hello los angeles. we have 3 days to practice for the house of blues, but, we're leaving for a day. to go to san jose.
i decide to text clementine.
me: guess what guess what
clem: chicken butt
me: lol no we're going to san jose.
clem: really?! why??
me: we wanted to visit you before we go on tour again.
clem: oh well then where are you lol
me: 5 hours away
clem: ok see you then
me: where do you wanna meet
clem: eastridge mall
me: a mall?
clem: disguise yourselves i'm bringing my younger cousin she's a fan
me: she wont kill us will she
clem: not at all maybe she'll drool over you maybe
me: then bring her
clem: ok see you then
me: see ya
we'll be there in a couple hours.

we drove to the mall in a regular looking car. we wore shorts instead of skinny jeans with our regular looking shoes and regular tshirts hopefully we don't give anything away.
we tried our best to look like we're not famous.
me: clem where r u
clem: food court
me: in front of where
clem: subway
i look around and spot her, sitting with a younger girl.
we run to her and sit down next to her our bodyguard sits in the table beside us so we don't look suspicious.
"aw hi guys!"
"hi clem!"
"this is my cousin, melany."
"hello there."
"c-clementine...i wanna scream right now."
"don't."
"you-you guys. you're really-"
"shhhhh. hello melany."
"clementine...michael said my name. michael said my name."
"yes he did melany now calm down."
"I CAN'T." she whisper-shouted.
"well try."
melany was shaking, it was really scary. i thought she was going to faint. then she turned really pale.
"melany breathe."
"no."
"breathe melany."
"i can't."
"whoa what's wrong?"
"whenever she gets really really happy or really really sad, she turns pale like a ghost and stops breathing. for a moment."
"um, m-melany, breathe." i told her.
she huffed out a huge sigh.
"okay i'm good now."
"you sure?"
"yeah. i'm over it. hi calum, michael, luke, and ashton."
"her favorite is-"
"cake."
"cake?"
"calum and luke. and mashton. michael and ashton. i can't choose."
"yes you can, you have his face all over your wall."
"not even, i have all their faces, just have michael's more. oops."
"aw."
"how old are you?"
"16."
"is it illegal if i ask her out."
"probably."
"its only illegal if you have sex with her."
"well i just wanted to ask her out."
"clementine, your thoughts?"

we all looked at melany and she had her jaw dropped. from the moment he asked for her age, she hadn't moved.
"melany breathe."
clementine slapped her back multiple times but she only responded when michael told her to breathe.
"breathe melany breathe."
"*loud gasp* i'm good."
"your only two years apart."
"exactly."
melany just sat there.
"so, melany, wanna go out?"
"nah. it's too complicated. your always touring rather not hold you back from better opportunities. so no. sorry."
"oh okay. thanks for being nice about it."
then we all just sat there talking.
then after a couple hours it was time to go.
"bye clementine. it was awesome seeing you again."
"bye ash."
"bye melany."
"bye ashton."
"see ya later clem."
"bye luke."
"bye melany."
"b-b-bye."
"bye rogers."
"bye clifford."
"bye melany. *sigh*"
"bye michael clifford. holy shit i can actually say that."
"bye clementine."
"bye calum, great seeing you again. won't see you again for a lonnnng time."
"yeah. bye melany."
"bye calum."
she waited for clementine to be distracted and whispered something in my ear.
"*whispers* oh and don't worry, she'll realize it one day, and it'll all work out. nice meeting you cal."
"t-thanks. bye melany."
and we were back on the road before we know it, on our way back to l.a. to perform at the house of blues.
