"Well then go hang out with them!" You spat, charging away from your boyfriend, stomping up to your room.
Seizing his pillow and blanket you stormed back out, launching them at his feet.
"You can sleep on the couch."
Slamming the door behind you hot tears began streaming down your cheeks. The two of you had gotten into a disagreement.. well this time more like a real fight, your first at that. The rare disagreement usually lasted at most 30 minutes before one of you would apologize or a compromise was made, but this was a little different. Still sobbing and trembling with rage, you began preparing for bed. Roughly crawling into the middle of the bed you enveloped yourself in the icy covers. No matter how hard you tried you just couldn't fall asleep. Maybe it was because you kept replaying the fight over and over again in your head, or maybe it was due to the unfamiliar atmosphere of no one beside you.
The clock had struck 1 A.m. before you decided to head to the kitchen for something, anything to help you sleep. Sneaking down the stairs you heard the occasional noise of y/bf moving around on the couch. You quietly grabbed a mug filling it with warm milk and a spoonful of honey. Your mom had always made this when you couldn't sleep and it always seemed to help.
Grabbing your mug you started heading back upstairs.
Y/n is that you?" A voice called out.
A bit startled you glanced over your shoulder to see y/bf, his eyes red and puffy from crying.
"Y/n.. please answer me, I'm sorry."
Questioning even looking back again you eventually gave in. You missed his touch, you missed him.
"Yeah it's me, have you... been crying?"
"Yeah.. I'm just.." he hesitated, taking a deep breath."I'm sorry. I'm so dumb I️ ruin everything. Please forgive me?"
"Hey don't put yourself down. We all make mistakes. You are amazing, I forgive you. Now please come back to bed, I'm so cold and lonely!" You smirk continuing up the stairs.
Smirking he raced up the stairs behind you.
Once in bed Y/bf immediately had you wrapped in his arms, your head laying on his chest.
"I'm sorry y/n. I️ don't know how I got a girl like you." He apologized.
"Y/bf don't say that. You're amazing, smart, caring, and let's not forget gorgeous." You smirk before adding,
"We all get mad sometimes. I forgive you. Can you forgive me?"
"Of course, I can't stay mad at you."
You two had ultimately made up, spending the rest of the night enjoying each other company. (Wink wonk)
