Lets me see beyond
With eyes to see
And ears to breathe
I view everything through my peripheral vision
I'm afraid to say I've lost my mission
It's my idiosyncrasy
That leaves a peculiar taste on my tongue
It's apart of me
This anomaly of mine
Permanent and omniscient with time
A futuristic device of supernatural possibility
It hinders my ability
And enhances my abnormality
It's the complexity of sight
And difference in perspective
That spurs my introspection
And makes me so reflective
As this anomaly of mine
Is a blessing
And a curse
But I wonder what I'm missing
