"Why did you invited her? He's gonna be here you know that!"
"Yeobo she's my friend. Of course I'll invite her! Why did YOU invite him?"
"Well he's my friend too! What are we gonna do?!" He exclaimed.
"And they had to bring dates too... omo..this is gonna be a disaster. Our anniversary party will be ruined."
She sniffed a little.
"Ani.. we just had to make sure they won't see each other. We need to distract them! Or else...."
"World War III" the wife exclaimed.
Husband and wife both looked at the ex couple on each side of the room. Praying they won't turn and see one another.
But too late.
As if each had felt one another's presence their heads slowly turned and scanned the room until their eyes met.
"Yeobo!" Wife exclaimed.
"I got him. You go to her." Wife nod. As they made their way to their respective person, their eyes wide open as they watch both made their way to the other in the middle.
"Oh no..." wife covered her eyes in fear.
"It's gonna be ok..."

"You're here. " I said to her and eyed her date at the same time.
"Of course, they're my friend." She sneered at my date.
"Ours. Our friends." I corrected her.
"Don't remind me that we still have one thing in common."
My eyes narrowed as I stared at their entwined hands.
"Ji Chang Wook. Husband."
"EX husband. You seem to forget the word "EX".
"Unfortunately I haven't since a certain person would not sign the divorce papers."
"I would have signed in a heartbeat if you would have only agreed to my terms."
"No. I don't agree to visitations only. You know I wanted Joint Custody!"
"Huh! Why should you? You were barely there to take care of her!"
"I'm working!"
"So do I! But I never forget to feed her or bathe her!"
"I bought her!"
"You gave her to me! As a gift remember?! So she is mine alone!"
We glared at each other. People were looking at us. But I don't care! This woman is unbelievably frustrating!
"Guys.. I think you should talk about your daughter on a more private manner.. people are watching."
We both turned our heads to look at her date.
"Daughter?" I asked him.
"We don't have a daughter. Thank god."
"But you were...."
"We're talking about Mittens. Our Corgi." I explained.
"My Corgi. Mine!"
"Are you gonna start?!"
"What?! We never finish anything! Because you were never there!"
"I'm warning you..." I took a step foreward.
"Or what?! Huh?!" She took one closer to me.
We were breathing so hard, trying to remain calm when our friends came.
"Chang Wook. Olive. Please.. we have guests." My bestfriend reminded us.
"Tell her that! She don't know when to stop!"
"Me?! Why are you always pointing at me! We never get to start anything because you WERE NEVER AROUND!"
"I'm working for our family!"
"Ha! What family?! You were never home enough to knock me up!"
"Guys! Please! This is our wedding anniversary party!
Don't ruin it! People are watching.."
"Come on Olive... let's go see our other friends.. please?"
She threw me a glare one last time and she turned around and grabbed her date and walk off.
"Great! Just walk away! That's what you do best anyway!" I yelled at her.
"Yah! Man.. keep it down my in laws are here!"
I looked at my bestfriend and immediately felt embarrassement.
"I'm sorry.. let's go" I turned to my date who was shocked with what happened. We went to the opposite side of the room.

I drank my 2nd glass of wine and keep on taking deep beath.
*He is so annoying! How dare he make his work as an excuse?! I work too! But I make sure I'm home to make him dinner! Dinner that he doesn't eat because he was never around!*
"Baby.. Did you hear what I said." I crined a little.
I hate it when he calls me that. HE used to call me baby... I sighed sadly.
I felt his arm wrapped around my waist. My body tensed up.
I felt his thumb slowly drew circle at the side of my chest.
"Stop..." I said to him.
"You are so beautiful..." he whispered in my ear. Goosebumps!
"Come on.. stop.. are you already drunk?"
"Nope. I want to be sober for tonight. You know what I mean..." he lightly traced his lips on my neck.
*Oh come on! He had to be a pervert!*
"No.. I don't know what you mean. I'm going to bed as soon as you drop me off later."
"We're gonna have fun tonight baby..."
I pushed his lightly. "I don't think so."
I turned around to walk away when he grabbed for my wrist.
"Ow... you're hurting me!"
"Why are you pushing me away? I've been nothing but patient with you for weeks and this is how you repay me?!"
His hold tightens more. I winced in pain.
"Let me go please.."
"You're such a tease. I like it." He sneered at me and pulled me to him. Before he could do anything else a hand grabbed him on the collar and pulled him off me. That hand punched him!
"Get your hands off my wife!"
"Chang Wook!"

My date was nothing but talkative tonight.
*Why did I agree to go on a blind date?* I cursed myself.
My eyes started to wonder. Shutting off stories about fashion and shopping. I knew who I was looking for.
A small female on a black dress.
*She looks so pretty tonight... can't believe she moved on so quickly! I'm so stupid...*
Then there I saw that one person I wanted to hold the whole night.
*That bastard!* I cleanched my hands as I watched him kiss my wife in the neck. She looked horrified!
*She hates public display of affection stupid!*
I grit my teeth when I saw him grabbed her.
*That's it!*
I walked over to where they are. My eyes narrowed as my wife tried to fight him off. Without any hesitation I pulled him off her and punched him!
"Get your hands off my wife"
"Chang Wook!" My wife said in relief.
I turned to her and immidiately checked on her wrist. I can see an angry red mark forming.
I turned at him.
"You're gonna doe today!" I grabbed him and pulled him up and punched him hard!
My wife screamed!

"That should teach you a lesson! How stupid can you get?! Do you have to fight him?"
"Who knew he was an MMA fighter." I grumbled.
"Serves you right. You're so immature sometimes! What are we gonna do?! You have a shoot tom! Stupid." She said as she pressed harder.
"Ow! Yah! I was only protecting you!"
"I know... I'm thankful. Really I'm. But it hurts me more to see you like this..."
"Baby..."
"Baby..?" She cut me off..
I was about to apologize...
"It has been a while since you called me that... I missed hearing it.."
She bowed her head and started to cry softly.
"Baby.. I'm so sorry..." I scooped her and placed her on my lap.
Instinctly she wrappped her arms around my neck and cried harder.
"Im so sorry... I've been so stupid. I've been neglectful. I'm a bad husband!"
She looked at and smiled.
"I wouldn't say that.. you have your moments."
I chuckled and kissed her forehead.
"Baby.. I miss you.. this 3months have been nothing but hell. Please... come back to me?"
She just looked at me.
Fear grips my heart. I don't know what I'll do if she said no..
"I'll make it up to you. I'll be good. Better even.. just say you'll give me another chance?"
She cupped my face and leaned in for a kiss.
"I miss you too... we'll so better this time. Together."
