Rin's P.O.V.
I wake up at 4:30 am and get ready for the day. packing all the things i'll need for my mission
walking downstairs to the kitchen to get breakfast
"Morning babygirl" my dad says
"morning dad, have a mission too?" i ask
"yea its just retrieving a scroll from 3 towns over" he tells me
"mines S rank, so i cant tell you" i say
"ok well be safe then, i have to go" he tells me
i see my mom placing down a plate of food for me
"thanks mom" i say eating it.
"be safe" she tells me kissing my forehead
"i always am, I'll be back to walk the boys, after that i leave for the mission which is in suna" i tell her
"how long?" she asks
"maybe 2 weeks" i reply
"ok... I'll see you later, I'll also pack you a lunch" she says
"genkos coming too, not the other 2" i tell her
"ah ok, tell genko to visit before he leaves" my mom says
"alright, bye mom" i say
"see you rinny" she says cleaning up the dishes
"yo bird" i hear owl say
"hey Owl" i say
"what mission you got?" he asks
"the suna one" i tell him
"yikes, mines in the land of clouds" he tells me
"lucky, im going be burning hot in suna" i say
"haha but aren't you already to hot?" he says jokingly
"you know it" i tell him
"Bird lets go, Dog and Bear are waiting for us" I hear Genko say
"hai coming, talk to you later" i tell owl
i walk past genko to the training grounds. but i stop once i realize hes not behind me
Genko is talking to Owl about something which is odd cuz Genko doesn't really like him
he catches up to me
"what were you talking about?" i ask
"he and i might have a mission together soon" Genko tells me
"ah ok, well race you there" i say before racing to the training grounds
"hey no fair" genko complains racing after me
"took you guys long enough, your like 1 hour late" Haru says
"sorry, my mom wanted to talk to me about something" i say
"whatever, knowing you. You're gunna walk your brother to school and ditch training" Haru says
"spot on, also wolf my mom packed us lunches for our mission" i tell him
"nice, I'll pick them up then" he says
"ok, I'll meet you there then" i say
after talking Kakashi, Genko, haru, and i begin training
"ah to hard, too hard" i hear haru say
"sorry, didn't mean to" Kakashi says
"Kami your punches hurt" haru says rubbing his chest.
"Yo Bird, school" Genko says
"right, thanks." i say
"well see you two in a few weeks than" Kakashi says
"yea, lets get BBQ when we get back" i suggest
"im in" haru says
"me too" genko says
"do you even have to ask" Kakashi says
"haha alright, see you guys soon then" i say before Genko and i head to my house after taking our masks off
once we get there i see my mom trying to get Shikamaru to stay awake
"Hey Shika, we gotta go i have a mission " i say and he sits up getting ready to leave
my mom sighs shaking her head
"Genko's here" i tell her
"ah he came" she says smiling
"of course i did" he tells her
"alright be back in a bit" i tell my mom and Genko
Sasuke and Shika walk on either side of me.
"how longs you mission One-chan?" Shika asks me
"ah about 2 or 3 weeks" i tell him
"why didn't you tell me last night" he complains
"sorry sorry, when i get back we'll watch clouds together" i tell him
shika nods
"what about me One-chan" sasuke says monetone
"we'll get fried tomatoes" i tell him
he gives a small smile
"hn" he says
' he reminds me of itachi...' i think sadly
"alright, well i'll see you when i get back" i tell them before they leave for class
"bye One-chan" they both say
"ah Naruto!" i say seeing him
"one-chan" he says
"i wont be able to get ramen for about half a month, im leaving for a mission today" i tell him
"whhaaa ok one-chan" he says pouting
"ill stop by and give teuchi a weeks ramen worth" i tell him
"yay thank you one-chan" he says smiling that bright smile he and Minato have
"alright get to class then" i tell him
"hai bye one-chan" he says leaving
i head the ramen shop and see ayama but no Teuchi
"wheres teuchI?" i ask
"he left to get somethings from the market, what can i get for you?" she asks
"ah i have a mission, just dropping off some money for Naruto" i tell her
she nods and gets the 'Naruto jar'
"there should be a weeks worth in there" i tell her
"hai, see you soon then Nara-san" she says
"bye bye ayama" i say now heading home to get Genko
Genko's P.o.v.
Rin and i were now on our way to suna for our mission, i didn't know the details but rin did
"we don't have to rush there, so we'll sleep the nights somewhere" she tells me
"hai, i told temari we wouldn't be there right away anyways" i reply
timeskip
we were now at the Kazekages office, ready for the mission
"i hope you two get them there and back safely" he says
"of course Lord Kazekage" rin says
the door opens and the sand siblings are there
"Big brother" temari says hugging me
"hey imoto" i say
"alright you leave now then" the kage says
we bow and leave heading to Temari's and the other 2's house
the red haired boy seemingly feared by everyone
we reach their house and they gather the things they'll need
"lets get going" rin says
the five of us go to the gate and head to the springs the Kazekage chose for the kids to stay at.
"ne brother, how far is it?" temari asks
"hmmm about 9 hours away walking" i tell her
"and running?" she asks
"depends on the speed, at Mines and Birds pace about 2 or 3 hours" i tell her
"really that's cool" one of the young boys say
"ah im Kankuro"he says realizing rin nor i knew his name.
"you can call me Bird" rin says
"hes my brother so you can call him brother too" temari tells him
"or wolf if you feel more comfortable with that" i tell him
he nods and we continue
after a number of rests along the way we were now 2 hours away, only problem it would most likely take an hour longer seeing as a road we had to go along was blocked off my rocks that had fallen
"eh... this is tiring" kankuro complained
"well Bird and i could carry you guys, it would be quicker" i say
"that be awesome... but gaara" kankuro says before trailing off
"i'll make my own way up" the youngest says
"are you sure? i could piggyback you" Rin says
i see temari grimace
gaara doesn't say anything
"or not...." rin says confused
"i want a piggyback" kankuro says
"your fatass should get one from Brother" temari says
"actually bird is stronger than me' i say truthfully
"really?" temari asks
"hai i am, not one ninja from the leaf has beaten me in an arm wrestle" she says
"that's so cool" temari says admiring rin
"hai, so this well take maybe another 2 hours" rin says
"to get there?" kankuro asks
"no to get past this rockslide, to get there is another 4-5 hours" i say
kankuro groans
"well maybe if you weren't so slow" temari says annoyed
"alright fine, ill push past my laziness" kankuro says
we all pick up the pace but rin and i notice Gaara was having troubles keeping up
"do you want a piggyback now?" rin offers
gaara doesn't say anything but nods slowly
rin bends down and allows him to climb on.
i notice both Kankuro and Temari seem wary of him
the four of us start to go faster and soon reach the top.
"alright we cut 1 and a half hours from out trip" I say
"gaara do you wanna stay on or get off?" rin asks
gaara doesn't move or say anything
"gaara?" rin asks
i walk over to them and see Gaara sleeping
"shhh hes asleep" i say
"what?" temari asks
"hes asleep" i repeat
"no way" kankuro says
"he is still young" i say
"but he never sleeps like i mean never" Kankuro tells us
"well he is now so shhhh, lets continue" rin says
we finally make it to the springs and hotel we'll be staying at for awhile,
"I'll check in, Wolf why don't you and Temari go and get supper" Rin says
"hai, what should we get?" i ask
"BBQ" Kankuro says
"yea" temari agrees
"alright lets go then" i say walking away
Rin's P.o.v.
Kankuro and i entered our room that was massive, each person had their own room.
"I'm going to put him in bed, you go and unpack your things" i tell kankuro
he nods and leaves
i walk into a room and place him on his bed, pulling out the scroll that has his clothes and other things he packed
i open it all his things which was very little appeared.
i leave him to sleep some more.
"ah kankuro, i wanted to ask what you meant by Gaara never sleeps" i ask him
"ah well... im not suppose to tell you this, but you'll be guarding us so... gaara is a demon" kankuro says
"kankuro no ones a demon... they may act like one but they aren't" i tell him thinking of Naruto.
"well hes not a demon but he has one inside of him" kankuro explains
"he's a vessel..." i say realizing hes just like Naruto
"hai, he has the one tail in him" kankuro says
"but why does he never sleep?" i ask
"because the last time he did the demon got out" kankuro tells me
