You hurry to your own shower, making sure to lock the door this time, to ensure no unexpected visitors.
After your shower you pick out a pair of denim shorts, a grey button down tucking a corner into the shorts, and a pair of white trainers.
You put your hair into a loose pony, and keep your makeup simple, checking in the mirror one last time, then going down to meet Joonie in the living room.
"Oo are you going out? You look so cute" You blush at Tae's compliments.
"Yeah we are going to the zoo, it shou-"
"The zoo!!!" A yell comes from the kitchen, Hoseok, Jin, and Jimin come around the corner. " can we come too?
"Uh I don't-" You get cut off again.
"If they are going, I want to go tooo!" Tae whines.
Jungkook who has been listening to music takes a headphone out.
"What's going on?" He looks around very confused.
"We are going to the zoo apparently." Yoongi says finally showing the most adorable gummy smile.
"Guys I don't know if Namjoon meant ALL of us..." all of their faces fall. You look at each one of them your heart panging with guilt to see each pitiful face. And then there is Kookie, his lip pouted, looking ready to cry. These grown men pouting over the zoo. You roll your eyes.
"Okay, Okay." Mentally scolding yourself for becoming a softy, "I'll talk to Namjoon." They begin to cheer as Namjoon comes in startled by the noise level.
"What are they so happy about?" He asks you, apparently the only sane looking person in the room at the moment.
"They all want to go to the zoo too" You explain with a huff, the cheering is replaced by the same pouty faces they had given you. There's no way puppy eyes and frowns will wear down Namjoon he's gotta be used to it by now, you reason.
"Fine, get in the car." His words surprise you, your jaw drops.
"He just gives I like that?" You think.
I guess we are ALL going to the zoo. You know deep inside you are happy all of you are going.
"Ahh noona look at the baby polar bear!!!!!" Jungkook's cute voice calling out to you, jabbing a finger into the glass.
"No, come look at the penguins with me!!" Jimin pulls at your arm.
"(Y/N)-ah come here, the parrot is talking with me!" Hoseok squawks at the bird jokingly.
"Hey (Y/-"
"WHAT? What do you want from me?? I'm only one person!" You shout at the boys, not one of them in particular, just finally fed up getting pulled in seven directions all at once.
Seeing the shock in their faces you realized how abrupt your outburst had been. You're cheeks get hot with embarrassment that you lost your temper.
Tears well up in your eyes and you run.
The boys call after you begging you to wait all seven stunned by your shouting, but you ignore them.
You run, as fast and as far as you can, not paying any attention to where you are going. Tears streaming down your face you finally stop in what appears to be a large butterfly garden. A large shrub twice your height rises to the right of you, with a sign reading "Maze".
"Perfect, I'll take a little walk to collect myself, then I'll go back and find the guys." you think wiping away tears harshly, stepping in to the maze.
"Great. I'm actually lost." You regret ever stepping into the maze without paying attention to the map. Remembering you brought your phone, you pull it out clicking the screen on. Its littered with nearly 50 messages and 70 calls all from the boys asking you to come back. You remember how excited they got about coming to the zoo, and your tears start to flow again.
You did mean to lose your temper. but after everything. the whole move into a new house, the whole agreement, and the feeling of being pulled in seven different directions all the time, and not just today, has not been an easy adjustment.
You try to type through the waterfall of tears.

2:47Me: im so sorry i dfidnt mean it, im lost, i dont know how to get out of the maze. im sorry.
2:47 Yoongi: stay put, we are coming for you.
2:47 Namjoon: try to stay calm baby, we are on our way
2:48 Jin: Don't worry, were coming
2:48 Jimin: I'm so happy you're okay, we will be there in a little bit.
2:48 Hobi: Oh angel we were so worried about you. Coming right now
2:49 Tae: please stay there, we are the ones who should be sorry, please don't fret too much
2:50 Jungkookie: I'm sorry noona.. Please don't hate us.
Jungkooks text breaks your heart. You could never hate them, remembering how you shouted at them, you must have looked so mad... you feel a wrench in your throat, the guilt of lashing out.
You sit down and try to wait patiently, checking your phone every few seconds hoping to hear from one of the boys looking for you. Tears painting the pavement beneath you, desperately you wipe your face, trying to hide the fact that you had been crying. It was useless though, your eyes red and your cheeks wet with tears.
"(Y/N)?" A familiar deep voice makes you look in its direction, you scramble to your feet running to Taehyung, you hug him sobbing into his chest. He holds you tightly shushing you gently the way you would for a small child.
"Are you okay?" you nod sniffing looking up at him, his presence comforts you, the same way you had felt with Yoongi. It was peaceful.
"I'm so sorry Taehyung, you guys didn't do anything wrong, I don't know what got into me... I'm sorry I ran away"
"Shhh it's okay, we were really worried about you until you texted. We're just happy you're safe." His arms pulling you close once more. " Let's get you back to the rest of the group." his arm around your shoulder as he guides you gently.
"Tae?" He hums, "How did you find me so quickly?" You ask, as it had only been about 5 minutes
He gives a meager laugh.
"When I was younger, 15 or 16, I would come to the zoo to get away from the kids who were bullying me. I learned this maze inside and out so that I could come and hide from the reality, and get lost in my own little world." Tae's story makes you stop in your tracks. "It seems they haven't changed it all these years."
He looks confused for a second, before you throw your arms around him hugging him tighter.
"I'm so sorry Tae, thank you for finding me." You peck his cheek and then his lips holding the contact a little longer.
"Of course, any of the others would do the same, you just have to let us know when you need something, you're not just a sex toy to us. Okay?" He lifts your chin to look at him.
"Okay."
"Good, we're almost there, they should be waiting for us, ah yes there they are." As you turn the corner the six worry stricken men look up, relief clear on your face, the rush to you hugging you at once.
"I'm so sorry I ruined our nice day at the zoo, and I'm so sorry for shouting at you." Your guilty conscious lighting as you apologize.
The answer with a chorus of forgiveness.
You turn to Jungkook who was standing a bit out of the circle. You go to him putting your hands around his face wiping a tear that had just started to fall,
"I could never hate you, I promise. Okay?" He nods pulling you in both of you crying heavily on the others shoulder.
"I missed you noona."
"I missed you too, all of you, but If it's okay with you guys, I think we should go home. I want to make up for scaring you. If we could just stop by the market first?" Your tears finally starting to dry up returning to a more happy state. "We can come back some other time."
They agree and go back to the car, and you leave for the market.
You watch over boiling pots and chop vegetables furiously, to make up for your outburst earlier, you are making them a very nice dinner. On the menu tonight, Gomguk a slow simmering beef soup with oxtail, spring onion pancakes, kimchi, jeonbokjjim with abalone marinated in ganjang and cheongju, you also managed to pick up a few bottles of soju for the occasion.
One after another the guys come in, drawn by the delicious smells, trying to sneak tastes while your back is turned.
"That's for later!" you scold Joon, who is trying to sneak kimchi, rapping his wrist with a pair of chopsticks.
"Ah, but we are so hungry!" He whispers hugging around your waist trying to persuade you.
"Not yet, give me 15 more minutes." You wink, "Daddy." It is his day still after all.
He spanks you playfully and leaves you to your work. 5 more minutes and you are done.
GROUP CHAT
7:26 me: Dress nicely for dinner, and let's meet in the kitchen in 10 minutes.
They respond letting you know they will be there. With everything done you go up to your room to change into something nice.
"Omf sorry-" You were looking at your phone not paying attention to where you were going.
"It's okay, does this look alright?" Jimin asks stepping back waiting for your approval. And you nod giving him a reassuring smile.
"Looks great!" You call to him rushing past to your room realizing you only had 4 more minutes to change.
You pick out a sweet pink gingham dress that hugs your curves, you leave your hair in the loose pony and put on some more mascara.
Arriving back in the kitchen each of the boys are dressed smartly, and they look at you adoringly, but their faces quickly turn into confused as they scan down.
"Um (Y/N)... where are your shoes?" Hoseok is the first to speak.
"Follow me" You lead them out to the modern looking room, out through the doors that Baekhyun had left you through. You had remembered, whilst cooking, there was a greenhouse a little ways from the house. "I thought we could eat out here."
You open the door, the light of candles and faint music are a welcomed sight.
"Its beautiful, but why no shoes, I'm still confused?" Jin asks and the rest nod along with him.
"The floor is dirt in here," You explain," any heels would sink into the ground, so I decided bare feet would be best."
"Well it looks great, Namjoon says pecking you on the cheek and entering into the whimsical atmosphere.
You hold the door motioning for the rest to enter and they take Joon's lead, kissing your cheek before going in, until all that is left is Jin who motions for you to go before him.
"After you princess." he takes the door from you hands pecking your cheek just like the others had, but something about it made your heart flutter. He follows you in closing the door behind him.
The 8 of you sit around the pots of food on the large picnic blanket, and you dish out food to the members.
"You all are so nice to me," You feel your tears start to well up again, but they are happy tears this time. "Taehyung told me you don't see me as just a play thing, and I believe you. And that's not why I ran away. But I want you all to know that I'm happy here, you aren't just "masters" to me." You smile brightly through your tears.
"We will always be here to help you you just have to open up to us, we want to get to know you, as well as you can get to know us." Taehyung says repeating some of what he to you in the maze, to the group.
"Yea, and if you need any recovery time you can tell us too." Yoongi tells you with a wink and they all laugh at your giant sigh of relief.
The dinner is so nice, you get to know who each person is even more than you did before, learning the difference between the members on and off stage, seeing who has a soft spot for who.
Turns out they definitely all have a soft spot for you, they giggle when you mention that you would have loved to get a puppy but your apartment wouldn't allow it.
"-and then his pants fell down, onstage!" everyone is laughing so hard they are crying, except Jin, the subject of the hilarious story.
You are laughing so hard soju comes shooting out of your nose, thankfully everything important is out of the splash zone, and the boys laugh harder at you.
"Here let us help noona." Jungkook takes the largest pot from your hands and Jimin, Hoseok take the rest of the pots while Namjoon, Jin, Taehyung and Yoongi clean up the dishes and decorations, folding up the blanket in a way that you will need to refold later. You stand there feeling slightly useless.
"Please let me help with something." You plead, trying to take a few thing out of different hands but they turn away defensively.
"No jagiya, you worked so hard in the kitchen for us, let us do this for you," Jimin replies, "You should go up to bed, and get your rest. Its my day tomorrow. How does the fair sound?" His eyes squinting into adorable crescent moons.
"I can't wait," You squeal, suddenly rethinking what happened this morning with the zoo."- all of us or just you and me?"
"I already talked to the guys, it will just be us, don't worry." He puts your mind at ease. "Oh, and jagiya, text me when you wake up"
"Okay, goodnight Jimin," You kiss his lips and run to kiss the others goodnight before taking yourself to bed.
