Chapter Six- Deal.

Third Person's Point of View
As Baekhyun got infront of Mieun he leaned closer to her.
'Time to make her heart backflip more.'
He leaned closer and closer and kissed Mieun's temple. He didn't knew why he did that but he did it. Baekhyun backed with a smirk, all he need to do is read her diary again later because he knows she will write another entry about this. He turned his back and left the diary there with a stunned Mieun.
Jaeyoung almost ripped Kyungsoo's hair but instead got whacked on the head by Nami. She glared at him an removed his hands on Kyungsoo.
"You idiot!" Nami said and shook her head then continued watching Mieun.
After coming back to her senses, Mieun dropped on the couch with her hand on her chest. Was it all a dream? Did Baekhyun kissed her again? Specifically, did Baekhyun really kissed her temple? Mieun could still Baekhyun's luscious lips on her temple and she swore that her heard did backflips many times earlier. Mieun breathed in and out.
Slowly, a smile crept on her face. Does Baekhyun like her already? Does he feel the same? Or was he only playing with her again? Instantly, her smile faltered and turned into a frown.
'Right. Maybe he was just playing with me.'
Mieun heaved a deep sigh, she must not assume or expect because always in the end she will only get hurt. She took her diary and started writing her new entry and made a mental note to hid it from Baekhyun. After finishing writing, she looked at the window beside her sighing again.
'Mieun do not assume. You're not a character on wattpad that is going to change the Ice Prince, just no.'
Jaeyoung was fuming from jealousy. The nerve of that Byun, what the hell was he doing with his girl? He knows that Mieun likes Baekhyun but this is too much, it's like Baekhyun's playing with her heart. He doesn't want his precious Mieun to get hurt, he's going to do something about this.

A few weeks passed and Baekhyun and Mieun's relationship didn't progressed at all. After the "kiss on the temple" incident, Baekhyun acted as if nothing happened. Ignoring Mieun as always or sometimes teasing her but, her and Taehyung's relationship became good. They have a noona-dongsaeng relationship and actually, Taehyung was more close to Mieun now.
Mieun regretted what she said before, about losing hope. Baekhyun was unreadable, he was expressionless, emotionless and always held a stoic face. Once she feels like she has no hope to him, then a moment later Baekhyun would come and make her heart flutter. Baekhyun was unpredictable. You'll never know what runs in his mind.
They we're already eating breakfast and as usual Baekhyun would always be the first one to stand up and Mieun would follow because Mrs. Byun always insisted. As Mieun went out the house she bumped into Baekhyun who was staring at her, yet again her heart started beating fast. Baekhyun leaned and held his hand up and took a strand of Mieun's hair.
Taking off something, letting his fingers slide away from the strands of hair.
"Breadcrumb." Baekhyun said, the sides of his lips twitching into a small smile?
Actually, Baekhyun wanted te got close to Mieun and coincidentally there was a breadcrumb. As Baekhyun backed away and turned his back on Mieun, she huffed hating the abnormally fast beating of her heart, her cheeks flushed in red.
"Stupid Baekhyun. Stop playing with my stupid heart." Mieun cursed and Baekhyun somehow heard it.
It made Baekhyun stop on his tracks and raised an eyebrow, what is she talking about playing with her stupud heart?
'I'm already doing her a favor yet she's mad at me.'
Baekhyun just shook his head and continued walking, he really doesn't understand girls as well as how Mieun couldn't understand boys. Mieun followed with a scowl on her face, as they got to school Baekhyun got confronted by his friends with students mostly fangirls around them. Boy, Kyungsoo was with them also.
"Hey, Bacon!" Chanyeol greeted him happily with his signature smile then winking at the girls around them.
You could see, Chanyeol is really a player. Sehun who was with them whacked his head and clicked his tongue.
"They're my girls!" Sehun said and smiled at the girls who couldn't help but squeal and swoon over them.
Well, Sehun was more of a player even though most of the time he held a stoic face.
"Hell no, Oh Sehun. They love me more." Kai said that earned a punch from Sehun.
If Sehun was more of a player, well Kai is basically the cassanova of the group. Kai winced and groaned in pain and shot a glare at Sehun.
"Mianhae hyung! I really love that's why I did that." Sehun sarcastically said but winked in the end.
Suho and Kyungsoo who we're watching them just shook their heads are the both of them the only ones that are normal? Baekhyun ignored them as usual and continued walking.
"Hey Baek, did you just came to school with Jung Mieun?" Suho asked Baekhyun, he saw the both of them enter the same time.
"No." Baekhyun replied quickly.
"Really? Well, that girl likes you right? She's pretty might as well make a move on her since you don't like hyung." Sehun said watching Mieun walked past them.
Baekhyun icyly glared at Sehun, "Try and you'll die." He threatened.
"Woah hyung, I'm just joking! She's all yours!" Sehun raised both of his hands up but Baekhyun ignored him.
Kyungsoo watched them with an amused smile plastered on his face. He walked to Baekhyun and swung an arm over his shoulder, Baekhyun gave him a look he just smiled at him. Kyungsoo was the only one, Baekhyun let to do that on him. If it was Chanyeol maybe he already slapped his arm off or if it was Sehun he would glare at the maknae.
Suho didn't bother to that because he knows he would only get his arm slapped off. Though he could put a hand on Baekhyun's shoulder for some time. As they passed Class-A, Kyungsoo went in there because he was the only one who's smart in their group, Suho only got to Class-B. Then the four of them proceeded Class-F.
On Class-A, Mieun stared at the window mumuring things about Baekhyun. Jaeyoung watched her, it hurts him to know that the one he loves, loves someone else but it hurst more to see her get hurt by the she loves. He slowly approached Mieun and heard something that made him fuming.
"Stupid! Why does that Byun Baekhyun always messes with my head! He's playing with my heart! Damn." Mieun muttured under her breath.
Jaeyoung tapped her shoulders, she looked up and got surprised to Jaeyoung looking at her with a unreadable expression.
"You live with Baekhyun." He said and looked Mieun in the eye.
"Wha-What? I-I do not!" She replied stuttering at the process which she cursed for.
"You're living with him." Jaeyoung stated, keeping the stoic look in his face.
"I--"
"And he's been playing with your heart." Jaeyoung finished, Mieun stooped her head down bitting her bottom lip.
"Mieun-ah.." Jaeyoug softly called lifting her head up by using her chin.
Mieun looked at Jaeyoung. There we're things she wanted to ask, about how did he knew that she lives with Baekhyun and especially the one that made her heart ache. How did he knew that Baekhyun was playing with her heart?
"I really do like you and it hurts to see you like this. I, Jaeyoung will do something about this! Don't worry, princess you're knight in shining armor is here!" He said and smiled brightly.
Oh how Mieun wished that Jaeyoung was the one she liked instead of Baekhyun.

Their exams we're nearing and everyone was studying atleast to put theirselves on the one hundred list of students who got the scores. Mieun was walking with Jaeyoung, Nami and Saerin. Jaeyoung was talking to Mieun while the two girls we're talking at each other behind them.
"This time I'll be number one!" Jaeyoung stated with a confident smile.
"Oh really mister?" Mieun asked, smiling at him.
"Of course! Even though you're my princess, I will still beat you for the first place!" Jaeyoung said, Mieun couldn't help but smile at the "my princess" part.
Coincidentally, Baekhyun was also there and overheard their conversation. He grew annoyed to Jaeyoung, he wasn't oblivious and he knows that the boy likes Mieun.
"Tsss. Excuse me." He muttered walking past in between Jaeyoung and Mieun.
They we're too close to each other that's why Baekhyun walked in between them. He putted a stoic look and continued walking, he was really annoyed with that Jaeyoung boy.
"Yah! You punk don't you have manners?" Jaeyoung yelled at Baekhyun.
Baekhyun tilted his head, "Sorry." He muttered and took a step but stopped.
"Tss. You know what, I'm growing pissed to you Byun Baekhyun." Jaeyoung gritted his teath.
Mieun looked at the two boys and sensed the tension between them, she tugged on Jaeyoung's uniform's sleeves to stop him but he ignored her. Baekhyun turned around with a eyebrow raised.
"Just because every girl swoons over you means that you'd be a such a mannerless, heartless punk." Jaeyoung spat out.
He had enough with Baekhyun already. He had gone far enough of hurting the person he loves.
"You dump every girl on a very harsh way and now you're playing with Mieun's heart?" Jaeyoung's mad now alright.
Mieun looked at Jaeyoung then to Baekhyun. What was really happening? There we're some students watching them assuming that this will end up to a fight but they're wrong.
"Who said?" It was the first thing that came out of Baekhyun's mouth that made Mieun's heart flip.
"Don't play innocent, Byun." Jaeyoung hissed, Mieun held his sleeves tighter.
Nami and Saerin watched holding on Mieun's shoulders. The both of them also noticed the tension between the two boys. They looked at Baekhyun, there's something suspicious about him.
"Who said?" Baekhyun said again.
"Aish! I had enough with this! You know you're not worth it, I don't even know why Mieun liked you? You're just goodlooking, I think you don't even have a heart!" Jaeyoung bursted out.
Baekhyu smirked, "What if I get listed on the list, will I be worth it?" Baekhyun asked.
Some gasped, some got excited, some watched more intently now. They knew that Baekhyun was from Class-F and no student from Class-F can get listed there. Those who got listed always cane from Class-A to C. Mieun's eyes widened at that.
'What the heck?!'
Jaeyoug nodded, "If you don't, stop playing with Mieun's heart, stay away from her." He said even though that's hard to do.
Baekhyun lives on one roof with Mieun, but he's sure that Baekhyun couldn't get even to the 100th spot. It's possible for students from Class-D or E but Class-F it will be a miracle for that to happen.
"I told you, I'm not playing with her heart." Baekhyun muttered glaring at Jaeyoung.
"Whatever." Jaeyoug replied.
"So, if I get in the list I'm worth it and?" Baekhyun asked.
"I'll do anything you want." Jaeyoung cooly replied.
"Deal." Baekhyun answered a smirk appearing in his face.
Mieun warched them, stunned. Did they just fought over her? And did just Baekhyun said that if he gets in the list of the students who got the highest scores in their exams he's worthy of Mieun's heart? Wait scratch that, he's worthy enough for Mieun to like him? Then everything sank in her head that made her heart beat abnormally fast.
