The Tardis stops on Earth March 2020, it was a week after New Year's Day 2019 and we decided to go check out this event happening in March the 17th in 2020, the Doctor said it was a wonderful world event. People from all over were coming to see or stayed at home to watch, not just from counties there were some aliens according to the Doctor they were good and not out to cause trouble.
The event was the sighting of a new planet found back at the end of 2019. It had been found and called TrippleTain and after we had seen this event we were going to go to the planet to see what we could find out about it. Everyone was either in Times Square or at the London Event watching from a screen as well as Times Square's big screen and with multiple screens around people were also watching from their homes or around at pubs everyone was tuned in.
NASA had this big event going on and it was a global event but little did they know some aliens were here to see it too.
Apparently to the Doctor this planet was never supposed to have been found by NASA but it did somehow and we were going to figure out why.
We got out of the Tardis and headed to a spot not too crowded but also not empty in Edinburgh. Yaz, Ryan, Graham and myself were standing near these pretty big people and one man was wearing a suit but I sensed something was off and thought maybe they were not all so human but there were humans all around. I just knew something was off.
I heard laughter coming from the lady beside the man, as I watch the Doctor approach us as she went back to the Tardis to grab popcorn and biscuits.
I heard the woman laugh and say "Well this will be interesting to see, our plan has worked and no one can stop us not even that Doctor, he might have stopped our Family once upon a time from our plan but this time will be different", she laughed once more and farted. I turned my head to look at her and she caught sight of me, giving me a curious look.
I returned the look as I saw not just the man turning towards me but a couple of other people and the grins on their faces brightened and a fart escaped the man and the other lady with them, he said "Excuse me", and the other lady said "Oh why brother, no need to be excused" as she laughed and farted as well.
All this is happening and I'm confused more by the facial expressions with the smirks on their faces than the odd farting every so often.
I heard the sound off rustling from behind me, it was the Doctor arriving with the food. She smiled at me and stuck her tongue out "You know sometimes you're more of a child than anyone else", I laughed and she chuckled at this as well.
"Well J, no popcorn for you then, I see it's biscuits", A devilish smirk appears on her face.
"Oi I'm entitled to biscuits and popcorn", I pout, "Well then, here" she says as she shoves a custard cream my way knowing I don't like them, "Erm no Jammie Dodgers?", I asked. She shook her head and said "Someone ate them all", and I heard Yaz giggle, "Hey I was hungry" in protest.
Then I heard some weird sounds behind me again, more laughter from those people. It caught my attention as the farting and I thought oh yes they mentioned the Doctor so I should go check it out myself before getting anyone else involved. "Hey I'm just gonna go have a look around, I'll be right back", I smiled and jolted off before anyone could ask questions.
I made my way over to the people through the small crowds of people and one of the woman kept looking my way, watching me. As I approached her smirk became a frown as she caught sight of the fact I was coming in their direction.
My hearing is pretty good, as you can tell. I could hear her say as a whisper or so she thought was more of just a low voice than a whisper "I think that girl is coming our way. The one that was watching us a few moments ago brother", she says as he turns to look at me still smiling. He says though his teeth "Yes sister she very well is", and they farted again. As I got closer I could smell the horrible gases coming from them.
I got to them and stood next to the one the woman calls brother and I smelled something weird amongst the odour of their gas. It was intoxicating. It was disgusting. It was worse than the farts.
I accidentally blurted out "What is that smell?", and the so called brother said "Dear girl have you never had a fart in your life that happened to be a smelly one?". I didn't mean to but I burst out in laughter, I was absolutely crying at that comment.
I could feel eyes on me of his friends? family? and not only that I looked back over to where the Doctor was. She heard me and had Yaz, Ryan and Graham looking over at me, as my big grin disappeared I mouthed "sorry" to them. I turned back to the man watching me "Well yes. Okay everyone has, but that is not the smell of farts, there is an odour like death", I said in all seriously. I lifted an eyebrow as the expression I got back.
They all looked at each other then suddenly laughed. I turned around as even though their laugh was not loud like I was, the Doctor would have heard it. I turned to her and mouthed "Something is wrong with these people. They stink and keep farting", and her eyes squinted as I spoke and at the last part she dropped the popcorn, her eyes wide and I accidentally shouted "Doctor are you okay?".
She shouted back "Get away from them now", and as she said this I heard the deepest laugh directly behind me then a hand landed on my shoulder. I looked up to the guy and in a split second I was pulled away out of sight from the Doctor and the gang.
I ended up in some sort of office and I could hear those people speaking or things? Not all followed, only a few, the main brother and sister. As we got here two others were here, two other men and a woman. "She said Doctor he's here but we didn't see him", one said.
"It looked like she was directly speaking to the woman", the other said.
I heard a squeaky laugh "So the Doctor Regenerated", and he laughed again "And she must be a companion".
And then all of a sudden they turned to me, all of them.
"She won't ruin our plan, nor will this child", said the woman.
"Oi. Who you calling a child?", I spat, but got laughed at.
One by one they lifted their hands to their heads and started to unzip their heads. I gasped.
"Slitheen", I said and one stopped to speak "How do you know?", and I replied back "The smell from you all it's Slitheen your family I meet one of yous before it was a child one he spoke of his family most trapped on earth back in 2005 and some that went to find the rest of the family I'm guessing are you?", I said and one chuckled.
"Ahhh Craig. He had such a human name", I said and the woman stopped to look at me she got closer and the smell I never liked it, it always got me in the chest "How do you know my son?", she says and I told her "I just told you we met", and she shook her head.
"How, how? he's back on.. wait, did the Doctor take you?", and I shook my head.
"Nope he came to earth some time ago. He accidentally came back in time from the time when you came so he will be older now or at least he would have been", I said feeling sad for what happened to him.
"Would have been? How do you mean? How was he?", she asked.
I gulped and blinked looking past her and down to the floor. "I'm sorry, he was scared and didn't know how to get back. He accidentally drank some vinegar thinking it was juice and ended up spitting it out while running out of the cafe we were in and got ran over". A tear ran down my face he told me how bad his family was and how he didn't wanna be a part of it, he just wanted his mum home and for them to start over and to have a life away from the rest of the family. A tear started to roll down my cheek.
"LIES", She spat at me, accidentally actually spitting on me.
I shook my head and then we heard the door burst open.
"Well hello hi okay, so you have my friend here and no one messes with my friends my gang, my fam", the Doctor says with a big grin at the end.
She looks to me and to the one member of the Slitheen that got undressed? He was all alien green and stood with his long arms hanging by his side his head tilted to the right a little.
"Ahh Slitheen I sense. Hello again", The Doctor says putting her sonic back in her pocket.
"Doc what is that thing?" Ask Graham
"I'm Glad you asked, Well these are the Slitheen. Now that's not their species names, that's their family name.Their species are Raxacoricofallapatorius Some have a distant or rather strong smell between families. Well only some I never noticed before till I met one again after but it never bothered me. They are Living calcium bipeds and when they kill a human and steal their skin and are in the new skin they pass gas, as they call it the gas exchange", says the Doctor.
Graham's face was a picture. Ryan spoke first "So your telling me these things kill and steal humans skin, wear it and FART", he says raising his voice at fart and again I lost it and laughed.
"J this is no time to. Wait is that why you were laughing earlier?", The Doctor asks.
"Well no, yes, okay, yes, well yep. You see one told me that the smell was farts and have I never farted and had a smelly one before. I'm sorry it was the way he said it got me", I said and luckily I was not the only one that found that funny.
"YAZ", The Doctor raises her voice saying her name turning in her direction to tell her off as she started to laugh after what I said.
"Sorry Doctor it's just I'm with J there, that's Funny", she says shrugging.
The Doctor Rolls her eyes "And you call me childish" I had to hold my laughter in and then she turns back to the members of the family "So why are you here?", she asks.
"Well to see a great event", one laughs.
"Ahhh Doctor they said something about a plan and you not stopping them", I said trying to get out the ties I was in.
"So what's the plan?", I asked them, hoping they would answer and as I thought they stupidly did.
One laughed before speaking "We are going to blow up the planet", she laughs.
"Oh no your not, I stopped you before", says the Doctor and she laughed again.
"Oh no Doctor, you misunderstand. we are going to blow up the new planet in front of the global national", and they all laughed but the other woman was still grieving over her son.
"What? why? That would send parts burning into other planets, maybe even earth and the whole world might take that as a threat", the Doctor says.
"Exactly the point we will take over", it laughed and farted very loudly and long. Ryan shook his head holding his nose "Disgusting", he muttered.
"You can't, that's not fair. There could be life on that planet", says Yaz.
"Oh we know and there is. They seem to like the idea of humans finding their planet. They said if they contact them in any way that they would be glad to have contact. They are like humans, they found earth as earth found them. You see we made it all happen, NASA finding out about them, all part of the plan and yes we will make it look like earth attacked them then we will start WAR", it Smiled while farting again.
"So you want to destroy them for wanting to have contact?" Asks Ryan
"Ay that's just wrong, they haven't done anything", says Graham.
"Well you won't be able to stop us. Soon enough we will send the signal to our brother in our ship above their planet", it laughs.
"Oh okay then, well", says the Doctor clapping her hands "Well you release my friend here and we will be on our way", she says smiling.
"Doctor we can't do that..", says Yaz "Yes Doc, we can't that's not like you", Graham then Says Confused.
"I can't do anything, sorry", she says
"Wait, you can't just let the creatures on that planet die", protests Ryan
"Oh yes she can, we can and then we will destroy her and take over this forbidden planet", says the woman who had stopped being silent over her son.
"What, what what did, did I do?", I said stuttering.
"You could have saved my boy, stopped him from dying but you didn't. Why did he come here?", she said angry.
The Doctor and the rest of the gang look at me. So I explained to them what happened and told the woman "I had no control over what your son did", and then the Doctor took out her sonic and said "RUN", to us all as she Soniced me out.
"Where to Doc?", shouts Graham
"Tardis", shouts the Doctor. We all rush to the Tardis as now most of the Slitheens are chasing after us.
We get to the Tardis and the Doctor rushed to her console and muttered "Old girl don't let me down now" and put in her Coordinates and we were off in the vortex.
"So Doc, we ain't really gonna let that planet be destroyed?", says Graham and I smiled knowing where we were going.
"Oh no, never, not a chance Graham", The Doctor says with a great big grin.
We ended up on the Slitheen ship, the Doctor told us to stay in the Tardis and that we did. I watched from the screen as she went to disable the missiles and stop them from even deploying, the Slitheen was not happy. There was only one of them on the ship and the Doctor locked it in the other room that had some timer so it was timed that he would only get out when the planet viewing was done. The missiles on another note, we heard on the screen she told him if he tried to deploy them that they would never deploy but might instead blow the ship up. Once she was back in the Tardis we got back to earth just at the time we left to land and hear banging on the door.
"Doctor you can't stop this", one yelled and we all laughed.
Once the banging stopped the Doctor looked at her clock to the right of the console "They are getting ready", so we went back out, knowing they left.
We watched from the spot we were in before everything and we stood as some of the Slitheen got close to us back in the human skin "Ready to watch distraction?", The female said angry.
As we looked up to the screen as the red and green planet appears on screen. The awes and ooos from people around us were heard and there was a click click of a timer going "3...2...and 1", she looked up as nothing happened.
"WHAT?", she said looking up and back to her pocket watch hitting it off her leg "Stupid thing", she said.
"Don't blame the watch", says the Doctor.
She looks to us as her phone rings she answers it "WHAT? WHAT? HOW?", she looks to us.
"Well you see, the Doctor has a time machine. We got there before the time of the NASA screen countdown and well she disabled the missiles", I said.
"Prepare the teleporter to the ship brother", she says more angry. "We will go up and do it ourselves",
"Oh I wouldn't do that if I was you", The Doctor said "Just when you get there ask your other brother before you kill yourselves", she said looking to the lady who was clearly pissed and then back to the screen.
The Slitheen family member stormed off. Ryan and Graham laughed then Yaz, myself and the Doctor did as well.
"So Doc, the planet is safe right?", Graham asks curiously.
"Oh it will be yes, from them. Safe from others I'm not sure but we will check in on it, remember we are going to visit. Now watch the event", says The Doctor.
I smiled, thinking what a day. It was supposed to be chill. You always think you're having a chill day with the Doctor. Trust me it ain't and the one or two times you might expect an adventure like tomorrow it will be a quiet day or a boring adventure. Funny how the universe works or should I say the Tardis? Always where we need to be when we need to be, when she needs us and where she needs us to be good old Sexy. I smile and look back to the screen after looking towards the Doctor and smiling. What a day.
