-Y/N's POV-
We stood on top of yet another rooftop of an abandoned building, formulating a rescue plan.
Guren stood by the edge of the building with a small telescope in hand as he assessed the situation,
"This is a trap, this is a trap, this is clearly a very obvious trap thi-" Goshi was singing quietly to himself,
I looked up at Guren and saw he was close to losing his shit at Goshi,
"Only a fool could fall for such a trap, such an obvious, obvi-"
"If you don't shut the hell up right now, we'll use you as bait. You think I don't know this is a fucking trap?" Guren growled not turning around, silencing Goshi immediately,
"A-alright, I was just making sure." He stuttered,
Me, feeling bitter about the bullying I endured before, felt the need to stir a bit of shit,
"Hm, that doesn't sound like a bad idea, Guren." I said thoughtfully,
"Oh, come on, Y/N!" Goshi looked at me with wide eyes and I looked back at him innocently,
"Although, I have to say; I think Shinya and Mito's hair colours would especially appeal to them-" Shinya and Mito spun around at the mention of their names, "-Vampires are like humans, you know? If their food looks good they'll be more likely to eat it!"
"Woah, Y/N! I thought we were friends." Mito said in false alarm,
"Me too, Mito, me too." I said in fake disappointment,
Guren seemed thoughtful, "You're right that, doesn't sound like too bad of an idea actually; maybe if we offer a sacrifice, they'll release the hostages. Oh- and look they can all have one each."
"Right!" I agreed,
Mito rolled her eyes, "They're meant for each other, they even say the same things, cute."
"I agree, Mito-Chan. What a wicked couple! I hope you never have kids...the poor souls." Shinya jeered at us,
"Hey, are you jinxing us?" Guren raised an eyebrow,
"That really hurt my feelings, Shinya-Chan." I frowned,
"Don't Shinya-Chan me."
"No need to feel wronged, I did tell you this would happen, maybe if you didn't get loud when Guren's not around, we'd be offering Yuu instead." I tutted,
"EH?!" I heard Yuu yell but didn't have to turn to look to know Shinoa was now trying to hold him back,
"Ohoho, I see. So you want war?" Shinya smirked,
"I already have it," I gestured to below us with my head, "but thanks for the offer."
"Oh it wasn't an offer."
"Wait-" I said, feeling slightly intimidated by Shinya's menacing yet innocent smile,
"Can we please just get on with the plan." Goshi mumbled,
"I agree for once, get serious." Mito chipped in,
"Alright." Guren said loudly, to divert everyone's attention. The 3 squads grew silent and listened intently, "As stated multiple times, this is indeed a trap, in fact it looks as if they're waiting for us." Guren reported,
"They want us to attack first, huh?" Shinya started, "What's the objective of this mission?"
"To have no casualties." Guren stated bluntly,
"Is that all?" I eyed him dubiously,
"Well obviously rescue the hostages, but our job is to also keep the vampires here busy, the Shibuya main unit is preparing, we need to create enough time for them to reach Shinjuku; but with that in mind our main priority is for no one to die."
"Kureto's getting serious, huh?" Shinya muttered,
"So this is a decoy mission then?" Mito asked,
"Exactly." Guren answered, "The noble extermination missions are just phase one."
"Yoichi." Shinya gestured for Yoichi to come up, Yoichi came forward as he summoned his weapon,
Shinya also summoned his rifle, placing it on top of the ledge, hunching over and looked through the scope, "Oh, this doesn't look good at all." Shinya shook his head, "You said Crowley Eusford was here?"
"Yes; therefore my final decision will be made from this- we'll snipe from here to see how the progenitors react."
"In that case, Yoichi you take the fifth floor I'll have the fourth floor."
"Yes, sir." Green rings appeared around Yoichi's eye as he focused on the sight before him,
"We'll be on guard." Narumi announced as him and his group summoned their weapons,
"Us too." Shinoa's squad followed.
I was about to approach the ledge to help search for the nobles when Yoichi suddenly exclaimed, "I've spotted the vampire noble on the fifth floor. I just need the green light to shoot."
"You have it." Guren replied, and at that moment Yoichi fired sending a black bird, surrounded by green flames hurtling at top speed towards the fifth floor.
The loud explosion attracted the attention of the vampires below, there was a moment before Yoichi turned around looking disheartened, "Target missed."
"Even nobles have trouble dodging that, this guy did it with ease. I can see why the elite teams were wiped out." Shinya turned to address Guren,
"Yuu, it's the guy we fought before Shinjuku." Yoichi turned to Yuu,
"Really? He's ridiculously strong!" Yuu snatched the telescope from Guren, Guren seemed to be too deep in thought to react let alone scold him, "What are we going to do then? This guy is impossible to beat."
"Considering the objective, wouldn't the better option be to retreat?" I crossed my arms scrunching my eyebrows,
Yuu immediately kicked up a fuss, "No, we're going to save them, right Guren. We don't leave family behind; surely we can do something!"
"We have two options," Shinya began, "We can shoot all the hostages and run so they don't leak any intel during torture-"
"WHAT? NO! How cou-" Yuichiro began marching up to Shinya, Shinoa grabbed him,
"Yuu, calm down." She turned to Shinya, "What's the second option?"
"We separate the enemies and save the hostages. The one that'll have the most survivors goes without saying."
"We should go with the first option, it would be safer that way." Narumi stated,
"What? Even for the ones getting killed?" Yuu challenged, grabbing Narumi by the collar, I rolled my eyes,
"Think about the objective-"
"Fuck the objective and get real."
Narumi, gripped Yuu's wrists and tore his hands away from his collar, "No, you get real. I have friends among those hostages. You think this is easy for me?"
"They don't seem to be responding, they must be waiting for us to attack." I commented over the bickering boys,
"It's going to be hard defeating them if they're just waiting around for us like that," Mito stated walking next to me,
"Let's change locations before we discuss our course of action." Guren headed for the stairs that lead to the floors below and everyone followed.

We went the floor below and Shinya had already set himself up by a large hole in the wall,
"My squad will attack Crowley Eusford and his comrades as a distraction, Shinoa and Narumi's squads will rescue the hostages while in the meantime, you'll have 5 minutes. Once those 5 minutes are up you are to retreat immediately. Got it, Yuu?" Guren explained,
"Hmph." Yuu rolled his eyes immaturely before sticking out his tongue at Guren,
Guren raised an eyebrow before muttering to himself, "Brat."
"Easier said than done. Will you guys be alright?" Yuu asked,
"We'll be fighting while running we should be fine if nothing goes wrong, and if it goes really well we may be able to even kill them." Guren answered cockily,
"Ah, Guren, it won't go that well." Shinya piped up,
"How pessimistic." Guren glared at him,
"Not pessimistic, realistic." Shinya corrected him,
"Ok, the rest of you get ready."
"Yes, sir!" the two other squads saluted before walking away,
"Alright, Shinya budge up, I'm joining you." I said walking up to him and looking behind me, "Oh, try not to look up my skirt, Goshi." I smiled cheekily and nearly burst out laughing at how quickly Guren's head spun in his direction and the frightened expression on Goshi's face,
"Oh please, I wouldn't even dream of it." He seemed to address Guren more than he did me,
I summoned my rifle and situated myself next to Shinya, I looked into the scope causing indigo magic rings to appear by my right eye as I zoomed in to where the nobles were. As expected they were waiting; they seemed slightly perplexed by the situation but never the less they were expectant and waited patiently by the large hole in the wall, created by Yoichi's demon.
"Goshi can you make it seem as if around 200 men are attacking?" Guren queried,
Goshi fake chuckled, "Impossible, I'd have to get super close."
"Then get close," Guren replied,
Shinya laughed, "It was nice knowing you, Goshi,"
Goshi sighed, "If that's the case, you can have my porn magazines, Shinya. I know you like them as much as I do."
Shinya turned his head at him aggressively, "Hey-!"
"We start in a minute, everyone get ready." Guren said going downstairs as the others followed excluding me and Shinya,
"I can try and get rid of some of the vampires obstructing the way below." I offered shifting my focus,
"Perfect. Since the nobles are expecting another wave it's only polite of me to give it to them,"
"Absolutely." I agreed,
"Let's go." Shinya said,
We both pulled the triggers at the same time, signalling the start of the mission. I wasn't expecting Shinya's to hit considering the type of opponents we had so I watched as mine hit 5 vampires, "Great." I muttered to myself smiling and standing up to run after Shinya,
We all re-grouped before tailing Guren. He sliced through the vampires with ease as everyone else eliminated any vampires that got close. As we approached the Town hall building, Guren slowed to a stop,
"Goshi, are you ready?"
Goshi brought his smoking pipe to his lips and inhaled, he let out large billows of smoke clouds which later formed a large group of soldiers behind him, "They're in my range, let's go!" He confirmed,
Guren ran ahead of us as he quickly made his way to where the vampire nobles were situated, his speed was almost inhumane and I figured that was the work of his demon. I stayed behind Mito as I wasn't necessarily able to attack at the moment, I saw Shinya sneak off to back up Guren without the nobles knowing.
We continued running towards the main entrance of the town hall, nearly all of the hostages had successfully been rescued.
We all stopped running as we heard a loud crash from above us, we looked above us; Guren had thrown explosive fuda at the vampires to which he dodged before grabbing ahold of Guren's arm, Sayuri let out a large gasp, although Shinya quickly appeared, but I knew it was too early to breath a sigh of relief as the vampire looked too relaxed. Suddenly, he swung Guren by the arm and threw him into Shinya; the sheer force caused the wall they crashed into to crumble.
"Guren!" Sayuri and Shigure both cried, my eyes widened as my hand flew to my mouth in disbelief,
Mito began to run although Goshi put a hand out to stop her, "Don't we'll only drag them down." He warned her,
"Norito, they're in trouble we can't just leave them like that!" Mito yelled,
"I've got a plan just listen to me, ok?"
"What is it?" Mito said punching a vampire which came sprinting in our direction,
"We'll attempt to separate Crowley Eusford from his two retainers, maybe then Shinya and Guren will actually have a chance."
"We've only got 2 minutes." I stated,
Goshi looked around, "All the hostages have been freed, it's fine."
"Does that mean we'll be abandoning the '5 minute rule'" I raised my eyebrows,
"Seems like it." Goshi deadpanned, "Let's go."
