I sat down on my bed after putting my bag down on the floor next to it.
I took my book out of my backpack and continued reading it.
Yeah I already saw the film first but the book has hidden things. Like parts that aren't in the movie! Or they change stuff.
Like in the book I'm reading, "To All The Boys I've Loved Before." By Jenny Han. I saw the movie on Netflix, but I just got the book and in the book it says Kitty is 9! But in the movie she's 11!
When I finish this book I plan on getting the sequel, "P.S. I still love you." And the conclusion book, "Always and forever Lara Jean."
Someone knocks on my door.
"Come in!" I exclaim.
My mom pops her head in.
"Dinner will be ready soon." She says
"What is it?" I ask not looking up from my book.
"Lasagna." She says
"Ah. Yes. The famous Pepper Potts lasagna my dad absolutely loves!" I exclaim.
Yes. My mother is Pepper Potts, and my father is Tony Stark.
"Is Peter coming?" She asks
I freeze.
Crap.
I forgot.
He's my boyfriend.
I didn't forget he was my boyfriend!
I just... forgot to tell everyone... that he was my boyfriend...
Being an Avenger means everyone's busy most of the time...
And being the youngest Avenger... life was also busy for me. With school and all that.
So... I never really had the time to tell them.
And yet I invited him to dinner with my family.
Everyone still thinks he's my best friend.
I have to tell them tonight.
"Yeah! He is!" I say looking at her.
She smiles.
"Ok! Gotta set up another place for him then." She says and pops back out into the hallway, and out of my room.
Once the door closes, I immediately stand up.
Crap.Crap.Crap.Crap.
HOW WILL THEY REACT?!
I MEAN. I AM DATING SPIDER-MAN!
WILL DAD NOT APPROVE?
WILL HE MAKE US BREAK UP?
SO.MANY.POSSIBILITIES.
I race out of my room and head down the elevator.
I got to the front and Peter was walking in.
I made sure to block out the cameras in the room so no one would be able to watch, or see us.
He runs up to me.
"Hey Babe." He says and means in to kiss me.
Then I push him into the closet.
I close the door behind me after looking around to see if anyone was there.
"Hey.. what's wrong?" He asks
"They don't know." I say
"They don't know what Love?" He asks
"About you... being my... boyfriend..." I say slowly.
His eyes widen.
"What?" He whisper yells
"Never had time to. I'm sorry..." I say while looking at my feet.
He hooks his finger underneath my chin and makes me look at him.
"Babe it's fine... we'll just have to tell them." He says
"I wish it was that easy." I say
He tilts his head in confusion.
Which was flipping adorable.
"When I was in 7th grade... I had a crush on a guy... and I made the mistake of telling them. They literally came for the guy, in their suits, in school, and interrogated him. Asked him if he liked me, what he felt for me, would he take care of me... yeah... it was crazy. And that was just a crush!" I say
"Well then... just have to find the right timing." He says
"Ok..." I sigh.
"Everything will be fine ok?" He says
"Ok." I say smiling.
Then I kiss him and he kisses back and wraps his arms around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck.
Then we pull away and walk out the closet.
I make sure no ones there and we walk out.
We walk up to my room and start doing our homework.
"Dinners ready!" Mom says through the speakers.
"Come on." I say and we clean up then head to the kitchen.
3rd Person POV
Earlier that day...
Tony POV
Everyone was sat in the meeting room waiting for me to discuss what I called them here for.
I cleared my throat and everyone looked at me.
"Today. We are here. With a very important mission." I say
"Is it Hydra again?" Steve asks
"No. It's about my daughter." I say
They all look at me in confusion.
"And the Kid. Peter." I say
"Oh no..." Nat says
"WE ARE GOING TO GET THEM TOGETHER!" I exclaim
"About time we had this talk!" Wanda says
"I kinda ship them..." Clint says
"They'd be cute together." Steve says
"I know! That's why we will get them together! You've all seen the way they look at each other!" I say
I hear agreements.
"What's the plan?" Sam asks
"We will ask them about their dating lives over dinner and hint towards one another that they should start dating! And if that doesn't work we stick them inside a room until they start liking each other and date." I say
"But what if... you know... birds and bees?" Bruce says
"We will monitor them if needed" I say
(That felt so weird to write.😖😂)
"Ok." They all say
I smile and nod.
"Dinners ready!" Pepper exclaims through the loud speaker.
"It's go time." I say
We all head to the dining room.
Your POV
Dad sits at the head of the table while mom sits next to him. Everyone gets in their regular seats, including Peter and I because he has dinner with us sometimes.
There was a lot of food.
That was necessary because there were a lot of us. And Thor. He gets hungry a lot. Even after eating 2 boxes of pop tarts, he is still very hungry.
I grab some lasagna and some mozzarella sticks.
Then we start eating.
"So. Y/n How was school?" Dad asks
"It was good. I aced my trigonometry test." I say
"That's my girl." He says smiling.
I smile back.
"What about you Parker?" He asked
"Good. Aced my chemistry test." He says
"Two very smart children... perfect for each other wouldn't you say?" Dad asks
"I guess..." Peter and I say at the same time looking at each other confusedly.
"So Y/n. What do you look for in a guy?" Wanda asks
Ok. That came out of nowhere.
"I don't know. Someone sweet, caring, funny, likes the same things I like.." I say slowly.
"Like Peter" Bucky says
"Yeah... I guess." I say
I look at Peter who was just as confused as I was.
"Do you have a girlfriend Peter?" Sam asks
"Y-No!" Peter says after I kick him under the table without anyone noticing.
"You and Y/n would be cute together. Don't ya think?" Steve asks
Everyone nods in agreement.
"I ship it." Clint says
I blink rapidly and just look at all of them in confusion.
"Ok. Why the heck do you keep asking us these dating questions?" I ask
"To put it bluntly. We want you two to start dating." Dad says
Peter and I look at him with wide eyes.
"Dad! I thought you were against me and dating! I also thought you said Peter was off limits." I say to him.
"And you said Y/n was off limits!" Peter says
"I changed my mind." He says
"Why do you want us dating? Remember that time in 7th grade with the guys I was crushing on?" I ask
"Yeah.... I remember." He says
"Why the sudden change?" I ask
"Because... you two are cute together and you guys look like you make each other happy so.. I thought I could move things along faster." He says making motions with his hands.
"Oh... ok." I say smiling.
"Actually... Peter and I are dating. We just forgot to tell you and we didn't know how you would react, plus we didn't know when to tell you." I say
"Oh! Ok then." Dad says and gels back to eating.
"Seriously? That's it?" I ask
"Well we had this whole plan that if you didn't get the hints we were going to shove you two into a room and not let you out until you started dating." Dad says
"What?!" Peter and I exclaim.
"Yeah... it's true." Bruce says
"No need to do that!" Peter exclaims.
"Take care of her, ok kid?" Dad says looking at Peter. Staring into his soul.
"Y-yes sir!" He exclaims
"Good." Dad says
Then we all go back to our normal talks and eating dinner.

Peter and I walk to the front door and stand outside.
"Well.. that went well!" I say laughing
"Yeah it did!" He says
"So... see ya at school?" I ask
"Yeah. See ya." He says as he walks away.
But before he got to his car I run up to him and he turns around.
I kiss him passionately and he's surprised at first but then melts into the kiss most immediately. He wraps his arms around my waist and I wrap my arms around his neck.
We stay there until we need air and break away.
"I love you." I say smiling
"I love you too." He says smiling
