I woke up, it was Sunday. I walked downstairs and saw Remus. I hugged him and he didn't hug back. He didn't even look at me. Sirius walked in and gave Remus a strange look. It's probably nothing.

It was the first day of classes for the year and we were in Potions. Sirius once again wasn't here, it's official, Slughorn is never going to have him as a student. He was telling Lily that she should've been in Slytherin again. She of course gave him a cheeky reply back. Classic Lily. I tried saying something to Remus but he ignored me. James gave him a puzzled look and shrugged.
"Mate," I heard James whispering, "Y/n is trying to talk to you."
"I don't care, James."
I started tearing up. Lily heard it too and glared at Remus.

Later on in the day I sat next to Remus in the Great Hall. He immediately stood up and left to the Common Room shortly after. I saw Peter roll his eyes at Remus as he dragged him with him. Sirius looked annoyed as he watched them leave. Marlene wasn't with him because she got hurt earlier and was in the Hospital Wing.
"Sirius what's up with him?"
"It's just his time of month."
"Sirius, really. He's been acting distant lately, I could barely focus during Quidditch."
"All I'm going to tell you is that he's being a prick and you have no fault in what's going on. What's going on with him is something he has to tell you although I'm pretty sure you have an idea of what's going on with him."
"Yeah I have a good idea of what's going on."

It's November now. Remus has been distant for the last few months. I've been worried for a while. I walked into the Common Room and he was all alone. I saw him look up from his book and stood up to leave when he saw me.
"Remus John Lupin, you better stop right there."
He sighed and turned around. His eyes looked empty, I felt my heart drop. It's been a while since I've gotten a good look at him.
"What do you want," he sighed, "I don't have all day."
"What do you mean 'what do you want?' You've been distant for months! Even Sirius has said stuff about it! Remus, you can talk to me about anything. Just tell me what's wrong."
"I'm sorry."
"That's all you have to say? Remus you've barely talked to me in months."
"Y/n I love your smile, your hair, your eyes, everything about you. I love you, that's why I've been distancing myself and I'm so sorry."
"Your compliments aren't going to change anything. And scared of what, Remus? You're not thinking that you being a werewolf will ruin our future, are you?"
"There are more reasons."
"Remus you can tell me."
He sighed. "Apart from me thinking that if we have a kid I'm going to pass the werewolf stuff to an innocent child, there's also the fact that I might lose you, and you might lose me. This war might be the end of us, some of our friends might even die."
"Remus listen. Even if one of us does die, wouldn't it be better for us to spend as much time with each other as possible. I don't know about you, but I'm here for a good time, not a long time, and I want a good time with you."
Remus grabbed my waist and pulled me towards him.
"You're right darling, I'm so sorry. I promise I won't distance myself next time. I love you."
He pressed his lips against mine. He began moving his hands up and down my back.
We were interrupted by a voice going, "bloody hell, you barely speak to each other for months and now you're about to shag on the couch?!"
We pulled away and saw Sirius with his arms crossed and smirking.
I rolled my eyes at him, "but I mean, at least we didn't actually shag on the couch like you and-"
"Bloody hell you guys are never going to stop using that."
"You're right, we're not."
"Are you serious?"
"No, you're Sirius."
"Shut up Y/n."
"Make me."
"I'm sure Moony can make you, but you might moan a little."
"Really Padfoot?"
"Yes, really Moony."
I couldn't help but laugh.

I'm falling really hard for James. He has me losing my bloody mind. It's a bummer he's probably over me by now, it's been years. We were studying together in the library and I couldn't help but notice the way his eyebrows furrowed as he read things. His hazel eyes focused on what was in front of him.
He noticed me staring and smirked.
"What are you looking at Evans?" I rolled my eyes at him and didn't reply.
He continued working and seemed very satisfied with himself.
James took the Marauders Map and said "look, Remus and Y/n are together."
"It's about time."
James smirked all of a sudden, "oh look what we have here."
"What is it?"
"Sirius and Marlene are together in an empty broom closet."
I giggled, "wonder what they're doing."
"Probably each other."
"Yeah."
"What the bloody hell is Peter doing?"
"What do you mean?"
"He's with Snape, Regulus, and Malfoy!"
"That's odd."
"I don't think he's in danger, there's an opening for him to run and he would've taken it."
"Maybe you should ask him about that later."
"I probably should."
"Yeah."
"Woah the source of Y/n's favorite pick-up line is with Dumbledore in his office."
"Who?"
"Newt Scamander."
"That's cool, want to wait outside his office and meet him?"
"You sound like a fangirl."
"I am a fangirl, James."
"Hehe."
I looked over at the map and smirked, "wow Sirius and Marlene have been there for awhile now, they must be having a lot of fun."
James snickered, "yeah probably."
I looked over at the map again, "look, Y/n and Remus are talking to Newt Scamander."
"No way."
I started laughing, "like you've said before, the map never lies."
"Let's go then."
We ran over and saw Y/n and Remus talking to Newt Scamander. He smiled and waved at us.
"Hey Mr. Scamander," James snickered, "did you know that Y/n's favorite pick-up line has to do with you?"
Y/n turned a bit red and Remus held her hand.
Newt was curious, "what is this pick-up line?"
"Are you Newt Scamader," he began.
"James no!" Remus shouted.
James smirked and continued, "cause I'd like to see your fantastic beast."
Y/n buried her face into Remus's neck, refusing to make eye contact with anyone, and James began laughing. I just sighed.
"That...." Newt began, "I have no idea what to say about that. It was clever I guess... but odd."
"James Potter you are the absolute worst," I joked.
James acted offended and nodded dramatically.
"Aren't you Fleamont Potter's son?" Newt asked.
"Yes actually I am."
Sirius came out of nowhere and said "I know, you must be surprised. You'd think the son of the man who invented Sleekeazy's Hair Potion would have better hair."
Newt was trying to suppress his laughter and James began to chase after Sirius. I couldn't help but smile to myself.
