Anne's POV
" What are you doing here ?" I asked looking at Virat who was in his brand new black matte Audi
" Offering you a ride ?" He replied
" I don't want it. Move!" I shouted
" Annss, it's 11pm and it is not safe here for you to walk alone " Virat explained as he stepped out of his car
" Don't call me that. It's only and only for Rohit to call me that & thanks for the offer but I can walk " I pushed him and walked ahead
" Stop being Stubborn, will you? For once , please!" Virat exaggerated
" I'm not being Stubborn, I'm being independent" I stated crossing hands over my chest
" This is not the time to be independent" Virat muttered
" Don't tell me what to do !" I spatted walking ahead
" Anne, listen please " Virat spoke softly
I turned back raising my eyebrow.
" It's 11 actually 11:22pm. It's dark. There is no one on the road. I know you house is a lane away but just let me drop you there. I'm not actually caring for you but I don't want something bad to happen to you , or infact anyone. Anne, understand. I know you hate me. We argue, we fight and what not but for once, let's hold it all back ? Please?" Virat explained
I walked into his car and made myself comfortable. I looked outside the window to see Virat still standing out.
" Are you going to stand out there the whole night?" I puzzled
He shook his head laughing and sat in the car.
He started driving as I kept glancing at him through the rear view mirror.
" I don't hate you" I whispered
" Really? We argue and fight all the time Anne !" Virat fake laughed
" I don't know why we did that but I don't hate you , that's all I know " I smiled
" And I also appreciate your accidental care for me " I laughed
" Okay? It was not accidental but yeah... What can I say ? " He joined me in my laughter
" Thanks Virat " I smiled as he stopped the car infront of my house
" For the first time, welcome " he giggled
" Anne?" He asked
" Would you like to join me for the breakfast tomorrow morning?" He questioned shyly
" Pick me up at 8 " I smiled handing him my card with my phone number.

" So what now?" I asked standing infront of his door
" I'm moving out" he spoke letting me in
" And you are telling me this now?" I exclaimed taking the water bottle and chugging it
" I know you would act up like this?!" He exaggerated
" Then how am I supposed to??" I asked
" I'm sorry Anns" he apologized
" No, you are not. You could have told me earlier. I thought we were friends" I started tearing up
" Anne, hey?! I didn't mean to it's just I know how it will affect on you. I didn't how to say this to you ?" He tried to explain
" Vee, are we even friends?" I asked crying
" Yes , ofcourse" he replied quickly
" Then , stay with me in my apartment. We can share, you can buy an house he-" I was cut off by Virat's lips
He pulled me in taking hold of my lips.
" Because you weren't shutting up " Virat smiled
I kissed him back this time tangling my hands in his hair. He snaked his arms around me making me feel warm. Turning the heat on.
" I've been waiting to do that for a long" I smiled
" So how was the wait like ?" He smirked
" Worth it " I laughed pulling him into other kiss
