Rin's P.O.V.
As sensei finished his speech itachi and i stopped whispering back and forth.
"Alright genin ill be giving out the scores now" he says pulling out a scroll. He read the lowest scores heading up to the highest.
"In 2nd place...." at this everyone tenses waiting to see if itachi or I]myself as the top student.
"Itachi uchiha and in first Rinmaru Nara" sensei finishes closing the scroll
Everyones dead silent
"Dammit i lost the bet" someone says breaking the silence.
"Congrats" itachi says to me smiling a little
"You too" i say
"Ok ok lets announce your teammates now." Sensei says.
"Team 1........
Team 2.....
Team3......
Team 4.....
Team5 .....
And team 6 itachi uchiha,.... and ....
Team 7 rinmaru and....,....."
Itachi and i look at each other.
"Guess we wont be together" i say
"Well hang out whenever we can" itachi says
"Alright genin, thats all for today come back tomorrow to meet your senseis" sensei says smiling proudly
Everyone stands up and leaves to go on with their day.
"Want to get dango?" Itachi asks
"Sure" i say and start towards the dango shop
" actually i already have some" itachi says showing me his basket
"Oh alright where do you wanna go?" I ask
"Come on ill show you" he says
He and walk until we reach a little lake with a dock.
We sit at the edge of the dock with our feet dangling over.
"Hey rin..." itachi says
"Yeah" i reply
"Do you promise well always be friends?" Itachi asks
"Where's this coming from?" I ask now looking at him.
"Just promise" he says
"Of course i promise" i say taking his hand into mine.
"Thanks" he says with a small blush on his face.
"Nii-san!" I hear a little voice shout from behind us.
"Ah sasuke" itachi says standing up to let the young boy hug him.
"Whos that?" Sasuke asks
"Hi I'm Rinmaru" i say smiling
"I'm sasuke" he says still holding onto itachi.
"Itachi...." a monotone voice says
"Father" itachi reply's having no emotion on his face or in his voice.
"Whos this" Itachi's father asks
"Hello Uchiha-sama I am Rinmaru Nara" I say bowing and having the same face and voice as itachi.
"Are you Shikaku's daughter?" The head Uchiha asks
"Yes Uchiha-sama" i say looking at him.
"Itachi I didn't know you two were friends" the Uchiha says now looking at his son.
"Hai father, I apologize for not telling you" itachi replies still holding no emotion
"Nara-san I invite you and your family for dinner sometime" the elder Uchiha says
"Thank you Uchiha-sama, I will speak to my parents tonight and tell itachi tomorrow" I reply
"Very well, come sasuke lets leave them two alone for now" the Uchiha says walking away with sasuke.
I look at itachi and see itachi already staring at me
breaking into a small grin as he does. .
"Man he's kind've scary" i say
"Definitely" itachi tells me.
"Lets finish these dangos" itachi says sitting back down.
"Hai" I say plopping down beside him.
As we eat we talk and laugh about random things.
"I wish we could stay like this" itachi says smiling sadly at me
"How about each month on this day the 25 we meet here, with dangos just to have this time every once in awhile, oh right always at noon and if we don't show by 12:30 it means we cant make it " I say smiling at him.
"You promise?" He asks
"Ah so many promises, but yes I promise" I say still smiling at him.
"Alright" he says holding up his pinky
I grab it and
"I promise" itachi and I say together before laughing.
"Its getting late id better go" itachi says standing up
"Hai me too" I say also getting up with a sigh
"Ill see you tomorrow then" itachi says leaving
"How troublesome... he's going to get me killed one day" I say shaking my head well heading home.
