Jaya's POV
I was randomly walking down the street looking at the aquatic sky above me.
It was a happy life for me but still it felt like something was missing.
It was 6 and the sun was going down, I smiled at how irony it is that whatever comes also goes back.
I sat the rock near the Sunset point. I took my phone and clicked a picture of the sunset. I just loved them.
" That's a good picture!" I heard someone say
" Thanks !" I replied tugging my lose strand of hair
" Mind if I take a seat ?" The boy asked
Wait?!! That is Abhishek Sharma. U-19 cricketer?!!! Omg?!!?
" Do you know me ?" He asked
" No " I replied quickly actually lied.
I didn't mean to but it just came out. I don't what happened???
" Thank god !" He whispered under his breath
" So , what brings you here ?" I asked
" Nothing, just a casual walk " he answered
" What about you? Miss...?" He trailed
" Jaya " I smiled
" What brings you here Jaya?" He asked
" Same reason" I replied
" Oh! I thought you were lost somewhere. I could see you smiling from Miles. That Rhymed ?!" He elated
" Yeah, it's just life is beautiful yet incomplete" I giggled
" Wanderer?" He questioned
" No , just wondering!" I said
" Life will always be incomplete. Nothing comes complete, its that we have to try to complete them " he explained
" You are philosopher in this ?" I asked smiling
" No, it's just I'm experiencing it " he looked down findling with his fingers
" Oh! Then your life sounds interesting" I said
" I'm a cricketer, life will always be interesting for me " he replied looking at me
" Oooooo" I fake cooed
" I never introduced myself, I'm Abhishek. Call me Abhay, I think you must have fallen for me until now " he smirked
" Hi, I'm Jaya. And no, I've not fallen for you. Until now..." I joked
" Well then you will soon " he smiled
" Let's see?" I replied
" Vaise, I'm a all-rounder so I'm an expert in everything" he said
" Oh wow, Vaise I'm a Pyschologist. I read people's mind. I know what exactly people think " I smirked
" Miss Pyschologist, tell me what is going on my mind?!" He challenged
" About a girl !" I replied
" Which one ?!" He asked
" The one sort in front of you " I giggled
" Maybe you are right !" He said
I looked at him for a moment until be spoke back
" She seems to be great adviser. She is A Narcissist" he smirked
" Narcissist sounds good on the boy in front of me " I pointed
" Me ?!? Oh no, I'm not a narcissist. I have never ever praised myself" he said innocently
" Really? You are a Sharma, I can't believe you " I replied
" Why ?! Sharma's are not bad " he answered
" They are not bad, they are born Narcissist" I giggled
" Don't underestimate the power of Sharma's " he added
" Well, yeah. Selectives are Narcissist" I giggled
" Miss Sarcasm. Enough now " he warned
" Okay, that was not sarcasm " I replied
" Ofc it was. Sharma's are India's pride " abhishek said
" India's pride?!!! What the hell?!!" I laughed
" I'm India's pride" he said
" Ohhhh, yes. Mr. Cricketer " I nodded smiling
" your smile. It's beautiful" he whispered
" Thanks" I looked down shyly
" Abhishek, do you often talk to strangers?" I asked
" No but this one in front of me is attractive" he winked
I giggled at his comment. Cheesy af
" Now don't tell me that this was cheesy because then we'd make a unique combination" he said and I looked at him confused.
Unique combination?!
" Unique combination of Cheesy and Sweet " he laughed
" Oh god! Abhishek your cheesiness is terrible" I giggled
" Excuse me?! My cheesiness is my shasan" he enacted the Bahubali
" Areee baapre, yeh toh alag level ka hi swaggg he " I laughed
He laughed with me.
I didn't realise when evening turned into night until my brother decided to ring me up asking where I am.
It was past 8 , I bid adieu Abhishek.
" Jaya? I think I lost my phone? Can you just ring me up?" He asked
" ABHISHEK, you can ask for my number" I replied taking out his phone from his pocket
" Ayeee, how did you know?!!" He asked
" I'm not a Sharma but I'm a Smarty" I smirked entering my number
I handed him the phone back and we started walking to home.
I turned around and said
" Hoping to catch you soon, Sharma "
He smiled at me nodding.
And this is how two strangers
entered each other's life
completing it
