Please listen to the song at the top AFTER you read the chapter. I think It really expresses how Fred is feeling. And since I am writing in the first person I don't get the chance to explain the other characters feelings, so I think these videos are nice :) <3
As soon as I walked into the back room, I was stunned. There was a table for two covered by white lace and he had enchanted glowing red hearts to flutter around the room. It was dim in here, unlike the other parts of the store. I watched Fred mutter a charm to light the candle that was placed between both plates that were resting on the table. I felt my heart twinged as I looked around in awe. This was so romantic...
"What's going on?" I could feel my lips growing into a grin as I looked over at Fred. He chuckled slightly, looking at the ground as if he was embarrassed. His eyes then rested on my frame as I noticed he was trying to hold back his cheesy grin, he was failing.
"This was always a real date in my mind." His words had caused my cheeks to turn a dark shade of crimson. I felt that oh so familiar flutter inside my chest as I watched him pull out my chair for me. I took a seat as I watched him walk around the dining table to join me. As soon as he sat down, a beautiful spaghetti dinner that smelled absolutely delicious appeared before us. I couldn't hold back my smile. I never would have expected anything like this from him. All my life I always knew him as a prankster. The guy who makes jokes! As we started to eat I began to think back when I had my very first kiss... That stupid truth or dare game when George had dared Fred to snog me. I remember how his lips had barely touched mine but even though it was short and simple it still had caused my heart to implode. I was intrigued by the feeling but it also scared me. Honestly, I think that was the main reason why I never really wanted to date anyone. Feeling that way intimidated me... it still does. Especially after what just happened between Severus and I... I took a sip of my water as I purposely gazed at the man before me. I rested my hand on my cheek as sighed happily, studying his features.
"Like what you see?" Fred set down his silverware as he folded his hands together, copying my gaze.
"I always like what I see when I look at you, Fred." I watched hit ears tint pink as I stood, slowly taking a step closer to him.
"I like the way your eyes look at me like I'm the only girl you've ever seen..." I took another step closer to him. He stayed still, his smile now gone, replaced with a serious expression. What he didn't know was that I had a handful of noodles hiding behind my back... I just had to get close enough to him without him expecting anything. He always caught me whenever I tried to pull anything past him.
"I love how you blush by my simplest words." Another step closer. I was only one step away from him now.
"And I don't know why... but I love how tall you are..." I bit my lip as I looked down at the stunned Weasley. I held my face still as I studied his sitting form. All of a sudden he stood up, I jumped slightly but then I couldn't help but laugh a bit as I realized his actions were because of my last comment. He's adorable. I took another step closer to him as I wrapped my arms around his neck, preparing to attack.
"And your hair..." Just as I was about to finally succeed in a prank, a loud bang startled me. I turned to see that someone had busted through the doors. I saw a tall, dark figure staring at the scene that was happening between Fred and I.
"Severus?" I questioned as I dropped my hold from Fred.
"(Y/n), who is that?" Fred's voice held shock and confusion. He was most likely worried about how someone had easily broken into his store.
"Her boyfriend." Snape seethed as he swiftly came over to us, harshly shoving Fred away from me.
"Hey! Don't touch him like that!" I yelled as I made my way over to my date, making sure he was okay.
"For the record, he's not my boyfriend anymore," I spoke to Fred while glaring daggers at Severus. I am absolutely appalled! How dare he ignore me and then randomly show up here, claiming that he never ended out relationship!
"Hold on... Isn't he that new teacher at Hogwarts?" Crap.
"No." I quickly retorted.
"Yeah, yes he is. You teach... potions... (Y/n), is that why you couldn't talk about him?" Fred looked at me like he was finally understanding everything I explained to him at Christmas.
"I'll handle this." Severus drew his wand but before he could mutter a charm, I had practically jumped on him, pushing him away from Fred. There was no way he was using any magic on him because of this!
"Knock it off!" He froze at my words, placing his wand at his side as he sighed.
"Fred... you won't say anything will you...?" He shook his head as I flashed him a small smile. My way of saying 'thanks'.
"There, now you need to leave." I glared at Snape as I folded my arms into each other. I was furious with him right now. I was mad before, but now I don't even know if I can control my anger. How dare he come here and embarass me this way.
"(Y/n), please listen to me... I am absolutely in love with you... I never stop thinking about you... You are the only thing that makes me happy... and ever since we stopped talking it feels like apart of myself left with you-" My heart began thundering in my chest as I listen to him speak. I know what he meant, I felt the same exact way.
"I regretted what I said the moment after the words left my mouth... I got scared... because-" He got choked up. He looked at the ground as if he was ashamed of himself like he didn't want to tell me what he was about to say next.
"Because?"
"Because I was offered a promotion... I have to leave for six months... and if the ministry ever found out about... us. I'd be done for." I nodded my head, I understood where he was coming from now. That makes complete sense, I mean, he's been working really hard for this... But that still didn't ease my pain any. Actually, it made it worst.
"I want to try though... I'm nothing without you. Please, can we give this another shot? You can still move in with me, you can just come with!" Severus was now standing in front of me, holding one of my hands as he softly brought it to his lips. I have to admit his offer sounded nice, but I can't do this to myself any longer. I have to do what's best for me.
"No..." I felt my eyes burn as tears erupted from them.
"I'm not gonna be your personal pet that just follows you around! I have my own life, Severus! I can't spend three years hiding from the Ministry...- I love you, so much... But I can't... I can't live my life with a man who's job will always come before me..." As I spoke, he had rested his forehead against mine, I could see tears in his eyes as he held my cheek. I missed his touch. Just his sweet caress was almost enough for me to change my mind... He held my head in both his hands as he examined me.
"Then give us until you graduate... just- let us have this time together...I need you (Y/n)" As I let air fill my lungs, I could hear and feel the quivering of my breath. I couldn't say no to him twice. I love him... as much as I want to tell myself to stop, I can't... I want this just as much as he does.
"Okay." I nodded as I saw a sad smile grow onto his thin lips.
"Okay?" He grinned as I saw a single tear fall away from his raven colored irises.
"Okay," I repeated as my lips matched his. He pulled me into a tight hug as I felt him kiss the side of my head. He ran his fingers through my hair as I felt that sweet flutter in my chest before he pulled away.
"I'll a-... wait outside." Severus gestured behind me at Fred, seeing how I was going to have to explain myself to him. I watched Severus leave, waiting a moment after he shut the door to speak.
"Fred, I-"
"It's okay... I get it. You're in love with him." He pressed his lips together as he walked over to me, pulling me into a hug.
"Just... remember to think of me after graduation, okay?" I looked up to see a grin plastered on his face. A laugh erupted through me as I stared up at his freckled nose. I can't believe he'd still be interested in me after this horrendous end to a date.
"I will," I said as I pulled myself away from his arms. I tossed him a small wave before walking out the door to join Severus.
Maybe it wasn't going to be forever like we hoped... but at least we had some time.

There will be a changed version of this chapter starting out the alternate ending for Fred! I already have so many ideas for that ending, same with the Draco one! SO I really hope you guys decide to read them when I begin posting them! :) <3
