After a fresh bath, I came out of the washroom and found an empty bed stating that my husband has already left the room to get ready.
I found a dress with a note on top of that stating "Hi Princess. I have noticed you asking bhavs to take your dress and asking Kavya once to check if bhavs is there for the same purpose."
I saw the dress again holding the note with my hand and continued reading "I figured, you have a habit of wearing the dress that bhavs is selecting for you. As bhavs will not be around now, I am going to take over that duty as from now on I am your friend. Remember our decision from yesterday??"
I smiled after reading the note and took my dress and without thinking twice I wore it. It was cute and I liked it even though it is not my favorite color.
I went down after applying little makeup and wearing my earrings. I saw that my whole family is sitting at the dining table waiting for me. I went to the table and sat beside my dad and opposite to me, I can see Vikky.
He smiled at me and moved his eyes to see how I was looking in the dress that was gifted by him. I blushed at that sight and ate breakfast without raising my head.
Gayatri aunty spoke "I don't understand what the hurry is. You both can take a week's rest and then start your work and college right?"
She huffed and turned towards me " Ameya. I can understand Vikranth as he never listens to what I say but at least you can start your college after some days right!?"
I am not sure how to reply to that. I raised my head slowly and when I was about to open my mouth I heard Vikky speaking all of a sudden.
"Mom, What will she do staying in the house when I myself am leaving for the hospital? She needs to get accustomed to her new college before her semester starts. Let her concentrate on her career first."
He spoke those words and started drinking his juice without even glancing at me. I was taken aback by his supportive words. I know that he is supporting me from the first but speaking against his mom and supporting me in front of all left me speechless.
I completed my food, got up, and I turned to go to the hall when I heard him speak "Princess go and get your files and documents. I will take you to college first and then will leave to hospital." Saying so he went to the garage without waiting for my reply.
I didn't expect him to do such a thing. I thought of going to college with bhavs and completing my transfer process. I turned to look at bhavs, she smiled and winked at me.
I took my things and went to the car, opened the back door to keep my things. I closed the door and came in front to sit beside him.
I saw him smiling and when I turned to face him he smiled more and said: "When you opened the back door I thought, you will sit there and got worried as I might look like your driver."
Hearing that I chuckled a little and fastened my seat belt. We were in my college in less than 30 minutes and all the transfer process was completed in one and half hours.
He took me to my classroom. Before leaving he turned to me and said with a smile "Call me once your class gets completed. I will pick you up and we both will leave together."
I nodded and he turned to leave. After taking a few steps, he stopped and turned back to come near me. He suggested"If you don't want to say that you are married to your new friends, I can totally understand and will obey your decision. Feel free to do whatever you like."
I raised my head to look at him." I know once they come to know you are married, things will not be the same. So it's completely your wish. Got it?" he said making me open my mouth in shock.
He waved his hand in front of me and I came back to my senses."Yes, Sure. I will think about it." I replied. He smiled and left from there.
I went inside my class, made my introduction, and sat on the middle row bench, where already one girl is sitting. I smiled and she beamed in return and introduced herself. Her name is Preethi.
After continuous 3 classes, we got lunch break at 3. I went to the canteen with Preethi. There she introduced me to her friends, Siddu and Avinash. They both are from Mechanical, so we won't be having any classes together.
I introduced myself and told them, I left Bangalore because my dad got some urgent business to handle. I also told them, I was staying with my sister and her family.
They believed my small, cute story. I didn't tell them that I was married as I thought of following Vikky's advice. I hope that I am not going to regret my decision as someday if we became very close I will have to reveal that to them.
