SAM'S POV
I laid in the middle of the road, looking up at the stars. How could they think they could lie to me? Did they not know me? Someone was calling me, looking at my phone, I saw it was Damon. I wasn't answering it. If they think they could lie to me and get away with it, they were dead wrong. I will make them worry and stress. They are going to get payback for today.
I laid there when I heard someone walking. There isn't anyone who scares me so I continued laying there just looking at the stars. "Why aren't you out of Mystic Falls by now?" It was Elijah. I had to get a better hiding place. "I feel like making you brother suffer." He laughs a little bit. "And how is that? laying in the middle of the road?" I smiled still looking at the sky. "Eventually he will figure out that I haven't left. He will worry hisself to death that Mikael is on his way and will kill me. But since he wanted me to leave so badly, I am not leaving." He nodded. He laid next to me. "You do know that he and Damon have already figured this out?" I shook my head. He then asked "Will you sing for me?" Elijah loved when I sang to him. He gets upset or can't find a solution to a problem, he asks me to sing for him. He says it helps him think.
I get up and walk to my truck. I grab my guitar and walk to the side of the road. I start thinking. I strum a little and hum.
