we had reached Suna, careful as we entered.
we went to the Kages office to say we were here and ready to aid
Our team was lead to an area where we could tell a lot of fighting was happening
medical tents were set up, along with sleeping tents
"we need help in the front rows, can your team handle it?" a suna ninja asked that was leading us
"yes we can" i tell him
"good, you'll need to head there right away" the ninja says
we reach the war zone and see many dead bodies and dents in the ground.
"we are short on numbers so there aren't many fighting on the front lines. everyone has been told you will be here, the front lines are that way, once you get there ask for Baki" the ninja says before leaving
we race there and we are greeted by many injured suna ninjas.
"we're looking for baki" i say to someone i see. they point to a tent over on the far right
"thanks" i say simply before the team heads over.
we enter the tent and we are greeted by on male ninja
"you must be from the leaf, glad you could join us" the ninja we presume to be baki says
"which one of you is the team leader" he asks
we hadn't agreed one the team leader... which was stupid of us
"Bird is" Genko says
Haru agrees by nodding his head
"whats the plan?" mi ask stepping in front of the team.
"you're... a child" he says
"but i am strong, now what is it you need" i ask
"is there a medic, we need help with the injured" he tells us
"wolf will help, wolf head to the med tents" i tell Genko
genko nods and leaves us
"ok good, now then the front line is about 5 miles that ways, i ask you 4 head there with me so we can start to aid sunas small amount of ninja we have left" baki says
we head out and arrive, we see many already fighting.
"anyone wearing suna is now your comrade. begin, i have to get back and set up for our next action" baki says leaving
we all head forward killing each ninja not wearing a suna head band
we run into a group of suna that are sitting in a ditch with many injured
"who are you?" one asks standing with a kunai ready to attack
"Dog, Bear continue the fighting." i say and they leave
"we are the leaf nin sent to aid you" i say
the man lowers his kunai "either of you a medic?" the man asks
"yes i am, yondaime bring those able to travel back to base" i tell minato
"those that are able to travel, and that can carry injured please folloe Yondaime back to your base. those that are not able to i will stay back with your sections leader" i inform them
many start to move and get ready to leave.
there are injured people placed on peoples backs to be carried back.
minato looks at them all and they leave
the man that had pulled the kunai out takes me to the injured.
i begin treating them the best i could telling the man to wrap an injury or gather supplies for me.
30 minutes had past and minato was back with more suna nin to carry the injured back
"lets go, we have to join up with Bear and Dog" i tell minato.
we leave and track down the two.
we join them in the fighting once again killing the enemies without mercy.
i sigh as i use my shadow jutsu to hold over 100 enemy ninja in place.
as i do that Haru slaughters them, we had done this thing a lot when we were still on team 7.
i notice Kakashi is beginning to tire out "Bear aid Dog, Yondaime with me" i say
Bear and Dog are fighting but i could tell both were very close to running out of chakra.
"head back to base for now, next group will be heading in now" i say
minato heads back as ordered.
i head over to Kakashi and Haru to help them.
i see Kakashi being attacked by 4 ninja.
i blow a fire ball that knocks 2 out
Haru comes over to me and we take out the rest with Kakashi.
"that's our shift, we head back and continue in 5 hours" i tell the two
they nod and we head back to base.
we pass the group that was taking over.
"go and tell wolf to take a break with us, we need to eat then go to sleep so we're ready" i tell haru
Kakashi and i head to the food tent that is very empty.
i see minato already seated.
we sit and wait for haru and Genko before we get our food.
"how was the med tent?" i ask genko as we sit back down each of us with a tray of food
"packed, there are so many injured" he tells us
"that's what war does" haru says taking a bite of his bread
"how is it out there?" genko asks
"messy, i noticed the enemy nin have more numbers, its a major problem" i tell genko
"i need to go and speak to baki after." i tell the group
"i have to ask... not to be rude but Bear why did you say Bird was out leader" Kakashi asks
"simple i trust her, plus she is an anbu captain. i don't know you or your abilities" haru tells him
"i am also an anbu captain. i think i am also a better suit for being the captain" Kakashi says
"if that's what you think then go ahead" i tell Kakashi
"do you not care?" Kakashi asks
"I've been captain on a number of missions... literally all my missions, it'd be nice for someone else to be" i tell him
"i think its best if Bird stays captain, Bear, Wolf and I all know and trust her. the three don't know you that well." minato says
"i'm fine with that" Kakashi says
"alright i'm done, i'll stay captain. you 4 go and rest, i have to go and report" i say standing up
the 4 of them leave and go to the resting tents
i head to bakis tent and see him stressing over a map
"ive come to report" i tell him
"alright what is it?" he asks
"there are at least 1000 on the west side and another 700 to the south, my team and i, along with some suna nin made it past their front lines, we have moved up
"good job, now come and take a look at my plan" baki says waving me over to the map
i look at the sheet and see a number of flaws in the plan
"i would place another group over to the west and i'd set up a small base on the south side instead, that way it would be easier to move the injured" i tell him
he nods taking my advice and placing it on the map.
"alright, i know you need a break but about 5 minutes ago one of the nins just set out came back injured telling us half of them have been wiped out. could you go back out with a group from suna" baki asks me
"of course" i tell him holding in my sigh
he leads me to a large group suna nin
"alright Team this Bird she is here from the leaf to aid us, she will taking over as your captain. once again you will be heading off to the front lines. she will be in charge of what you do out there. now please inform her of your position on the team" baki says before leaving
the group had 15 people on it most looked like they had already been out there.
there were 4 medic, 7 defends and 4 attackers.
"alright 3 defends up front, attackers behind the front, and then meds and one defend on each side of meds" i tell the group
"i will be up front, if we get slipt up group of threes manji formation" i say and we head out.
i knock down each ninja in front of me.
"Captain, are you going to let us help?" one of the ninja from the group asks
"these ninja are weak, everyone spilt into 2 groups. on med and one defend with me." they do as i say and we go our own way
3 hours on the battle field and we haven't lost one from the group yet.
"regroup" i shout
we meet up and stand together fighting off any enemies that come to us.
"we have 2 more hours till we can head back for a break, those that are tired head back now." i say
5 people leave, 2 meds and two defends and one attacker
"alright we stick together now, meds in the middle defends all sides, attacker upfront with me" i say before we all charge back in.
i hear a scream and see 2 men had been attacked from the group, one in the leg an another in the chest
i cut down the 3 enemies that had made it inside the group
"med tend to them, the rest protect" i say and get ready
at least 40 enemies appear.
"alright attackers get ready to attack, i will disable them but i i can only for about 10 minutes. they all need to be down before then" i say
i use my shadow jutsu again and hold all enemies at bay.
most are killed but about 5 are left.
i watch as my team members join up ready to kill the ones alive,
i jump in front of my team cutting down the enemy.
"alright there are too many we need to head back now" i say
the team picks up the two injured and we leave
back at base i inform baki.
"now im going to rest, i will be in the resting tent." i tell baki
i get in the tent and see my team getting ready to head out.
"take care you guys" i say laying down on a bed.
"you shouldn't have gone out there again" minato says
"hey we are the same rank, even though i am younger i got my rank the same way you did" i tell him
"i am also the captain of this team... now get going, theres a lot out there." i tell him
"be safe Bear,wolf. you too Dog and Yondaime" i say before they leave.
i sleep for about 4 hours before im awaken by baki
"im sending all able to go now, we are losing." baki says before waking the others
i race out tracking down my team and thankfully the are all fine.
genko being back at med base.
"alright Bear lets do shadow cage" i say
haru nods and stands beside me
i spread my jutsu as much i can grabbing ahold of the most i had ever handled
"dog help Bear" i say as minato covers me
Kakashi and Haru wipe out all under my jutsu which was about 200
"alright any ideas?" i ask as haru and Kakashi join up beside minato and i
"we should take them from inside" Kakashi says
i look at the enemy nin and the area
"alright lets go" i say
we charge through them getting to the base
