Naruto's Pov
"Naruto hurry up you dumbass." I felt myself get dragged out of bed by my ear, which was painful let me tell you. My eyes shot open and I followed the person dragging me to the bathroom.
"Sa-Sakura!" She looked pissed, let me tell you again. She marched us over to the sink and grabbed my toothbrush.
"Are you aware of what day it is. I've been waiting outside for twenty-minutes." She squirted the toothpaste onto the toothbrush and shoved it into my mouth.
"Ibm sworry Sakuwa chan." She put the toothbrush in my hands and walked off towards the door.
"Yeah you should be because now we have only thirty minutes to get to the hospital." Suddenly all the sleepiness in my body left, and I quickly finished getting dressed.
"Are you impressed." Sakura grabbed her purse and rolled her eyes as she's threw me my car keys.
"I would have been impressed if you actually woke up on time." I smiled and grabbed Sakura's hand, dragging her to my car.
"You're such a kid Naruto." We both got into the car and buckled our seat belts.
"Yeah but kids don't have their own apartment and car." I put the key into the ignition and pulled out the apartment parking lot.
"No offense but offense, your apartment is trash, and the only reason you have a nice car is because your mom helped you out." I put my hand on my chest and pretended to be highly offended.
"Why I never." She slightly laughed at my failed attempt of the British accent. Then she got serious all of a sudden, which is never good.
"How is she." My smile and playful atmosphere disappeared. Then it got quiet, so quiet that you could hear the tires of my car rolling on the highway.
"Well she's...she's doing well." I bitterly smiled and she looked down at her lap. The both of us were silent for the rest of the ride.

Once we got to the hospital, Sakura and I put on our scrubs and went to our departments; she's a pediatrician.
Once I got to my department, you could hear the cries of all the families. The cries of the patients, and the sound of heart monitors flatlining. I was unable to move. That was until an arm went around my shoulder.
"I missed you dobe." I quickly turned around and jumped into his arms.
"Sasuke what are you doing here!" He quirked an eyebrow and wrapped his arms around me.
"My job...?" I pulled away from him and rolled my eyes.
"No really. What are you doing here." He smiled and looked around.
"Well I wanted to have a job close to home. So I chose Kohana, but they didn't have any complaints considering I'm top of my class." I shook my head and smiled.
"Cocky bastard."
