Andrea's POV- September 2017
I finished tying my shoes and turned around to look at Dean who was dressed, but 'resting his eyes' behind me.
"Do you want to go with me to Chris' room or do you mind staying with Noel?" I asked him.
He did not open his eyes, but he did mumble;
"Stay"
I shifted and leaned over him.
"I'll see you in a bit" I promised.
He nodded as I kissed his cheek. Noel (who had just woken up) offered me a tired smile.
"Go on now, I got him"
She grinned and wiggled her eyebrows.
"Just remember that Chris won't be there alone"
I laughed and shook my head at her.
"See you two in a bit" I told them as I grabbed my room key and purse.
The walk to Chris and Cody's shared room was short. A drowsy Cody opened the door and stepped back.
"Morning" I greeted.
He hummed and kissed my cheek.
"Shower time?" I asked.
"Yes, wake him up. We've got to be ready in an hour"
I nodded and closed the door behind me. Setting my purse on the floor, I climbed up on the bed that Chris was asleep on. He lightly hummed when I lied down next to him and kissed his cheek multiple times.
"Let me see those pretty eyes" I stated.
He shifted on his side, pulling me against him. I couldn't help but laugh as he buried his face in the crook of my neck and proceeded to shake his head.
"Your beard tickles" I informed him.
I leaned my head against his, and proceeded to kiss his forehead.
"You missed"
"Yeah, well I want to see your eyes so we both can't have it our way" I sassed.
I wiggled my hand under him and smiled as he lifted his body up a bit so I could cuddle closer against him.
"How's your hand?"
It was getting chilly in LA, and for some reason that was making my wrist ache. Chris told me he dealt with the same soreness since his wrist had healed.
"It feels pretty good, one of your athletic trainers gave me a massage last night" I mentioned.
He pulled away and looked at me.
"Who?"
"Does it matter?" I questioned.
He slowly nodded.
"Kinda, yeah"
I slowly sat up. It mattered to him because most, except one were male.
"Well I don't really remember her name" I stated.
His shoulders visibly relaxed and he nodded as he looked down at his hands. I climbed up on his lap and gently tucked a finger under his chin in order to make him look at me.
"So Noel pointed out when I first met her that you turn into the green monster when you're jealous" I brought up.
There was no need for him to be jealous.
"I just get a little defensive"
He was mumbling and avoiding eye contact.
"Well there's no need to be jealous, I have eyes only for you" I informed him.
He accepted the kiss I was leaning in for and when he pulled away he sighed.
"You're way out of my league"
"Why do you think that?" I wondered.
"You can get any guy"
"And I chose to be with you" I stated.
He nodded.
"What if you meet a guy?"
"I already met my guy" I told him.
I snaked my arms around his neck and frowned at him.
"If you must know, you are technically my first boyfriend" I informed him.
His eyes widened a bit.
"Wait, really?"
"Yes, you're the only male who my father thought was worthy of dating me" I admitted.
A smile appeared on his face as I lightly scratched his beard. As weird as it sounded, I liked running my hand through his beard.
"So there is no need to think that I would ever leave you for some loser guy" I replied.
The smile on his face just grew as I gave him a deeper kiss. When I pulled away, I pressed my nose against his cheek and hugged him.
"I love you" I reminded him.
"I love you too"
I kissed his cheek and lightly touched his sides earning a light giggle from him.
"Um, you two better not be having sex"
Chris just laughed as I full on pressed my hands on his sides and wiggled my fingers against his shirt.
"Nah, just tickling Chris" I replied.
"Well then carry on"
Chris shook his head and grabbed my hands that were still on his sides. He laughed once again as I wiggled my fingers while he tried to move my hands.
"So how's Maddy?" I questioned.
Cody sat on his bed and nodded at me as he ran a towel through his hair. I took that time to press my weight on Chris' thighs as he leaned back.
"She's started school, so she's busy"
I nodded.
"I actually think I'm going to visit her before playoffs start"
The Dodgers were headed to the post season, and they would have about 4 days off before the the NLDS began.
"She's going to be thrilled to see you" I stated.
"I hope so"
Cody was head over heels for Maddy, and as much as he hated to admit it; he was deadly afraid that she's find someone in Toronto. That was in no way going to happen, Maddy was just as equally in love with him.
"Unless Martin Jones gets traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, you've got nothing to worry about" I joked.
He simply rolled his eyes.
"He's the only guy you should be worried about" I told him.
I moved off Chris' lap and cuddled up next to him.
"I can tell you two missed each other"
I looked at Cody.
"You're more than welcome to join the cuddle" I said.
Chris laughed when Cody slipped on his hoodie and proceeded to climb up on the bed.
"I miss Maddy"
He lied down next to me and looked at me.
"And I'm sick and tired of hearing people telling me that the distance makes the heart grow fonder"
I raised an eyebrow.
"Isn't it absence?" I questioned.
Chris laughed as Cody nodded as he buried his face into a pillow.
"Yes"
"Just think of the amazing sex you'll have the next time you see her" I stated.
His body shook as he laughed.
"Remember to be on your best behavior though, you can't show any signs of weakness around Auston Matthews" I reminded him.
He shifted and looked at me.
"The guy is a douchebag"
That he was.
"At the end of the day, it's you who Maddy thinks of. Not him" I said.
He hummed.
"Thanks for making me feel better"
I smiled and patted his chest.
"Always a pleasure to feed your ego" I replied.
Chris chuckled as he put his arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer to him.
"You two are gross"
"Get used to it" I sassed.
A/N: Hello all, hope you liked the update. I've got so much homework to do so I should get on that. Dodgers won last night (as did the Kings) so I'm a happy camper at the moment. Fingers crossed that tomorrow's game goes well. Bye!
