Walking in on my little sister kissing some guy wasn't what I was expecting.
"So, I thought you said you were alone?" I ask twirling my keys around my finger with an eyebrow raised at my sister.
They broke away faster than a light turning on and she trips over her own feet before the guy quickly catches her by her waist.
"Oh, hey Leah." She says nervously as he lets her go when she's steady.
"Yeah, don't 'hey Leah' me." I say with a little laugh. I turn to face Cody. "You can head up to my room. Second door on the right, I'll be up in a bit." He walks between Aly and the mystery guy and runs up the stairs.
"So?" I say dragging out the O. "Who's the dude?"
"Right. Uhm Leah, this is my boyfriend Blake. Blake this is my sister Kaeleah."
Blake has a white complexion, brown slightly curly hair, light brown green eyes, and can't be more than 5'7".
"Hey." I say awkwardly.
"Hello." he says equally as awkward.
"So where's everyone? All the cars are in the drive." I say walking to the kitchen.
The distance from the front door to the kitchen is unbelievable.
"Someone picked up Jay, and our dads went with two of their friends." She says sitting on the counter, while I move to stand next to her.
"Do you know when they'll be back?"
"No clue."
"So does anyone know about him?" I say gesturing to Blake.
"Only Zarriah, Jaeanna, and now you."
"And my friend Cody"
"Nahh, Cody knew for a while."
"How would he know and I don't?" I ask looking at my sister.
"Cody and I are pretty close." She says.
"How long have you two been together?"
"About a month." She says shrugging.
"You've kept him hidden for that long?"
"Well yeah, Jay would most likely try to kill my boyfriend. Kale would help out or do the same, and our dads, I don't even want to imagine. To them I'm still a little girl."
"They're gonna find out someday. So why didn't you tell me?" I ask genuinely curious.
"Yeah, someday. And because I don't want to feel bad." She says. Now I'm more confused.
"Feel bad about what?"
"I have a boyfriend, and you don't. And I'm your little sister. That's kind of embarrassing.."
"Well that's kinda mean." I say frowning slightly.
"Sorry, but Leah, it's kind of true. When's the last time you've had a boyfriend?"
"Well, never I guess. But I don't have boyfriends, I have flings."
"Is that so? Then when's the last time you hooked up with someone?"
"I am not talking about my sex life with my little sister." I say scrunching up my nose in disgust. "So, I'm leaving. Umh, you two have fun, but not too much fun. I don't wanna be an auntie yet." I say winking at Aly as her jaw drops at my words and Blake's eyes widen.
"LEAH!" She yells.
I walk into my room and see Cody standing by my bookshelf.
"Whatcha doing?" I say from behind him.
I'm guessing I scared him, because he jumped slightly and gave me a death glare.
"A little heads up next time?" He says running his hand down his face while letting out a breath.
"Awh, did little Cody wody get scared?" I say in a baby voice and laugh when he gives me a scowl.
"Shut up Leah." He says as I take a seat on my desk chair and start spinning.
"You were a cheerleader? And a dancer? And you did pageants?" He says holding up three of my old trophies.
"Yeah. Not like I really wanted to."
"Then why did you?"
"My mom. She was the type to want her daughter to be all girly and whatever."
"I see you crushed her dreams." He says holding up a football trophy. "What sport did you not play? You have like every damn sport trophy there is."
"Well, I'm a sporty kid, but I didn't do tennis. Tennis bores me." I say and open my laptop to check my Tumblr.
"What're your favorite sports?" He asks still looking at the knacks on my bookshelf.
"Football and soccer." I say simply.
"This doesn't surprise me." Cody says and I turn around and laugh. He's holding up one of those teen magazines with One Direction on the cover. I have a lot of those kinds of magazines.
"Well it shouldn't." I say and turn back around.
"Why are none of their posters on your walls?" He asks and lays on my bed. I unplug my laptop from it's charger and sit with him on the bed.
"Cause I don't wanna hang them up and ruin the whole magazine. And the staple holes make me sad." The only thing I have hanging around my room are pictures of me with the boys, the team, Jay, Kael, Aly, my dads, and some family.. There are a lot of pictures.
"Can I see your closet?" He asks randomly.
I burst out laughing immediately. "Why do you wanna see my closet?" I ask.
"Because clothes tell a lot about a person." He says shrugging.
"You just wanna see my bras and panties." I say smirking.
"I'd rather see them on you" He says winking.
"Oh, you will." I say straddling him and wrap my arms around his neck. I get close to his face making it seem like I'm going to kiss him then whisper in his ear "In your dreams." I climb off of him and walk towards my closet.
"Talk about boner killer." He says muttering under his breath. I don't think I was meant to hear that, but I did, and it makes me laugh a little.
"Ta-Da!" I say and open the door.
He walks in and looks around. After a while he stops and looks at me. "By looking at your clothes, it seems like you're a simple sporty girl." He says shrugging.
"And you couldn't have figured that out by just talking to me?
"No, because you said and I quote 'I don't like you', and 'Leave me the hell alone.' " He says with a high pitched tone.
"Well that was before I got to kinda know you" I say laughing.
We go back to my bed and Cody lays down close to the wall, and I lay my head on his stomach. We talk about everything and nothing, which is very comforting.
I guess we both fell asleep at one point, because my phone ringing wakes me up. I pick it up from beside me and answer it.
"Hello?" I ask sleepily. I can't even tell what time it is because my curtains are closed.
"Kae! What are you doing?" I recognize the voice as Tyler.
"Laying down wishing I was still asleep." I say running my hand down my face.
"Well, wake up!" he shouts.
"Why?" I ask dragging out the Y.
"What time is it?" Cody asks sitting up rubbing his eyes. I totally forgot he was here.
"Cause! We're gonna..." He stops in the middle of his sentence "Who are you with?" He asks.
"I'm just with Cody, what were you saying?" I ask yawning.
"Why are you with Cody? What are you doing? Is it just you two? Where are you? Did he hurt you?" Tyler asks question after question.
"Tyler! Shut the fuck up, what do you want?" I ask annoyed.
"Oh. Oh, yeah! We're gonna party tonight, so wake up and get dressed!" He says.
"Ty, you know I feel about parties." I say getting off my bed to stretch.
"I know, but you even said yourself you're gonna party with us a couple of times since it's senior year. You pinky swore Kae." Damn pinky swears.
"Fine, fine. Where and what time?" I walk into my closet trying to figure out what I'm going to wear.
"As soon as possible at Chassidy's house. You know where it is." I only know because of the countless times I've had to pick people up from there after they got drunk off their ass.
"I'll be there." I say and lock my phone putting it in my back pocket.
"Where are you going?" Cody asks from behind me.
"WE, are going to a party." I say.
"Whose party?"
"Chassidy Moreno." I say still surveying my clothes. What the heck am I supposed to wear? I don't go to these kind of things!
"Oh, I was going anyways." He says walking out of my closet.
10 Minutes later, I finally settle with a pair of dark blue shorts, a black v neck, a dark blue cardigan, a brown belt, and a pair of black gladiator sandals.
I lay my clothes on my bed and turn to Cody. "So you can leave my room now, umh. There's enough food in the kitchen if there's ever a zombie apocalypse, we have a theatre room, household gym, game room, household dance studio, there's a pool in the back. Run wild. Or you can go home." I say and push him out my door.
I run into the shower and do all the necessary shower things. I change into the outfit I picked out, and start blow drying my hair. I straighten it after that then put on a bit of make-up. Black eyeliner, mascara, some eye shadow, and some lip balm.
By the time I'm done with that it's already 7:30. Damn, how long did Cody and I sleep?
I unplug my phone from it's charger and go downstairs.
I find Cody in the game room with Aly and Blake. They're playing MK, and by the looks of it, Cody lost....To my sister.
"Pay up Cody, we made a bet." Aly says holding out her hand.
"No, I don't want to pay you." He says crossing his arms.
I look over at Blake and see him trying not to smile.
"You better pay me."
"And if I don't?" He says smirking.
"I'll take Kaeleah's truck and pin you against a wall with it then get out onto the hood and take all your money while I laugh at how you're pinned between a wall and her truck." She says while leaning closer to him.
I laugh a bit too hard that both Blake and I had to cover our mouths. After I pull Cody by his sleeve. "Let's go loser, we have a party to attend." I say and we leave the room. "So you and my sister?" I ask raising an eyebrow.
"We're pretty close as you can see by how she threatened to trap me between your truck and a random wall." He says.
"Are you gonna pay her?" I unlock my doors and climb in.
"Nahh, but she'll probably go through my room and take the money I owe her." He says with a small laugh.
"That's my sister for you, taking what's hers." I laugh while backing out of the driveway and start making my way to forbidden territory.

We arrive half an hour later and park down the street. You can hear the music blaring even from down here.
Red solo cups and beer cans litter the front lawn. We walk through the doors and immediately the smell of alcohol and sweat hit my senses.
"Leah!"
I turn to my right and see Tyler coming out of the kitchen and puts his arm around me.
"So why am I here?" I ask as he leads me upstairs.
"Cause, you pinky swore." We walk into a room and I see Jay, Ryan, Lance, Austin, Jose, Chassidy, Austin, Cody, Elaina, and about five other people I don't personally know, but seen around school.
"Hey sis." Jay says raising her cup to me. I nod at her and sit against the bed.
"So is everyone in this room playing?" Elaina asks.
"What're we playing?" Cody asks.
"Never have I ever." Chassidy says.
"Yeah, everyone's playing." Tyler says.
"Everyone but Kaeleah." I say standing up.
"Come on Anderson, just one game." Lance says, his words slurring already.
"No. I'm going downstairs. Have fun everyone." I say and leave the room.
I don't come to parties, so I have absolutely no idea what to do.
I go into the kitchen to find myself something to drink. The fridge is full of alcohol, the coolers are too, and the cabinet only has snacks. Seriously, where do teens even get all their alcohol from?
I walk outside to the back of her house and take a seat on her swing set.
"Hey." I look up and see a boy standing in front of me.
"Hey." I reply back wearily.
He notices my uneasiness and smiles at me.
"Don't worry, I'm not a weirdo." He says sitting on the swing next to me. "Why are you out here?" He asks looking at me.
"I don't do parties." I merely state and look at him. I take in all his basic features. Dark brown eyes, brown hair, tan skin. "You remind me of someone."
"I remind a lot of people of a lot of people." He says shrugging.
"I've never seen you around." I say.
"Yeah, I'm new."
"What grade are you?" I ask.
"I'm a junior."
"What's your name?" I ask
"Avery."
"Well Avery, I'm Kaeleah." I say and we shake hands.
"Yeah, I know who you are. Captain of the football team, star quarterback." He says looking straight ahead.
"Do you plan on playing?" I ask.
"Yeah." Great, another new student.
"What position?"
"Umh, I play any position actually."
"When do you start school?"
"Monday."
"Here, give me your phone." He hands it to me, so I input my number and send myself a text. "Here, if you ever need me, my number's there."
"Kae!" I turn towards the voice and Ray's standing on the patio calling me over.
"That's my cue. See you around Avery." I say and salute him before walking away.
"Whatcha need?" I ask when I reach him.
"We were looking for you. Come on." He takes my hand and we walk to the kitchen.
"If you two are gonna have sex, there are rooms upstairs you know." I say to Elaina and Cody who are making out against the fridge.
"Why? Are you jealous?" She asks with a smirk.
"Nope, I just don't wanna watch porn in real life." I say and her smirk quickly turns to a scowl.
"You always have a smart ass comeback for everything, don't you?" Cody asks smiling at me.
"It's what I do." I say with a shrug and a small smile makes it's way to my face.
"Whore." Elaina mutters.
"Says the girl who was just about to fuck in the middle of a kitchen. This isn't porn."
"At least I didn't fuck every guy on the football team." She says and crosses her arms over her chest. She gives me a challenging look and I smile back at her.
"As if. At least I didn't fuck every guy who walks through the doors of the school."
"Ok! What do you wanna do troublemaker? The party's getting boring." Tyler says.
"Let's go to the park!" I announce happily "You know the one in that very fancy place that's like several miles away?"
"But isn't that park gated and locked at night?" Chassidy asks.
"Okay, for one you're not invited. Not even you" I say and point to her and Elaina. They just huff in response. "But to answer your question, yeah it is. We aren't called the troublemakers for nothing."
"Troublemakers?" Lance asks confused.
"Yup. You can find Jay, Dev, Ray, Ryan, Jose, Tyler and myself in the office everyday."
"Why?" Cody asks.
"Let's just say, we are the naughtiest kids in school." Jose says shaking his head.
"I have a plan for sometime this week." I say and rub my hands together evilly.
"Yeah, don't do that." Tyler says laughing.
"So are we going to the park or not?" I ask the people around me, well besides Chassidy and Elaina. I get a chorus of Yeahs. "So what are we waiting for? Let's go!" I say and start walking out the door.
We as in Tyler, Ryan, Ray, Austin, Cody, Jay, Lance and I start walking down the street when I realize something. "Wait, how did everyone get here?" I ask. I don't want anyone leaving their cars here.
"Me, Ty, Ryan, and Ray cane with Dev, but he left early cause Drea was sick." Jay says.
"Me and Austin got picked up." Lance says.
"Yeah, and Cody came with me, so let's go." We continue walking until we get to my truck. "Okay, so three of you have to sit in the back, or sit on laps." I say and unlock the doors.
Jay called shotgun, so it's her and I in the front. Cody on Austin, Tyler on Ryan, Lance on Ray, and Jose next to the window.

Two and a half hours later, we finally get to the park. What could've been and hour and a half drive got extended, because these people got hungry. Fat shits.
We approach the gates and I look around.
"What's she doing?" I hear Austin ask.
"Scoping the area. Analyzing it." Ryan says.
"Ohh, why?"
"Just wait."
I turn around and look at everyone then look back at the gates. It's one of those iron gate things.
"Ok, well looking around, there's bushes on the sides surrounding the whole area. There's no way any of us could fit through the spaces. Our best bet is using the bushes to get over. Got it?" I say and turn back around.
"Now I understand." Austin says.
"Understood. Let's go." Jose says. He's first to climb over followed by everyone else.
"You're bad ass." Lance says and runs up to the castle looking play thing.
"You have a gift." Austin says laughing.
"No, I just use my brain." I say laughing. He runs up to the castle thing too.
"Are there guards around?" Cody asks.
I look at him and smirk. "That's what makes it fun." I say and run toward the slide part of the castle.
This playground is the best. It's a big castle with slides, tunnels, a ball pit, a small trampoline, slides, ladders, stairs, and games everywhere like tic-tac-toe.
"Hey! I need a picture of this!" I yell so everyone can hear me. They all gathered around. "So I'm gonna fix this so I can get a good picture of all of us." I run down the small stairs and put my phone on a bench nearby and positioned my phone so I can see everyone and get some of our surroundings. I set the timer to 15 seconds so I can run up and get in on time. I get onto place and pose. The flash goes off and everyone disperses.
Ryan follows me down to get my phone.
"It's such a nice picture." I say laughing. We made the weirdest faces and it's so cute.
"Can I talk to you?" Ryan asks.
"Yeah, sure," We sit on the bench and just watch everyone play like five year olds. With all the yelling we were doing I'm surprised security hasn't come by.
"So, I wanted to tell you that I like-" His sentence gets cut off by someone yelling hey and the flash of a flashlight. I quickly grab Ryan's hand and run up to the castle. "Hide!" I yell loud enough for everyone to hear me. We all ended up in the biggest tunnel at the top of the castle. Great minds think alike.
"Okay Ms.Breaking and Entering, how are we getting out of this." Austin asks. I shush him and move around so I can get out of the tunnel. I move to the big slides and look around. I go back through the tunnel and go to the other side.
I go to the fireman pole and look down. I lay on my stomach and look under me. I go to the stairs and walk down a little and look around again. I go back to the tunnel.
"Ty, you still know how to pick locks with a bobby pin in under five seconds?" I whisper. He nods at me.
"Okay. Here's the plan. There's three ways of exiting. The slides, the fireman pole, and the stairs. Ty you're gonna have to go down the stairs pick the lock that holds those thin chains together and remove them. I'm gonna run to my truck after that and unlock the doors for an easy get away. Then I'll text one of-"
"How do we know you're not gonna just leave us?" Austin asks cutting me off.
"Cause she's not that type of person."Ryan snaps back in a whisper.
"Continuing. I'll text one of you and give you the go to run when I put my car in the right position. Ok?" They all nod. I take a bobby pin out of my hair releasing a strand I pinned back before we got here and give it to Tyler.
He goes down and does what I instructed. I run out, him following behind me.
We get to my truck and I use my key to unlock the doors so it doesn't make a noise.
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
"TYLER!" I yell and quickly turn the alarm off.
"Hey! What are you doing over there!" Someone yells.
"Shit. shit. Get in the back and get ready to open the door." I say and put my truck in drive and drive around to the side everyone's at. "Let's go!" I yell and they all scramble out of the playgroud all piling in my backseat. I speed out of there and park at a nearby gas station.
No one says anything for a while, so I turn around. I burst into laughter and so does everyone else. I take a quick picture of them before they get out.
We get into the same spots we were in going there.
"Best night ever!" Lance says laughing.
"Honestly, that's the stupidest thing I've ever done." Cody says.
"You three have not lived a day in your life if that's the most stupid thing you've done" I say.
"Well, where we used to live, people aren't down for shit." Austin says.
I hand my phone to Jay and ask her to take a picture of the boys.
"No one is allowed to see this picture." Ryan says.
"This picture's gonna be up first thing in the morning." I say. "Sleepover at my house?" I ask glancing in the rear view mirror. They all grumble out yes.
I drive home, with the music blasted. This was one hell of a night.
