Her eyes slowly opened to meet her mother who smiled at her as she woke up. She smiled back and tried to raise herself from uncomfortable position but she felt a sharp pain on her back as she did so, making her yelped in pain.
"Don't move, Kouri. You don't want to stay in the hospital bed any more than this." Her mother said, pushing her daughter gently to the bed. Kouri pouted, accepting the fact that she had to lay her stomach flat to the bed for a few days.
"I cant believe this, on the first C-rank mission, and I already injured myself." Kouri chuckled, embarrassed with herself to suffer an injury during the mission.
"It was a B-rank mission, probably A-rank mission. You did a good job out there, my brave kitten." her mother praised, pushing a few strands of hair out of Kouri's face. She sweetly smiled at her mother.
"Has my friends visited me ?"
"Every chance they get, Kouri, especially your little boyfriend." her mother teased, rolling her eyebrows at her. Kouri frowned, thinking who could her 'boyfriend' be.
As if in cue, the door to her room opened from outside, revealing a raven-haired boy with his blue shirt and grey-white pants, a headband on his forehead.
She glanced over her mother to see her giving a knowing smile to her. She rolled her eyes.
"Mother!" Kouri exclaimed, knowing what her mother planned next.
"Oh! It's already time for my mission. Sasuke, can you take care of her until I come back ?" her mother said with a tone and walked towards the window.
"Get well soon, Kouri." she cheekily smiled before jumping out of the window. Kouri growled as she watched her mother flees, cursing to herself that she couldn't do anything in her current state.
"You woke up." she heard Sasuke's deep voice and she turned to look at him. Her frowned gone, replaced with a welcoming smile.
"Yeah. Just a few minutes ago." she said, her face turned red realizing she was in a weird position in front of Sasuke. It embarrassed her that she seemed vulnerable in front of him. Her body was exposed with only bandages wrapped around her body. Which means, her growing chest were exposed too.
"S-Sasuke, C-can you-"
"Hm ?" Sasuke answered, which made her shrinked more and her face into darker shades of red.
"Can you raise the blanket higher ?" she finally take the words out, averting her eyes from meeting Sasuke. Sasuke was confused at first but after looking for the blanket, he had seen the parts he wasn't supposed to. His eyes widened and his face were entirely in crimson. He quickly took the edge of the blanket and raised it higher onto Kouri, trying his best not to make any skin contact with her.
"T-Thank you." she thanked him, the both of them felt awkward for awhile.
Sasuke cleaned his throat, "S-So, how are you feeling ?" he asked, stuttered a little. She felt her blushes faded a little as she smiled.
"I'm doing great. A little rest and I should be like I used to." she grinned. She seemed so positive, which made his heart felt at ease.
"Do you want to eat the apple ?" Sasuke asked, pointing the apples on the sidetable with his eyes. Kouri followed his eyes and saw the delicious apple that has been sliced, probably by her mother.
"Sure." she said, but she didn't know how to sit up afterwards.
She felt like an electricity current had went through her body when Sasuke raised her from the bed. He had helped her to a sit up and she used all of her strength to not freak out by the skin contacts on both of her shoulders. She quickly covered herself with the blanket with her back being supported by Sasuke.
He used his leg to support her back, while his two hands were used to feed her the apples. They were so close, their body actually touched with each other. She was literally within his arms, with his arm went over her back while holding the plate, while his other hand held the apple in front of her.
"Here." he said as if nothing is happening in between them. She couldn't push him away since first, he was supporting her body from falling back, and second, she was holding the blanket from falling from her body.
With her face were all red, she opened her mouth and ate the apple. She munched slowly to stay calm.
She didn't know why she were so nervous. Was it that Sasuke had violated her comfort zone, or she actually liking it ? Her heart beats so fast she felt like fainting.
She just ate every slices he fed her. She turned to look at him to tell him that she had enough, but their face were approximately close. Their eyes met and their nose almost touches with each other.
Theyr heart both thumping on a same rhythms. Kouri actually stopped munching as her eyes fallen to the dark orbs of the Uchiha.
Liking her for so long, this was his dream since years ago. He knew he had liked her for so long and the day he dreamt had come.
He slowly leaned in and planted his lips onto her. They froze for awhile, taking in the softness of their lips together. Sasuke proceeds to move gently on her lips, which she did the same a few seconds later.
They didn't know how they did it. Their lips matched each other like pieces of puzzle matched together. Their lips moved passionately as if they had done for years. They just followed their instinct, and it resulting for Sasuke to taste the sweet flavor of the apple through Kouri's mouth.
They stopped kissing after that, their lips still lingers about before they pulled away, eyes wandering around each other. The sound of an apple being munched heard from Sasuke.
"It's delicious." he said, still looking into her eyes. Her cheekbones turned pink but she wasn't as nervous as before. She was just shy after what had encountered them.

Two weeks later, she finally recovered from her injury on her back. She sparred with her mother, going on mission with her team and fed the kittens behind their house.
She also had gone out alone with Sasuke from time to time in secret.
She didn't know his they got into a quite interesting relationship. It was him who would invite her to places and she didn't reject it, rather, she likes it when he did.
Most of the time, he would only rest himself on her lap, making her watch him training, or even spar with him. Sometimes, he treated her to the dango stall, without him had none of it since he dislikes sweets.
They didn't declare anything, and Kouri wouldn't have known since she was a little innocent about those kind of relationship. Sasuke just did what he wants, and when he wanted to lay on her lap, then he will do it.
Both of them didn't know the terms of 'boyfriend-girlfriend' thingy. All they knew that they liked each other and that's it.
Today, Sasuke had dragged her to somewhere without her knowing. He had blindfolded her towards the place. She trusted him, so he let he what he wants.
She felt something tickles her feet with she giggled a little. She held tightly on Sasuke's hand who pulled her gently without any force to it. He would pick her up if there were obstacles on the way, and she would exclaimed and slapped his shoulder for not telling her beforehand.
They finally stopped and Kouri felt tingles at the bottom of her stomach, couldn't wait to see where he had brought her to.
He then unfold her, and she finally revealed to the shiny day and surrounded by flowers around her. She gasped and looked around, the smile grew bigger on her.
"Sasuke! What is this ?!" she exclaimed, feeling so happy to be surrounded by flowers. Sasuke watched as her face brighten to the sight of the flower fields, and it had made his day.
"Here..." he fished for something in his pocket and took it out, a silver necklace with Uchiha crest hung on it. Her eyes widened, watching Sasuke raised it in front of her.
"For you." he said, his face looking calm. Strange, but a good strange. It wasn't everyday he had that kind of face, and only Kouri can make him make that kind of facial expression.
When her eyes brighten up, it even carved a smile on his lips, but it was subtle and Kouri was too happy to see it.
"For me ?" her eyes sparkles, grazing the crest with her fingers. Uchiha crest, an Uchiha gifting her the crest, what does that mean ? She didn't know, but she was too happy to think a lot about that.
"Let me wear it for you." Sasuke said and Kouri made a tiny claps before turning around. She felt his fingers ghostly went around her neck and seconds later, the necklace had been put on. She turned around, looking down to the necklace while holding it, still couldn't get enough of it.
"Sasuke.." she looked up to him, her cheeks turned red to the amount of smile she did. He smiled a little to see how bright she was.
She then leaned in to give a peck on his lips. The pecks turned a deep kiss, his hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her body closer to him.
They ended the kiss, staring at each other longingly. Her smiles was still attached while looking up to him who still pull her close. She tilted her head and looked at him with a smile spread on her face.
