Real Life
"So for today, we have very special guests," Ellen began, "I don't know why it took us long to actually have them here." She chuckled with a shrug of her shoulders. "Please welcome, Harry and Princess Y/N Styles!"
The entire room erupted with cheer, everyone standing on their feet as you and Harry came out, holding hands and waving with wide grins as you walked towards Ellen, opening your arms as you greet her with a hug while the audience continues to cheer.
You wave as Harry hugs Ellen before the cheer dies down as you both sit.
"I felt like the cheering would just go on and on, like," Ellen laughed as someone screamed from the audience, "Like it's just an episode of you sitting and people cheering and that's it. Special episode."
You and Harry laughed, "I love it." Harry said.
"He feeds of on it – it feeds his ego." You joked, patting Harry's knee.
"You're actually known for this, Harry. You like people screaming for you, huh?"
"That sounds so wrong but," He laughed, nodding, "I do, I do."
"How's-How's marriage treating you? You've been married for two months now- beautiful wedding by the way." Ellen motioned her hand towards you as she talked.
"Thank you," You replied with a smile and a hand to your heart, "Marriage has been fun," You nodded, looking at Harry and smiling when he gave you a smile of his and a nod, "It feels like a break from all the preparation we went through for the wedding and the honeymoon and we were having our flat renovated, so it was all a bit hectic but everything's settled now."
"You both already had lived together, right?" Ellen asked.
Harry nodded, "Correct, yes."
"And you have pets together? Tell us more about them."
At the mention of your pets, you grinned, letting out a low giggle as you sat up, making everyone laughing. "She gets excited when it comes to them. They're like our children." Harry chuckled, putting his hand on your back.
"They are our children!" You laughed, "And they're so charismatic. We have Diego, Harvey and Evie."
"Y/N had Diego since right after she graduated so he's like the old sibling," Harry explained, looking back at the screen as it showed a picture of you and Harry, his arm around your waist and your hand on his chest with your wedding ring glimmering, your pets standing straight in front of you for the picture as you both smiled. The audience awed, you joining them and Harry chuckling slightly, "And that's Harvey," He pointed at the brown Chow Chow dog, "And that's our little baby, Evie."
"Evie is the only cat?" Ellen asked.
You both nodded, "It's just her." You answered.
"You actually had your pets included in the wedding, right? It was during the reception when I just all of a sudden saw your pets sitting on this, like, mat beside your table." Ellen said.
"Our kids just had to be included." You brought your shoulder to your cheek, giving her a smile.
"I actually have a stray pet that needs shelter and I don't know what to do with it, nobody does and," Ellen began, catching yours and Harry's undivided attention, "Here," She motioned towards the screen, the blank screen switching to a picture of none other than Ellen herself. "She has no place to go. Doesn't eat much,"
You and Harry bursted out laughing along with the audience, throwing your head back as you did. "I'll take her!" You interrupted Ellen.
"Where are the adoption papers? We're signing them." Harry went along, looking around him as if he was searching for the papers.
As the laughter died down and you tilted your head with a smile, looking at Ellen, she began talking again. "So, Harry, when you met Princess Y/N, it was during your tour, right? Can you tell us a bit about that day? Like, I'd be nervous if I were you."
Harry chuckled, nodding knowingly as he brought his fingers to his bottom lip, "I was nervous. I was very nervous. It was also a last minute thing so I wasn't mentally prepared for it or anything. My manager called me and he said," Harry made a phone sign with his thumb and pinky, raising his hand to his ear, "I got a call. Princess Y/N is attending the show." Harry laughed, you grinning as you heard the story, "And he hung up. I told the rest of the band and we all just, stood there for a few seconds," He put his hands in front of him. "And I looked at them and the only thing I said was," He furrowed his eyebrows and squinted his eyes, a playful smile on his face, "What just happened?"
You laughed, feeling your cheeks heat up and your heart fluttering as you heard your husband talk about the first night you properly met. Ellen laughed, pointing at him, "You've always loved her, right?"
"Absolutely," Harry answered instantly with a nod, putting his hand on his thigh, "I'd watch her on the TV or like, like online posts that talk about her. We met before though, when One Direction performed for the Royal Variety."
"Ah! That was, when?"
"They performed in 2012, we met back then, 2014 and back in 2015. I met him in 2012 and 2015. I didn't attend in 2014." You said, an ecxited smile on your face.
"I know that you've always been a fan, like, everyone knows it. But how was the meeting in 2012? You both were like, what? 18 at the time, is that right?" Ellen asked.
You nodded, "Yes, we were 18 and," You chuckled, shaking your head, "God, it was so embarrassing. I had this God awful fringe," You grazed your forehead, right above your eyebrows with the side of your knuckle, "And I was just too excited and nervous." You laughed, "I met them backstage and I had my brothers with me and I don't remember talking much."
Harry laughed, pointing at you, "We genuinely thought she didn't like us that much. She shook our hands and told us that it was a lovely performance and that was it."
You groaned jokingly before laughing, "I was nervous, have mercy."
"Speaking of that meeting, we have a picture of it." Ellen said, looking back at the screen as it showed a picture of you and the band, much younger. You were standing between your brothers,William and Har, who stood in the middle while Liam, Niall, Louis, Zayn and Harry stood on the other side of him.
You let your head fall into your hands, hearing everyone laugh at your reaction. You felt Harry's hand on your back, rubbing up and down in a gentle pace as he laughed. "You looked cute, love, look."
You pulled away, looking at the audience, "Is it gone?" You asked, seeing a girl nod at you.
"I mean, that was such a look," Ellen joked, "Harry in his iconic blazer and the, what do you call bangs, again?"
"Fringe." You answered with a laugh, shaking your head at her.
"I mean, the fringe worked because," She motioned towards you and Harry, "You're married now!"
At this, some from the audience screamed cheerfully, making everyone cheer and clap.
"It was definitely the fringe." Harry joked, looking at you.
"I saw the blazer and I was a goner." You went along, fanning yourself.
