George's Pov:
We walked into the theatre and looked for a place to sit.
It was Paul, Paul and John's birds, John and Diana.
I could either sit by Paul or Diana...
I guess I'll choose Diana.
I took my jacket off and placed it beside me.
"Hello George."
I looked over and Diana was smiling at me.
"Hey," I replied.
Before we could say anything else the movie started playing.
I was so nervous.
Should I do the 'yawn trick' and put my arm around her?
No. We weren't even an 'item'. I couldn't do anything like that.
Diana then leaned forward and I saw John look at me behind her.
"Make a move!" He mouthed.
"I can't!" I mouthed back.
John shrugged and then forcefully started making out with his girl.
I rolled my eyes. I was disgusted.
That really ruined the mood for me to even try and make a move on Diana.

After the movie we all walked outside.
"Well, we're gonna head out," John said while nudging his girl.
"Yeah, us too. We're going back to her place. Will you walk Diana home George?" Paul asked.
"Uh, sure."
Paul took his bird's hand and they walked off. So did John.
It was just me and Diana now.
We were walking quietly.
It was very dark. The only light you could see were the few street lamps every block or so.
"So George," Diana said suddenly, "How's the band going?"
"Oh, it's great!" I replied.
"Paul ain't pushing you around too much?" She laughed.
I laughed too, "No."
Then it was quiet again.
"How is your...reading coming along? I always see you reading books" I said.
I am being so stupid. Books?!
"Well, it's pretty good. I only read when I have nothing better to do," she looked up at me and smiled a bit.
I blushed. It was a good thing it was dark out.
We then arrived outside her house.
"Well, see you later," Diana said.
"Bye," I replied.
She turned around and started to walk up her doorsteps.
"Wait!"
What am I doing?
She turned back around quickly.
"What!?" She said in the same tone.
"Uh...have a good night."
She smiled with a confused look on her face and finally went inside.
I started to walk home.
Have a good night?!, I thought to myself, how dumb can I be?
Maybe, Hey, I like you.
Do you want to go out sometime?
No it's, Have a good night...
God. I just blew my chances.
