, covered by my long (Hair Color) bangs. "That's more personal than I want to let on. But she's approved of my decision and I'm already on the World Government's radar, so there's no turning back for me now!"

"You're already a pirate? Does that mean you have a bounty already?" The round shaped man, who I later learned was named Lucky Roo along with the black-haired man named Benn Beckman.

"Not quite. But I have made the papers lately." I said pridefully. I reach into my bag and grab my most recent headline.

"Nature's Wrath or Sabotage? 'More merchant vessel falls to the seas.'" Benn reads aloud.

I scoff. "Yeah. 'Merchant' vessels. Chertovy pravitel'stvennyye svin'i. Vsegda zashchishchayu plokhikh parney.[1]"

"So, you're the one who's been freeing slaves and destroyed that Human Shop recently." He said it more as a statement rather than a question.

"Yes, I am. I can't stand to see how the World Government allows that kind of treatment to the people they're supposed to protect and how the Marines just stand by and let it happen. I may not be able to stop the World Government, but at the very least I can give people back the lives they were so wrongly taken from."

"You're a very brave girl and with your current strength, I'd say you'll only continue to get stronger and become a force to be reckoned with in the pirate world. Heck, you could be even stronger than your aunt and mother combined."

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves. I'm nowhere near my mother's power, let alone my aunt's. But maybe if I continue on this journey, perhaps that could be a possibility."

Shanks chuckles and pats my head. "Don't sell yourself so short. You're still young and have got more than enough time to get stronger. So, I wish you the best of luck on your journey."

I smiled. "Thanks so much, Shanks."

The Red Hair Pirates blushed. "SO CUTE!" And once again Shanks picks me up and then proceeds to spin me around.

After conversing with the Red Hair Pirates on the things I've been through on my journey so far, Shanks had said it was time for them to leave this island and continue to move on in their journey. Shanks and I were currently on the town's dock watching his crew load the ship with supplies.

"So, you're leaving?" Luffy asked Shanks.

"Yeah. It was a nice extended vacation, but we have to part ways now. I bet you'll both miss me, right?"

"Yeah, but this time's different! I won't beg you to take me with you. 'Cause I'm gonna become a pirate all on my own!" Luffy replies proudly.

"And I'm sure we'll meet again once I set sail again, so I look forward to seeing you again on the vast seas, Shanks." I said.

"I'm sure we will, (First Name)." Shanks then sticks his tongue out at Luffy. "And I wouldn't take you with me anyway, Luffy. You'll never make it as a pirate." He teases.

"NO! I WILL MAKE IT AS A PIRATE! SOMEDAY I'M GONNA GATHER A CREW EVEN BETTER THAN YOURS AND I'M GONNA FIND THE GREATEST TREASURE IN THE WORLD! AND THEN I'LL BE KING OF THE PIRATES! I'LL SHOW YOU!" Luffy shouts.

It was that promise to those pirates that I chose this young boy to be my captain. Not just the extremeness of the promise itself, but because of the way he said. It was the confidence he held, as if it was the surest thing in the world.

"You think you'll surpass us?" Shanks laughs. "In that case . . ."

Shanks removed his straw hat and placed it on Luffy's head. "I'll leave this hat to you. It means more to me than anything in the world, so you better take good care of it. You hear me?"

Luffy begins to cry out of the blue.

This moment reminded me of the stories my aunt told me about her captain. From the tales she told me her captain acted so much like Luffy, right down to that happy-go-lucky grin he wore practically every day and now that same straw hat. I'm not sure if fate is certainly a thing, but I don't believe in coincidences. That harsh pull that brought me to this island, meeting 'Red Haired' Shanks, bearing witness to the moment this promise was made, and the passing down of a prized straw hat.

"Shanks!" I called out to him.

"Yeah?" He shouted back.

"You say that Luffy will never make it as a pirate? But what if he has an incredible first mate to watch his back?"

Shanks was shocked at my statement. "(First Name), are you about to do what I think you're going to do?"

"Mmhm." I nod. I move to be in front of Luffy and get down on one knee. "Monkey D. Luffy. Will you honor me, (Last Name) D. (First Name), and my companions, Carmela, Ahio, Tito, Trigger, and Calder to become the very first crew members to the future King of the Pirates."

To say everyone was shocked was an understatement. "You really mean it?!" He asks.

"I wouldn't joke about something this serious." I said plainly.

"Alright! I've got my first mate!" The boy cheers.

"The niece to the first mate of the former King of the Pirates is now the first mate to the future King of the Pirates. Somehow this can't be a coincidence." Shanks voices.

"I'm not so sure it is. A strong pull brought me to this island. It not only led me to save Luffy, but I got to meet you here as well. There's just something about him that I'm sure will change the world. Don't know if it will be for the better, but I'm most certain it will be fun." I replied.

"Well, I'm sure that there's nothing I can do to change your mind, so take care of him for me, will you?"

"You don't even need to ask." He leans down and hugs me. "Take care of yourself (First Name). And if you ever get ahold of your mother, tell her we all say 'hi'."

"You got it." I give him a thumb up.

The people of the town waved goodbye as Shanks and his crew sailed away. Meanwhile I was telling Luffy that I couldn't stay on this island too long.

"What?! Why?!"

"I'm currently on my journey as a pirate, but it also doubles as my training. I can't exactly allow myself to be the first mate to the future King of the Pirates if I were to become sloppy. So that's why I want to continue with my journey and become even stronger to help you and the crew."

"Yeah, but I just got you as my first crewmate." I hated to see him sad.

"Don't worry. I'll still come back and visit Foosha Village every so often and I'll write to you even more often than that. But if you're still worried about me not coming back . . ." I remove my aunt's necklace and place it on Luffy's neck. "Like Shanks's straw hat, this is one of my most precious possessions and it will also be my promise to come back. So, take great care of it, alright?"

"Yes. Yes, I will!" He blubbers as he starts to cry again. He hugged me tight around my waist and we said our 'see you soon'. The people of Foosha Village gave me a great stock of supplies as thanks for saving Luffy and wished me luck on my journey.

As I began to set sail again, I saw Luffy following along the coast of the island. "(First Name)! I promise the next time you see me, I'll be strong too! I hope to see you soon!" He shouted with the same confidence as his promise to Shanks.

"Don't worry, Luffy!" I shouted back. "Even if I'm an ocean away from you, I'll always have your back!"

💭End Flashback💭

I shake myself out of my walk down memory lane and look closely at the hat and reach into my shirt and bring out my aunt's necklace, a sign that I didn't go back on my promise to Luffy. I look back up at Luffy and Zoro and smile. I hand Luffy his hat and then it looks to be he's the one going down memory lane, his stare fixated on his most prized possession.

"Luffy! Hey! You're gonna drop that again if you're not careful. I thought it was important." Zoro says trying to break Luffy out of his silence.

"It is. Thanks, (First Name)!" He smiles.

"You protected my precious possession, so I don't see any reason not to do the same for yours." I smile back.

Zoro lets out a groan and throws his head back. "Oh, I'm so hungry. It's killing me!"

"This wouldn't have happened, Luffy, if you didn't go back on your word and went and ate all our food supplies. You're now forbidden to even come near my bag." I moan. "We're never gonna survive this journey if Luffy keeps eating our food."

"Agreed." The otter replies.

"Hey look, a bird." Zoro says monotonously.

Luffy's face then starts to gain that grin. "I know! Let's eat it!"

"And how exactly do you plan to cook something that big, Luffy? I don't have enough charcoal or even room on my boat to fit it." My logic went unnoticed by the boy's promise of food.

"And how would we even catch it?" Zoro asks.

"Leave that to me!" Luffy stands and stretches his arms of his boats yard.

"GUM-GUM ROCKET!" And he launches himself at the bird.

🌀This isn't going to end well. I know it.🌀 Ahio pitches in.

"You and me both." / 🌺You and me both.🌺 Carmela and I respond back. And just like we thought Luffy then get caught in the mouth of the bird and is being carried away.

"AAAAAAH! (FIRST NAME)! HELP MEEEEEEE!"

"You moron! What the hell's going on now?!" Zoro yells as he begins to paddle the boat like crazy to keep up with the bird and Luffy. I didn't want to leave it up to chance to sail ahead of Zoro to keep track of our captain with his bad sense of direction. So, I went with the next best option.

"Carmela, Ahio, try and keep up with Luffy and see if you can get the bird to drop him, particularly on an island." I instruct.

🌀🌺Don't need to tell us twice.🌺🌀 They say as they fly off to keep up with the giant bird. I then knock on the side of the boat.

"Calder, can you follow from the sea as a backup?"

He nods and starts swimming at breakneck speed to keep up.

"Hey, you there! Stop! Please! Man overboard! Stop! Men overboard!" A voice cries out.

I glance over the side of the boat and spot a man flailing his arms trying to get our attention, along with two other men with him.

"Zoro! Ship wreckers, 12 o'clock!" I cry out.

💥At a time like this?💥 Trigger bemoans.

"I can't stop! You're just gonna have to jump in!" Zoro shouts as he continues to row. The three shipwrecks managed to latch themselves onto the back of Zoro's boat and climb aboard. I look to Umi and Trigger to give them the word that if they try anything they have permission to put them in their place.

"I'm actually impressed you made it on board!" Zoro smirks, still paddling.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US?!" All three of them yelled.

"Ya know, they should be more grateful that we even let them on board at all." I say.

"Stop the boats now." The one in a black hat with a pirate jolly roger designed like a clown brings out a knife and points it at Zoro. "The three of us are members of Buggy the Clown's pirate crew. These boats and the woman are ours now." He smirks.

Zoro's rowing slows as he turns to glare at the three shipwrecked pirates. "Huh?"

☠🏴‍☠️️☠

After a good wailing on by Zoro, Trigger, and Umi, the three opposing pirate crew members were put to good use of rowing Zoro's boat for us. Mainly because they wanted to keep their own lives. Zoro is now laid back on his side of the boat while Umi bares her fangs at the morons and Trigger is currently aiming his bazooka at them for any wrong moves to give him a reason to use his weapon.

"Ehehehe. I'm sorry! We had no idea you were the famous Pirate Hunter Zoro and that this woman was a friend of yours. Please forgive us!" They beg. I decided against wearing my cloak, seeing as these idiots weren't even worth the effort.

"Shut up and keep rowing or else I let my otter friend turn you three into chum for the sharks. And believe me, he's really itchin' to blow something up." I glower, and they flinch at the killing aura I'm giving off.

"Thanks to you three idiots we lost sight of our friend." Zoro glares. "So, like she said, 'Keep rowing'."

"Yes Sir! / Yes Ma'am!"

"Luffy will find one way or another to get himself out of a problem. But it normally means getting himself into another one." I voice.

"So . . .any ideas on what we do now?" Says one of the pirates, conversing amongst themselves.

"Good question. If Captain Buggy finds out a girl stole our boat and our treasure, we're history."

"I know."

"Huh? So, who is this Buggy guy?" Zoro questions.

"Uh! You've never heard of Buggy the Clown?!" The man asks, shocked.

"Nope." Simply answers Zoro.

"He's the ruthless captain of our pirate ship and he's eaten one of the Devil Fruits." The man says with a serious face. "And above everything else, he's one truly terrifying man."

Just like I thought. "Out of the frying pan . . ."

💥And into the fire.💥 Trigger finishes.

☠TO BE CONTINUED . . . ☠

On the next One Piece. . .

"How can any human being be alive and chopped up at the same time?"

"You're a rubber guy. How human do you think that is?"

"And I'm a fish woman. We're not exactly a normal bunch, Luffy."

"Nothing makes sense anymore. A rubber guy, a chopped-up guy and a fish woman. Who are these people?!"

"Uh . . .pirates!"

"No. That's not what I meant. C'mon!"
