One Week Later
This past week has been really quiet well that's an understatement it's been uncomfortably quiet : Silence
Except the rustling of the maids feet and Frediano popping in and out of my room not saying an utter word to me I only asked him to get my clothes from my room and he just nodded his head and lastly some old Italian man checking on me once to see if my head was healing he said it's healed
Then why the hell can I not go back to my hotel room?
Laying in bed I check the clock on the nightstand right next to me it's 9:45 in the morning the maids must be making breakfast for Frediano and I and usually around 10:00 am they serve me breakfast in bed of course me having manners I say thank you looking at them they seem sweet two were older s maybe in the late 40's and one maid had to be around my age or a little older all of them wearing the casual white and light blue maid outfits trying to make a conversation with them but they kept it at a minimal saying only yes or no in Italian.
Doing my morning duties of brushing my teeth washing my face and showering I change into a simple dark blue jeans and a red off the shoulder top I put little makeup on and put my hair up in a ponytail. Heading downstairs to the kitchen his staircase is huge snooping a little around the house he has beautiful home I wonder if has a family I see no pictures just really nice furniture Now heading to the kitchen I greet all three maids in Italian saying
"Good morning ladies how are you?"
("Signore del buon giorno come stai?")
Shocked to their surprise and to my dismay they give me a simple smile and serve me my breakfast
Looking at them in disappointment then my food having a simple eggs toast and orange juice I asked them "Where Frediano?

All looking at me the younger maid with her pretty strawberry blond hair said that he left early this morning.
the other maids had given her a nasty look knowing that she should of been quiet and just ignored my question. Finishing my breakfast I tell them I'm going back upstairs with an understanding nod from all three I head back.
Frediano Pov
For the past week Emerald has been at my house Dr.Maddox said her stitches healed but why didn't she just leave? Does she think I'm holding her captive? I only come in and out of her room knocking of course to see if she's ok I didn't say anything to her only agreeing to get her clothes from her hotel room.
"Frediano? Boss?"
Alessandro asked
Thinking about Emerald I completely disconnect from the meeting with the guys today at one of the warehouses Shep, Dario, Alessandro and a couple other security guards just look at me questionably
"What I hear you." Lying to them continuing
"Business as usual if anything happens call Alessandro then he will call me."
Business has been quiet nobody tried to cross me asides from Joe and Giovanni. It hasn't been much trouble but I'm still on high guard.
Everyone dispersing from the room except Alessandro still looking at me
"Not In the mood this morning Alessandro." I say to him
"Ok just answer me one question who's is that girl Frediano?"
Thinking to myself why the hell is he still asking about her
Annoyed I answer him
"Her name is Emerald I met her at the museum and then a cafe"
"Do you like her?" He asked
"I don't how I feel about her she's different I can just tell."
"Bullshit Frediano is she still there? "
"Watch your mouth and yes she still is."
"We'll get her take her back where she came from Africa or America she's defiantly American you can tell." laughing slightly
Looking at him in anger I take out my 9mm gun from my suits back pocket and shoot him in his left foot.
Falling and screaming in pain I stand over him and saying
"I know you're not being racist Alessandro I just know your not."
"No!...I'm not shaking his head
Cutting him off
"And speaking of Americans weren't you born there what state was is?"
Still over him
"Answer me Alessandro" I say sternly
"California" he says in more pain
Laughing at him
"Well next time you should the fuck up and don't question me. I was trying to be nice till you wanted to go left and say things that were inappropriate."
Huffing out loud then walking over him
I say "I'll call Dr.Maddox and tell him where you are."
Leaving Alessandro on the floor holding his bloody foot in agony.
