"Again" the teens all glared at me, murmuring amongst themselves. "Did I stutter? I said again" they all had seemed to jump, getting into position. Then they begin to spar again. It was the seniors exam. The ones who drop or get knocked out fail.
I sighed glancing at our Gamma, who took care of preparing the seniors. "Keep them going all night. I'll be with my brother if you need anything"
"Understood. Hope Beta Jonathan gets better soon" I nodded my head, then running a hand through my hair. I turned and started to walk away. The hospital was only a few minutes away.

Eventually I did make it, being allowed right in. I walked to his room, seeing him sleeping as I walked in. I sighed walking back over to the foot of his bed, looking at the clipboard and what medications they were giving him. Then I heard movement. I glanced up to see his eyes blink open, he smiled softly at me, adjusting himself so he can sit up.
"Hey little brother" he cleared his throat right after because of his voice being raspy.
"Hey how are you feeling?" He shrugged.
"You know, the soreness is still there but the medication they got me on is really doing it's job. Heck I might even get out of this bed by the end of the week" My eyebrow raised, calmly I put the clipboard back to its regular position, my arms crossed in front of my chest.
"No doctors orders is that your in bed rest for another week. You can't be cut short, you need your strength"
"I think I can take care of myself"
"No you can't when your in pain" I snapped back. His face scrunching up.
"Listen I know you care but I have a pack to run. Speaking of which, have you heard from Kamali it's been a day right?" I shook my head.
"No nothing. You haven't felt any different right, you know because you guys are connected or something"
"From the Beta Alpha bond? No I don't think- wait no I lied..a craning in my neck, it started to burn last night" I froze. "Y-you don't think he bit her like feed from her? Or marked her?" I stepped away from him my eyes widening in realization.
"No he did something much worse..he did both"

Why did I feel such pain? Such a crane in my neck. I couldn't move for some reason, my body had aced to much. Only my eyes could open. My eyes frantically searched where I was. I was in a bed in a wooden room. The covers were on me, the room was freezing. It frustrated me how I couldn't move, how I couldn't call for help. Wait. Where am I? This isn't the pack house, it didn't smell like the pack-house at all.
I had to get moving, I had to. I struggled. Telling my mind to make commands, to make my limbs move. My arms started to lift up, they aced with such pain, a whimper had escaped from my throat.
I had managed to fully get up, using the bed for support so my knees wouldn't buckle from under me. I kept struggling, shuffling closer, closer to the door. My legs felt to weak to continue, I needed to get out of here, I had to. I adjusted myself, preparing to take the daring steps to the door. It was maybe three steps, I can do this, I can do this. I took a deep breathe then took a step foreword, my grip releasing from the bed. Good. I went to step one more time, good again.
I went to take another step then my knees buckled. I think I let out a short scream until I hit the ground. I winced, my ribs throbbing, my lungs losing air, I felt like I was choking. Then my breathe came back, I was gasping for air. Then a vibration ran out through the air. I glanced up, it was him. Every moment from last night came back to me, every moment until I was knocked out. I wanted to get away, I tried to, I tried to crawl away from him. He seemed to have sighed, then he crouched down, picking me up like a child.
An eruption of tingles, tiny shocks all over where he touched me. I tried to get out of his hold, but he was stronger than me. All I could do was stare up at his chocolate brown eyes. Brown. Normal. My eyes widen as he laid me back down on the bed, putting the covers over me again.
"Your too weak..stop trying to work yourself too much" fear had prickled through me. My breathing started to go shallow, quick short breathes. He had sat by my feet, just staring at me. "I'm sorry he went this far with you. I am so sorry" it was as if he was actually apologizing. It was apart of this game he was playing. The game to get to me.
"Let me get you some food, please don't try and get up again" then he vanished. Just gone. The door left swinging open. Then he came back, a tray full of food. It looked like steak, on the side was some rice. There was also a cup of water with little ice cubes. "Here it's not poisoned , it's actually deer, I found a bunch of them and decided to go hunting" I gulped, just staring at the food. My head had already started to pound, I needed to eat, I've lost too much blood. I couldn't give in, I shouldn't give in to his mind games.
"Please eat...I'll answer any questions you have, I need you to be healthy" answers? I blinked a few times, thinking. I then stared back at the food and had began to eat.
