Part 2 to "Wait!"

It's been 2 years since I moved.
And that also means it's been officially 2 years since I became Peters girlfriend.
We've been FaceTiming and talking to each other almost everyday.
But today was the day.
I was going to move back to New York.
I was a sophomore when I moved so after 2 years I graduated high school and was now going to go to college.
Peter was going to go to NYU, so I went there too.
But the thing is...
Peter doesn't know any of this.
He thought I would be going to College in L.A.
THAT WAS A LIE.
My parents got me and apartment and they said they would pay rent so that I could focus on my studies.
I was all packed and ready to go.

I grab my backpack and my phone, then head downstairs.
My parents were downstairs waiting for me.
I get downstairs and we head to the car.
Then we started driving to the airport.

It was 6am and my flight was at 8 and it would take 5 hours to fly to Queens so it would be 1pm by the time I get there.
My parents drop me off at the drop off area and I grab all my luggage.
My parents hug me and I hug back.
"Stay safe ok honey?" Mom says
"Of course mom." I say
"We Love you." Dad says
"Love you too." I say smiling.
We hug one last time and then they get in the car and drive back to the house.
I grab my luggage and head inside.
I went through security and my ticket was in my backpack.
I haven't had breakfast yet so I went k a nearby IHOP in the airport and ate there.
I ordered a y/f/b/f and my favorite drink I like to have at breakfast.
After I ate I paid and went to where I give them my luggage to load it onto the plane.
Except my carry on suitcase and my backpack.
But everything else was already shipped there.
Then I went to my gate.
I sat down and played games and watched videos as I waited.

"Flight 82 to Queens, New York!" The man behind the counter exclaims.
I get up ticket and passport in hand and I get in the line.
When I finally get to the front of the line I hand my ticket and passport over and he checks it over then hands me back my passport and ticket.
I find my seat and sit down.
IT WAS A WINDOW SEAT! YES!
And the best part was... there wasn't a lot of people!
SO I GOT THE ROW TO MYSLEF!
That rarely happened.
I waited for the plane to get in the air then use my phone.
The plane finally took off after about 30 minutes.
I was chewing my gum already because I knew that my ears would pop due to the change in altitude.
Then I put my headphones on and listened to my Spotify playlist.
"Love me like you" by Little Mix was playing.
(I LOVE LITTLE MIX AND THEIR SONGS ESPECIALLY THIS ONE!)

I just looked out the window as the song played.
Then I pulled out y/f/b and started reading.
After about 30 minutes.I stopped reading and stopped playing the music.
I wanted to watch a movie.
So I watched a movie on my computer.
I watched Mamma Mia.
Then after that I watched Harry Potter (You can pick which movie!).
Then I fell asleep after pausing the movie.
I was asleep for about 40 minutes when the pilot announced something on the speakers.
"We will land in Queens, New York, in about 20 minutes." He says
I smile.
I was ready to see Peter again in person after 2 years.

The plane landed and after a few minutes I got off the plane with my stuff.
I went to go get my luggage and waited.
I finally got them and called an Uber to pick me up.
After about 20 minutes she came and I put my luggage in the trunk.
I got in and told her the address.
Then she drove there.
After a while we got to the building and I laid her and got my stuff.
I went inside to the counter and told them I was moving in and that my parents got me an apartment, they gave me the key and I went up the elevator.
I got out of the elevator and looked for the number.
I found it used the key and opened the door.
My parents had my stuff shipped over and it would come over tomorrow so I had nothing to sleep on.
BUT THATS WHY I BROUGHT A SLEEPING BAG.
I go to my room put all my stuff down and then decided to go to lunch.
I haven't eaten yet and it was already 2pm.
So I decided to go to Delmars.
Oh! I forgot to mention I lived 2 floors above Peters apartment.
I grabbed my backpack and headed down the elevator.
I got out and head to Delmars.
I've been there so many times I've memorized where it was.
After about 10 minutes I see the familiar store.
I head inside and make sure Peters not there just in case.
I don't see him anywhere so I walk up to the counter, not forgetting to grab 2 packs of gummy worms.
Mr Delmar comes out from the back and sees me.
"Y/n!" He exclaims and hugs me.
I hug back.
He pulls away.
"What are you doing back in Queens? And does Peter know?" He asks heading behind the counter.
"I'm going to College here. And no, Peter doesn't know, I want to surprise him later." I say smiling.
"Ok. The usual?" He asks
"You still remember?" I ask
"Of course!" He says asking the guys behind him to start making it.
"How's Delmars been?" I ask looking around the store, memories coming back to me.
"Business is booming!" He exclaims throwing his hands up in the air.
I smile knowing the place was doing great.
He hands me my sandwich and I pay him for the sandwich and the gummy bears.
"It was great seeing you again Mr. Delmar." I say and smile.
"Great to see you too Y/n! And don't worry, I won't tell Peter." He says winking.
I thank him and head back to the apartment.

It was now the day after my flight.
And today was the day I was going to surprise Peter.
I took a shower, changed into my clothes, ate breakfast, and brushed my teeth.
I grab my bag.

I went down 2 floors and went to Peters Apartment.
I remember him telling me he would still stay with Aunt May so she doesn't feel lonely.
I knocked on the door and waited.
The door and May looks at me.
She processed everything for a minute then a wide smile appears on her face.
She then says nothing but just hugs me.
"What are you doing here?!" She says
"I'm going to College here!" I say
"Come in!" She says and I go inside.
"Is Peter here?" I ask
"Yeah. He's still asleep." She says
"Can I go surprise him?" I ask
"YES!" She whisper yells.
We go to his room and she opens the door quietly.
I see a Peter sleeping peacefully.
I go next to him and May says something.
"Peter... wake up." She says quietly.
He just grumbles in response.
"Peter. Do you want breakfast?" She asks
He doesn't open his eyes but he replies.
"Yes please." He says
"Y/n do you want anything?" She asks
"No, thank you." I reply
"What?" Peter asks
"I said does Y/n want anything?" She asks
Peter opens his eyes slightly.
"No, thank you, I'm fine May." I say
Peters eyes open wide and he smiles widely too.
May gets all giddy and leaves the room.
"Y/N!" He exclaims and hugs me even though he's still on the side.

I hug him back.
"Hey Pete." I say giggling.
He pulls away and sits up.
"What are you doing here?" He asks smiling
"I'm going to College here!" I say
"REALLY?! WHERE?!" He exclaims
"NYU!" I exclaim
"WERE GOING TO COLLEGE TOGETHER!" He exclaims.
I laugh and nod.
"YAYYYYYYY!" He says getting up and running around the room.
I smile.
He runs out the room and keeps running around.
Until he goes to the bathroom.
Then he comes back to the room and hugs me again.
"I can't believe you're actually here." He says
I wrap my arms around his torso.
"Yup." I say
He pulls away and kisses me.
I kiss back.
It was amazing. We haven't kissed in 2 years.
We pull away and he goes down to eat breakfast.
I follow and May and I start talking.
I was glad to be back in Queens.
There will probably be a part 3.😂
