SAM'S POV
I had just woke up, I laid in bed for a few seconds then got up and got in the shower. I was washing myself when I had heard a knock at the front door. Damn Vampire hearing. Damon was out with the sheriff and Stefan was at school. I got a towel wrapped around me and went to the door. My hair was soak. I opened the door and saw one of the friends I have mananged to make over the years. "Kol!" I threw my arms around his neck. "How have you been? It's so good to see you." He laughed. "I've been good. But I was wondering can you take a walk with me?" I looked down at myself. "yeah let me get some clothes on." I ran upstairs and put a pair of jeans and a tank top on. I didn't wear any shoes, I hated those pesky things.
I ran downstairs and he was standing in the foyer. I walked to the door and walked out after him. We headed to the woods before he said anything. "Do you still write music?" This caught me off guard. I nodded. He reached behind a tree. "How about I hear your latest?" I smile. Kol always knew that I couldn't always speak my feeling but it came out in my music. He handed me a guitar. I grabbed it and sat on a log. I began to strum the guitar. I began to sing.
