'What's he doing here?'
Mine and Draco's laughter died as we looked up to see Harry standing by the hallway to the boy's dormitories.
"Oh uh, I let him in." I lied. I didn't want Harry to freak out over something that just wasn't that big of a deal. I had some trouble subsiding the laughter from my voice. The tension in the room had risen, but for some reason, I was still smiling about mine and Draco's awkward moment.
"Jealous, Potter?" Draco clenched his jaw and that's when all the humor left my body. I didn't like Draco like this, it reminded me of how he use to treat me. Now that I know him better, I know how he really is... it hurt seeing him throw his shield up at the sight of Harry. Harry didn't say anything, instead, they both just stared intently at one another.
"Draco? Harry and I had plans for today, do you mind if we talk later?" Malfoy nodded, obviously not wanting to upset me by fighting with him. Silently, he made his way out of the room while glaring at Harry. Once he left, Harry just stared at me plainly.
"Was he- in your room?"
"Again Harry, we're just friends... you can come in mine and Hermione's room whenever you like-" I quickly pondered over my words before speaking up again.
"Just- knock..." I said as I linked my arm in his and walked out of the common room. Today, I promised Harry that we would do whatever he wanted to make up for my absence lately. He chose to go out for lunch, so that's where we are headed now. For some odd reason, it slightly felt like a date, but I pushed that feeling aside, not wanting to ruin our time out together.

Harry and I sat at a table for two while waiting for our food to arrive. We were joking around just like old times, making fun of each other, laughing at dumb jokes and just having a good time. It honestly was a relief, I didn't realize how much I missed this. Harry and I use to be so close, Almost closer than Hermione and I. I practically lived with the Potters for a while. Just then, the waiter came by and set down two humongous glasses of butterbeer. We stared at each other, the same thought crossing through both of our minds. We both picked up our classes and began chugging the liquid. We were trying to see who could finish their drink faster. We use to do this all the time, everything was a race between us. Of course, Harry won, he always does. I rolled my eyes as I slowly started clapping my hands together jokingly. He mockingly bowed as if he just made the best achievement of his life. I couldn't help but snort as I laughed at him. Taking us both off guard, we looked over to see Blaise Zabini looming over our table.
"Be careful Potter, you don't want to get too attached to the slut." He spits as he spoke. My confidence faltered. How could someone who claimed to have the biggest crush on me, hate me so much for not feeling the same way? This guy was such an asshole.
"I think you should leave." Harry stood, bringing his face close to Blaise, his hand ready at his wand.
"Make me." He wasn't backing down. They both stood in tense silence. Why does this drama keep following me around? All I want is for everyone to be happy...
"Guys stop-"
"Shut your mouth mudblood!" Harry drew his wand as Zabini drew his matching Harry's stance.
"I'm a pureblood you-" My words died as I saw a dark figure appear between the two.
"Wands... Down..." Snape said, pointing his wand, mainly towards Blaise. Neither of them looked at him. They knew who it was by his voice alone. They put their wands away immediately.
"You-" Severus gestured to Zabini.
"I think Ms. (L/n) deserves an apology..." I couldn't stop staring, how is it that he is always there when things tend to go wrong? Did he follow Harry and I here today?
"Sorry..." Blaise muttered under his breath.
"Dueling in a public restaurant, putting your fellow classmates in danger and attempting to attack another student... fifty points... from... each. Now, Zabini, Potter... Dumbledore's office...Now." Snape's voice was intimidating, but for some reason hearing him talk that way didn't frighten me anymore. After the moment we shared together, it seemed to make me feel... differently...
"I'm sorry- Sir. But my friend here-" Harry began speaking politely as he possibly could, but Severus just interrupted him.
"I'm sure Ms. (L/n) Can handle herself. Now... go." The two boys left, Harry muttered a quick apology before doing so. Snape glanced at me as his eyes lingered over my frame, I couldn't read his expression. It bothered me that I didn't know what he was thinking. He looked as though he wanted to say something to me, but all he did was hesitate before he made he was out of the building. Well, now what do I do? I'm all alone... I grabbed my jacket and made my way out of the restaurant just a few minutes after the others. I began walking down the street, I guess I will just have to catch a trolly by myself. This seems strange. I've never been in town on my own before. It seems bigger almost, more intimidating on your own. As I passed by stores and houses I got this weird feeling that someone was following me. Suddenly I felt a hand clasp around mine, dragging me down an alleyway. My heart jumped in fear, until I looked ahead to see Professor Snape's black robe. My fear left instantly. He pulled me through a door, locked it and then softly pushed me against the wooden surface. It was cold... I think we were in an abandoned building.
"Is there anything going on between you and your friends?" He spoke so fast, it took me a while to comprehend his words.
"W-what?"
"Harry, Draco... Did I interrupt something by having feelings for you?" He asked again. He looked too worried and concerned I almost didn't know what to say. What is it with these men?
"No, they're just my friends. That's all. Trust me, I keep reminding them of that too." He loosened his grip on me as he let me step away from the wall. That was some intense interrogation, I thought as I rubbed my arms nervously.
"Good... Because what happened between us the other day... I don't want you to be with someone else in that way..." His words brought a smirk to my lips. I stepped closer to him as I began playing with his collar around his neck. He looked taken back by my actions which only made me smile more. I've never seen him react like this before... It was different but it brought me a new form of confidence I didn't know I could possess. I had him right where I wanted, not knowing what 'I' was gonna do.
"I don't want you to be with someone else in that way either..." I whispered in his ear as I let my expression turn cold, looking him in the eye to confirm that I was serious. I was gonna mess with him the same way he had with me for the last month.
"I would never dream of it..." He stated, he was out of breath by how close I was to him. I loved knowing I could make him feel like he didn't have any control. The same way he made me feel constantly when he was around. It felt nice to be the dominant one for once. I slowly brought my face close to his as if I was going to kiss him, but I didn't. I stopped moving just before we connected.
"Does that mean, you want to be like... my boyfriend?" I asked, letting my lips graze his as I spoke. He shivered. When he tried to kiss me I pulled away, teasing him. His eyes squinted as he grinned at me. He was enjoying this.
"I don't know? Will you be my ...girlfriend?" He said, teasing me with his words like I was him with my lips.
"You don't even need to ask." My grinned matched his as he pulled me into an embrace.
"So it's official?" He asked. I just nodded, rubbing my nose lightly against his.
"Wonderful, now shut up and kiss me." He said before pulling me into a deep kiss.
