today was the town funathlon and the relay race was starting soon I was just gonna sit out but 2 people I know and seen before needed a 3rd on there team so I filled in I was currently talking with the person from ages ago who pushed me into the lockers I learnt her name was Marissa when the other one who is also in the dance club who's name is Amy walked up to us "ok I signed us up and our team colour is pink" she told us as she handed out shirts and showing the baton "why pink" Marissa asked "because its an awesome colour" she stated making Marissa roll her eyes "I don't mind that colour" I said "thank you at least someone appreciates the colour choice" Amy exclaimed making Marissa give her a playful glare before turning to me "thanks again for filling in for Alice when she had the flu by the way"
"no problem happy to help," I said I then spotted my boyfriend and my friends across the park I turned to Marissa and Amy "I'll be right back I'm just gonna go say hi to my friends and my boyfriend" that's never gonna stop sounding weird "sure," Marissa said "see ya," Amy said I then walked over across the park to where everyone was "hey guys," I said as I walked up to them "Hey," Preston said "hey Bree," Hayley said as Brody and I hugged as I felt him kiss the top of my head before I heard a car and Calvin mumble 'oh no way' I saw a bunch of people that are pretty much a 50's gang hanging around a car did they time travel from the '50s or something "who's that," I asked "that's Ace and his crew" Calvin replied "who's Ace," Brody asked, "he only has the coolest car ever and he-"
"totally rebuilt the engine himself," both Hayley and Calvin said the last part with Hayley repeating information she herd before is it weird that I think that was couple goals Calvin gave her a look and everyone laughed before he started to walk away when Hayley said "hey where are you going the race starts soon" Hayley informed Calvin turned back to us "don't worry I'll be back" he walked away over to Ace and his crew "come on let's go get ready," Brody said taking my hand as we walked away and Sarah walked next to me "pink," she asked with a small smile referring to the pink shirt I had on my shoulder "I did not pick the colour," I told her
later on, I had caught up with Marissa and Amy and we were all wearing the designated team colour with Preston, Hayley, and Sarah on one team and Brody, Levi, and supposedly Calvin who still hadn't shown up was on another so Brody and Levi was short a runner Sarah walked back "hey guys get this apparently Calvin was seen pushing Ace's car into shop class" Sarah said ahh must've been Mick who saw him "looks like we're short a runner" Levi informed Brody as I glanced over at Marissa and Amy "it's ok to remember where here to have fun" Brody reassured "looks like your short a runner" I heard someone say I looked to see a guy in exercise gear that is in a very tacky colour "the names Bob Shoespike you can call me Shoespike I even brought my own baton what do you say can I run with you"
"that's mighty lucky I'm Levi this is my brother Brody" the guy only shook Brody and Levi's hands and just ignored us before we all split up and did a pre-show ritual thing before turning to the other three but this time Brody and Levi had a look I have never seen before "good luck guys and remember like Brody said we are all here to have fun," Sarah told everyone "yip whatever," Brody said rather coldly and walked off "your gonna eat our dust," Levi said pointing a finger harshly to everyone ok what the hell is going on this isn't like them at all
later everyone was lined up at either the start, the middle, or near the end when the race started I was waiting till it was my turn near the end and it was a little while but it was a long while cause Levi was trying to throw me off at the same time after a while the people who were at the middle came to view now I don't know what happened but I saw Preston covered in branches and leaves Marissa gave me the baton and I ran before anything could happen I ended up seeing Levi pushing some guy in a lake something is definitely up the results ended up with Levi's team being 1st
Hayley's team being 2nd and my team being third when Hayley and I crossed the finish line Brody and Levi mocked us but Brody was avoiding eye contact with me before they ran off and Marissa and Amy walked up to me "dude what the heck is up with your boyfriend and your friend" Marissa asked sounding slightly angered "I don't know but I'm gonna find out" I said before I walked up to Hayley Sarah and Preston "you guys know what's going on" I asked "that's what we're finding out" Preston replied before we all walked up to Brody and Levi "guys that were not cool" Preston exclaimed
"yeah what gives," I asked "and why are you guys being such jerks" Sarah added "because were winners" Brody coldly said again "and you guys are losers," Levi said making the hand gesture for loser somethings off suddenly Hayley turned into a trophy "Hayley" Preston exclaimed before he got turned into a trophy "Preston" Sarah exclaimed before she got turned into a trophy "Sarah" I exclaimed before I got turned into a trophy and Brody and Levi examined what happened to us "guys" "Levi Brody I can't move" Preston exclaimed "what happened to us" Sarah exclaimed "why are you guys so tall" I exclaimed "why are we trophies" Hayley exclaimed as everyone around us was turned into trophies except those who competed into the race and the team that one
"I turned them into trophies because their losers," Shoespike said before he shapeshifted into a monster making Brody and Levi shocked that's why we were trophies "and your friends will remain trophies forever unless you can beat me" Shoespike challenged "I can beat you," Brody said before he turned to Levi "and you too I'm stronger and smarter" he taunted "no way I can beat you and Shoespike any day," Levi said poking Brody's chest making him push Levi back as Shoespike stepped between them before things could get worse "easy their brothers you have to beat me not each other how about we have a race if you can beat me you have your friends back but if not I get your power star"
"your on," Levi said before him and Brody morphed into rangers and they went into the woods with a basher bot taking us with it and putting us on a table they were preparing for the race when Calvin came into veiw on the phone before he saw the monster and Brody and Levi and hid behind the table we were kept on "Calvin help us," Hayley said making Calvin notice us and stumble back suprised before he took a closer looked and realised it was only us "woah what happened to you guys" he asked "you werent here so that monster joined Brody and Levi's team when we lost to him we got turned into trophys" Preston explained "Shoespike had put Brody and Levi under a spell that made them crazy competitive" Sarah told him "you have to help them before there turned into trophys to" Hayley said "please hurry Cal your our only hope" I added he nodded in understandment as he stood off from everyone "maybe not on there own" he said getting everyones attention "but with me on there team theyve got a shot"
"Calvin" Brody exclaimed "woah another ranger fantastic now I can beat you all at once" Shoespike said as another basherbot showed up "you do know if I win I get your power stars right" Shoespike told him as he shot Brody and Levi a 'what have you done' look "and if we win we get our freinds back right" Levi said "deal but you'll never win" Shoespike said as Calvin morphed into a ranger and joined Brody and Levi and prepare to do a 4 legged race it was a bumby start but Calvin ended up getting Brody and Levi under control and the race continued with a few bumps and in the end Calvin Brody and Levi ended up winning making the spell wear off after they demorph and a basher bot ended up running in with us before we started glowing making the basher bot drop us and Preston ended up turning back first and Brody went up to Preston and checked if he was ok "Preston sorry about earlier we were under a spell" he told him as Sarah turned back and Levi check if she was ok "you ok" he asked "yeah" Sarah replied
then Hayley turned back and Calvin checked if she was ok "Hayley are you ok" Calvin asked "yeah" she replied as they hugged then I turned back and I was looking around confused what just happened "Brianna" I heard the only other person that calls me Brianna say "are you ok" he asked putting a hand on my back "did we win" I asked confused I think we well they did but I don't know Brody just smiled at me as we hugged before everyone helped each other up "uh you guys are sore winners" Shoespike complained "soon your just gonna be sore, It's morphin time power stars" Brody exclaimed as we got out our power stars and morphers "lock-in, ready, ninja spin" we morphed into rangers "ninja rangers fear no danger" we all said taking our final stances
"basher bots" Shoespike summoned some basherbots and we went in and fight off the basher bots 4-6 of the basher bots went after me I skilfully fight them off with a mix of throwing hits and kicks I punched and kicked through the number of basher bots then got out my ninja blaster and blasted most of the basher bots making them explode getting destroyed I regrouped with Preston and Calvin they got out their ninja blasters and blasted the basher bots around us while Hayley and Sarah did the same thing then we all regrouped with Brody and Levi who just defeated Shoespike a couple of moments later a purple beam shot down making a 30ft version of Shoespike "let us handle this one guy," Levi told us
"yeah we owe him one" Brody added "we'll join you if you need a hand" Calvin informed them "zord stars," Brody said "lock-in, activate, ninja spin" they summoned their zords and went to there zords and fight off Shoespike the fight started off smoothly until he started to gain more power and they started to struggle making us 5 summon our zords "Calvin a little help" Brody called over the nitro zord threw some spikes at Shoespike injuring him "let's finish this ninja fusion zord combine ninja spin" the zords combine into the fusion zord "ninja fusion zord ready, master mode ready" "uhh this is bogus" Shoespike exclaimed "lets thread on his shoe, ninja master blade activate," Brody said activating the master blade "ninja fusion zord master slash final attack" the zord sends a blast to Shoespike making him fall and explode and get destroyed "shows over ninjas win" Brody announced in victory
later we were back at the funathlon and I did check on Marissa and Amy and they were really confused so I just told them it was a long story that I could not explain Sarah was also checking around to see if all the trophies had turned back to people "ok I checked around and looks like all the trophies had turned back to people" Sarah informed us as we were walking up to her while Brody and I were hand in hand "I'm sorry about today guys it turns out Ace was all talk" Calvin apologised before turning to Hayley and taking her hand "and I never should've ditched you I hope you can forgive me" he said and Hayley smiled "we all make mistakes what matters is what you can do to correct them"
"like helping us in that race it was epic" Brody told him "you guys are the coolest freinds ever" Calvin said as we smiled before Brody let go of my hand and turned to me holding my upper arm "and I didnt say anything to you that I shouldntve said while I was under that spell did I" he asked concerned well technically he didnt say anything that was directed at me it was only at everyone "you didnt and even if you did I know you wouldntve meant it anyway" I explained to him it might not have seemed like it today but I do he smiled and placed his hand under my jaw and kissed my forehead and pulled me in a hug "you ok Sarah" I herd Levi ask I looked over and saw Sarah who looked like she could not contain her excitment again "I'm fine,I'm fine" she said high pitched everyone just chuckled at her then I herd Monty scream "Victor Victor where is he" then Victor emerged from the tank where the town masscott bubbles was making everyone laugh and me try not to laugh then I herd something shatter making me start laughing and everyone laugh harder
