Michael finally lifted his strong and muscled body off the stone floor. With a heavy heart, The Prince walked over to the alter, and lit a few candles before he turned around, and walked out of Saint Mary's catholic cathedral. The dried tears on his handsome chiseled face were tell tale signs of the pain, and suffering that the warrior was feeling deep in his heart.
Walking back inside the castle, the Prince made his way up the stairs, and into his mothers chambers, where he found his brother Edward, and Lidia, still there caring for his betrothed. He threw a glance at the bed where Kyra lay unconscious, and his heart twisted with pain.
Walking up to her, he placed his hand on her forehead to see if the fever was still present, and he was relieved to find that her body was cool to his touch. His heart sang a happy song, closing his eyes, Michael silently gave thanks to God for saving his soulmate.
Sitting on the bed next to her, the Prince took her hand in his, and brought it to his lips, kissing it softly. When she awakens from this ordeal, he was going to beg her for forgiveness, and marry her if she will still have him, he thought, but first he has to bring her memory back. He searched his mind for the spell that would help her remember, the one he implanted in her mind to help her gain her memory back.
Michael turned around, and threw a glance at his brother. "You can leave now, I will take over from here on. You too mother, go rest your body, you can have my bed for today, and when Kyra awakens I will remove her from here, and transfer her to my chambers, and you could have your chambers back."
Edward threw his head back, and roared with laughter. "Brother, you must be insane! Do you honestly believe that when Kyra wakes up, it will be you she will want to see taking care of her?"
Michael tensed, he knew that it would not be easy to get Edward to let go of Kyra. His brother loved her, and would probably fight for her.
"I'm going to marry her Edward, you must look for your own soulmate, Kyra is mine! Now please leave this room!" Michael warned.
"I'm not going anywhere brother, I'm staying right here until Kyra wakes up!" Edward growled.
The Prince let go of Kyra's hand, and slowly lifted his body off the bed. "You will leave brother, she will be my wife, and you need to find yourself your own soulmate!"
Edward lifted his body from the chair he sat in. Standing before his brother, he looked into his emerald eyes and said coldly, "I will not leave!"
Lidia rolled her eyes, this wasn't going well, she thought dryly, her sons are acting like children. "Stop this right now, I want the both of you to leave my chambers!" She hissed in a low tone, not wanting to disrupt Kyra's sleep.
Her sons ignored her, and continued to look at each other angrily, and Lidia feared that a fight will break out. She walked over to the door, pulled it open, and pointed her finger out in the hallway. "Out! Both of you leave now!"
The brothers knew that their mother was fuming with anger, and they marched out of her chambers before she threw them out, and then they would have to deal with their father. They knew William will come after them, and beat them unconscious if he finds that they have upsetted his soulmate, because he is very protective of her.
Edward flew down the stairs, marched through the great hall, where all the warriors had gathered, and out the double wooden doors. Michael followed behind him angrilly, wanting to rip his throat out.
Chief Douglas, and William, witnessed the brothers march out into the courtyard, and wasted no time running after them.
"You think to steal my bride from me?" Michael called out to his brother.
Edward turned around slowly, his muscled chest was heaving with anger. His brother did not deserve Kyra, he made her suffer one too many times, he thought angrily. "You don't deserve her!"
"And you do?" Michael's asked with hatred.
"Yes I do! I can make her happy, all you do is torture her!" He yelled.
William was about to run to his sons and give them a piece of his mind, but the chief placed his huge palm on his muscled chest, and whispered. "No wait, let them figure it out by themselves, if we interfere now it will make things worse."
"Brother, mayhap you should stay out of my bussiness, before I beat you senseless!" Michael threatened.
"You think so highly of yourself don't you? You couldn't even save her on doomsday! You don't deserve her, and I'm going to take her from you!" Edward said, knowing that his words would drive his brother mad, and he prepared himself for an attack.
"I saved her, I threw her into the future!" Michael's said through gritted teeth. He was on the verge of exploding, as he fisted his huge hands at his side.
"That was not enough, and you know it! The witches will come back for her, they want her dead, and all you think of is to marry her, so you can get her into your bed!" Edward yelled back.
"I love her with every breath that I take! She is mine Edward, stay away from her!" Michael's threatened, and took a step forward.
"She will not be yours for long brother. I am going to take her from you, and show her what it means to be loved by a real man!" Edward said foolishly, not realizing the danger he was putting himself in, baiting his brother in this way.
Ggggggrrrrrr.....
"Listen to yourself, you sound like a beast!" Edward laughed coldly.
Gggggrrrrrrr.....
Edward rolled his eyes, did his brother really think to scare him by growling? "I'm going to take her from you and make sweet passionate love to her!" He said, with satisfaction, as he watched his brothers face turn black with rage, and charge towards him. He wanted to fight Michael, to take out his frustration for not finding Kyra first. He wanted her and he was going to do everything he could to win her heart! He thought right before Michael's fist punched him in the face.
Edward staggered backwards by the hard blow to his cheek, but quickly recovered and threw one back, then all hell broke loose as the brothers fought with the strength of lions.
The chief and William watched as the brothers took out their anger on each other. "How is this fighting a good thing?" William asked the chief.
"Well, anger was brewing inside them for much too long, and this fight will defuse some of the anger that they carry inside their heart." The chief said, and could not help but admire the strength in the two warriors, as they beat the crap out of each other.
"So we are to let them beat each other up without interrupting them?" William looked at the chief, expecting an answer.
"Yes, that's right. This will be therapeutic for them." Chief Douglas said.
"I see your logic in your wise words my friend." The Healer said, and focused his attention back to his sons.
So now my friends I have some questions for all of you.
1. Who's bed chamber does Kyra go to when she wakes up, Michael's or Edwards?
2. Should she forgive Michael everything he has done to her?
3. Should she start to have feelings for Edward?
4. Or should Edward find his own soulmate?
5. Should Kyra marry Michael? Willingly or unwillingly?
