A/N: Yep. I know, another update! I know y'all love Bucky so here's a super quick drabble that I did right now to take a break from writing an update for "Winter's Gem" and "Sorry, Thomas." Phew. Unedited, raw update.

"My fault?!" Bucky angrily spat, he couldn't help but tug on his long roots in frustration. Your lips began to tremble as Y/N's stare never faltered. You tried to act tough but hearing Bucky shout at you, looking like his rage won't fade made you scared for your damn life. Your damn, mortal life.
Bucky Barnes could sense your fear. He could read you so easily, as he always does and when he saw the fear inside those E/C eyes of yours, he was sure he fucked everything up because Bucky knew in the back of his mind that you would never get to sleep, the horrendous incident repeating inside your brain numerous times. How you were close to getting stabbed and he knew you wouldn't get to recover that easily because you were you.
You, his soft, sweetheart who isn't able to kill even just a single fly. Y/N Y/L/N, the love of his life that he swore to protect from the nightmares that could happen in reality.
"I've did that to protect you, Doll. Nothing more, nothing less. I didn't intend to make you feel weak because I know you're more than that," Bucky huffed, subtly taking your chin with his metal fingers, the satisfying sound it make made your furious heart calm down a whole lotta' level. "You're strong. Even by heart,"
His words sounded like food was serving your heart, one by one it made your heart full. One by one, his words were being recorded inside your mind. Wanting nothing but to remember these precious, sweet moments with him. "You're my doll, my sweetheart, the woman whom I want to protect from my damn complicated life,"
You couldn't help but feel your lips twitch into a smile, "You know your soldier senses are coming out without you even knowing,"
Bucky sighed, leaning in a little too close, never knowing what the meaning of personal space was, "I know," He paused, taking a breather. Feeling his hot, tangerine, sugary sweet breath hitting your lips.
"I'm sorry, Y/N." He gave you an Eskimo kiss, the tip of his nose caressing yours in the most affectionate manner that could spark your hearts.
He chuckled and you gave a quiet unattractive snort that made his eyes look like adorable crescent moons. "Don't be, protect me all you want, Soldier. I'll probably crash and burn when you're not around,"
