Valerie's POV:

I honestly don't understand what came over me. It was like a fire had exploded inside of me, making me do things I wasn't fully understanding. I was sitting on the lap of a world known model; a girl that was both beautiful inside and out. A girl that had stolen away every breath I had as of late. Sure, she was a model, but to be honest; I never even noticed it until right now. As the sun was low, showing off Paris in all its glory, it casted a glow onto her. She had the most beautiful features I had ever seen in my life; full lips... her intoxicating eyes, and just... god her smile. I nearly died when I felt her pull me closer.

"I'm not sure you want me to act on this... it'll change everything." She whispered, almost causing me to miss it. I looked down at her, even though she wasn't looking me in the eye. I knew exactly where she was staring; my lips. I couldn't help but bite my lower lip, warmth radiating through me. I leaned closer, ignoring all the butterflies that were erupting in my stomach. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her eyes shut as my arms wrapped around her neck. I took a breath, wondering if I could handle taking this further.

"Please, let it..." I whispered in her ear lightly, loving the shivers that I could feel run through me as I kissed her neck gently. Her grip on me tightened immensely. I pulled back, looking down at her as she looked up at me. Her eyes were betraying her horribly; I loved it.

"Valerie..." She breathed, looking away from me for a moment. "I'm not good for-." I silenced her as I leaned forward, my lips connecting with hers. My chest felt as if a cannon had gone off. My head was swimming in different directions as ours lips danced lightly. Lyndsey moaned, her hands snaking their way into the back of my shirt, resting just under my shoulder blades. I couldn't help but be overwhelmed with pure happiness. I kissed her eagerly, my hands finding their way to her back, running over the clasp of her bra. It was like my hands were on auto-pilot; unclasping her bra and letting the straps fall down her arms. Hearing her moan into me made everything that much more intense for me. But as I opened my eyes, I was pushed down onto the couch. I was taken by surprise when she climbed on top of me, pinning my arms above my head successfully. "Seems as though you're in your rightful place..." She whispered, nipping at my ear lightly. I swallowed hard, closing my eyes as I felt as if I would melt into the couch.

"Is that so?" I managed to get out, opening my eyes when she slipped her hand under my shirt. My breath caught in my throat as I looked at the shirtless woman on top of me. I couldn't help the feeling of nervousness wash over me. It was as if my normal self was flying back from the state of nirvana I had been in. I could feel the heat rush to my cheeks as I watched the smirk grow onto her lips. Her legs were on either side of my hips, her torso exposed for my eyes to roam. She sat back onto my thighs, my eyes couldn't help but find their way to her breasts. I clenched my jaw as she leaned down slowly, her smirk becoming intimidating. "Why are you looking at me like that...?" I asked, trying my best not to sound so pathetic. Her eyes drew to slits though.

"You can touch them, if you want to." She smiled, grabbing both of my hands. I almost died on the spot as she placed both of my hands on either of her breasts. I closed my eyes, my hands squeezing gently. My cheeks must have turned into a lasting shade of red as I could feel her nipples. "Fuck..." She breathed out. I opened my eyes, noticing that she was looking down at me, her hands covering my own now. "Valerie..." She frowned, pulling my hands away and pinning them above my head. "This is fucking insane, are we really doing this right now?" Her accent was thick as she spoke, causing me to smile for some reason.

"I'm probably dreaming all of this, so I'm only just going to enjoy all of this." I answered truthfully. She rose her brow, a smirk forming on her lips once more. She leaned down, kissing my jaw and purposefully pressing her torso against my own.

"You honestly think you're dreaming?" She asked, sounding somewhat intrigued.

"I have to be..." I breathed out, nearly dying as her lips grazed my neck lightly. I swore I could feel her smiling against my neck.

"Then we're sharing the same amazing dream..." She whispered, a shiver running down my spine. I clenched my jaw as she squeezed my wrists lightly. What sent me over the edge though? The feeling of her knee pressing in between my thighs. I opened my eyes, looking right into her dark brown ones. Her face was void of any cockiness now; replaced with something more I honestly couldn't understand. "Val..." She breathed out, pressing her knee tighter. I couldn't help but let out a small moan. She hung her head in annoyance, making my brows furrow in confusion. I watched, in confusion, as she got up. I sat up, watching as she ran to the bedroom, throwing on her shirt, and running to the door.

"Okay! God, hold on!" I heard her yell in annoyance. I was confused at the fact that she was walking to the door. Had someone knocked? How the hell hadn't I heard it? I sat there, my head spinning at the fact that she was just above me just moments ago... I was frustrated now. Were we just about to...? I rubbed my hands over my face in aggravation. "Brian, what the hell?" I heard Lyndsey sigh, causing me to look over to see Brian walking in. I felt my cheeks heat up as I grabbed the pillow that was on the couch, covering my body with it as best as I could.

"I know, I'm really sorry, but Michele wanted me to stop by and see how you two were doing. She knew how upset you both were for having to share a room." He smiled awkwardly as he offered me a wave. I returned with a small smile. Lyndsey rubbed the side of her arms as she looked down at the stressed man.

"We're great. You can leave." She ushered him towards the door. But, of course that wasn't the full story.

"Well... that's not the only reason I came by." He said with a smile, pulling our two small binders from behind his back. "There were a few last-minute changes to the show tomorrow, it's just going to be a gathering. No runway; that was pushed back till Monday."

"Monday?" I asked, taking a binder from him and flipping through a few pages. "Why? That's in three days; what are we supposed to do?" I asked with a sigh, looking at Lyndsey who only shrugged her shoulders.

"Well, the gathering will take up the most of our evening tomorrow. Michele said it's mandatory, so don't bother skipping it this year; Lyndsey." He said with a knowing look, causing me to smile. "Mainly, it's just to get to know the other designers. Though, we honestly know most of them." He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose for some reason. "However, the weekend is yours to do as you wish. I mean... we are in Paris." He smiled lightly before heading towards the door. "And Lyndsey," He added, causing the taller woman to glance at him, "Please... just show up?"

"God, I did that one time!" She laughed, shaking her head at the awkward man. Brian said his goodbyes before walking out, shutting the door behind him. I looked down at the binder in my lap, the tension filling the room once more. I clenched the edges of the binder as I could feel her eyes on me.

I looked up at her to see her chocolate eyes staring into mine, causing me to avert my gaze. "Why are you looking at me like that?" I questioned, closing the binder now. Lyndsey gave me a smile, shaking her head slightly though.

"Nothing, are you ready for bed?" She said, standing up and grabbing both binders. I watched in frustration as she tossed them on the kitchen table. I didn't say anything, sitting awkwardly on the couch; Lyndsey yawned, stretching her arms above her head. I couldn't help my eyes wondering down to her waist while her shirt was risen slightly. I could instantly feel the heat course through my veins as I watched her stretch; I swear she was doing it on purpose at this point. I turned my head away from her, looking out the giant window. I could feel my heartbeat quicken at thinking of her hands all over me. What the hell was I thinking? Why did I allow myself to get carried away with her? I knew for a fact that this was insane of me to think she could honestly- "Valerie?" She was standing in front of me now, her head tilted to the side as she looked down at me. My teeth ground tightly together as I looked up at this beautiful girl. I averted my eyes, trying my best to catch myself. What the fuck was going on with me?! I closed my eyes though, as I could feel her hand upon my chin, forcing me to look at her. The look in her eyes was killing me, but in a different way; It was killing me to know what she was thinking. "Why are looking away?" Before I could even stop to think about what I was about to say, my mouth decided to go for it.

"Are we just going to ignore the fact that we were just about to have sex?" I blurted out, instantly regretting it. She dropped her hand from my chin, her brows raised abruptly as she stood up properly. I licked my lips, embarrassment flooding its course now.

"I was thinking that was what you wanted us to do." She shrugged her shoulders, giving me a blank look now. I couldn't help but laugh now, standing up and throwing the pillow to the couch. "What's so funny?"

"The fact that you're so blind." I said, shaking my head, walking towards the bedroom now. Lyndsey was quick behind me.

"What do you mean?" I rolled my eyes at how silly this situation was. I turned on my heels, making her nearly crash into me. I looked up to her, my breathing becoming irritated as I looked at the clueless woman before me. "What...?" She asked again.

"Gah! You're such a guy!" I yelled, throwing my hands in the air with defeat. I went to turn towards the bed, but she grabbed my wrist, forcing me to look towards her once again.

"What in the hell does that even mean?" She demanded, pulling me close to her. I sighed at her; could she really be this stupid? "Are you going to tell me?" She asked once more, but I shook my head. "Why?!"

"Just forget it, I'm going to bed now." I groaned, pulling away from her, walking to my side of the bed.

"Why won't you just tell me what you're talking about?" Her voice sounded confused, but as I turned to look at her I could clearly see that she was anything but confused. She wanted to hear it... I stood there, on the opposite side of the bed, staring at her. But as I looked at her I couldn't help the overwhelming feelings that were making themselves known to me. I bit my lip, trying my best to push them away. What was I expecting to happen? Us to have passionate sex and for her to fall in love with me? 'Ha, you're so funny brain.' I thought to myself. I pulled the cover back as I tried to will myself to let this go. "Seriously...?" I pulled the pillow away from the wall, laying It flat against the mattress.

"I already told you." I laughed ironically, "You chose to ignore what I had said. So, I simply give up." I said truthfully, "I can't play games anymore with you, Lyndsey..." I let out a long sigh, giving her one last look before laying down, facing away from her. I felt the bed dip lightly, her warmth instantly embracing me as her arm wrapped around my torso, pulling me towards her. My brows connected in confusion as well as frustration. She pulled me flush against her, resting her head upon mine. I didn't bother to look back at her, my eyes focusing on the night sky that Paris had to offer.

"I'm not playing games, Valerie... I'm just... scared." Her voice was slightly waivered as she spoke. I curled my toes, flexing my leg muscles as her left hand found its way to my thigh.

"You're scared? Scared of what Lyndsey? You're a god damn model who was nothing to lose. You're rich beyond anyone I've ever known and you're gorgeous and you know you are. You can have anyone you wanted. Yet here you are..." I said, pushing her arm away from me. "Making me get close to you. And for what? For you to just pretend nothing has ever happened between us? I mean I should have known you'd ignore it considering you can just blatantly ignore me for days... I should have known you would just toy with my emotions..." I seethed, my anger getting the best of me now. "I've been through enough Lyn... I really don't need that."

"You honestly think I'm like that...?" She hesitated for second. I looked over my shoulder to see that she was leaning over me slightly, our lips almost touching. But it was her eyes that took my breath away. The moonlight had made them into intoxicating pools that I couldn't look away from. "I've lost everything," She started, leaning on her elbow as she looked out the window, "I lost my dog, I lost my mother...." Her voice was cracking as I watched a single tear roll down her cheek, "I lost my sister... I've lost everything that ever mattered to me..." She whispered, wiping the offending droplet away from her cheek. She looked down to me, a sad smile adorned her lips. "You're the only thing in my life that makes me get out of bed anymore, Valerie..." She admitted quietly, causing my heart to sink. "It breaks my heart, it honestly does, if you feel like that about me. I know... I know I fucked up and I ignored you after that day... but you scare the fuck out of me, Valerie..." She sighed, avoiding eye contact with me now.

"Lyndsey..." I breathed, unsure of how to even respond to all of that. I felt horrible now... as I rightfully should... but at the same time, how was I supposed to know if she never told me? "I'm sorry... I just... I know how you fee; I've lost everything too..." I frowned, turning towards her fully. She looked down to me with a sad smile, her fingers running through my hair now.

"It saddens me to know you know how bad this burden feels." She confessed, resting her hand upon my cheek lightly. I couldn't help but wrap my arms around her, laying my head into her chest. Lyndsey sighed in contentment; laying back against the pillow and pulling me closer.

"I'm sorry for what I said by the way." I apologized, drawing a pattern into her shirt, making her laugh lightly.

"Don't worry about it, I understand. But... can I be honest? Seeing as how we seem to be so close and all?" Her voice oozed with sarcasm, making me grin.

"Sure." I said, rolling my eyes.

"I..." She started, taking a deep breath. "I think... there is a reason why I don't want to jump into things with you..." I furrowed my brows, my cheeks turning a light shade of pink I'm sure.

"Why...? Is it because I'm hideous?" I teased, sticking my tongue out at her. She smacked me lightly on the arm as she held me close.

"No," She laughed, "I think it's because... I'm falling for you."
