Third person

Arriving at the Penthouse Max felt like he was a different person. The penthouse has changed from the penthouse he remembers. There was new furniture, photographs nearly placed on every wall.

There was a toy box in the corner of the room. The penthouse felt lived in. It looked like a home. Marcus told him he has been staying here, that they lived in a house on the outskirts of the city so that the children has room to play outside.

They kept the penthouse as a second home. Especially if they were all working late on a big contract. Max blinked. He couldn't believe that he life has changed so much in five years. Walking pass a mirror he stopped to look at his reflection. Even his face has aged. He looked older, not so old that he was unrecognisable but there were fine lines around his mouth that he didn't remember.

Letting out a scream of frustration Max kicked the stool that was at the breakfast bar. Why is it that his mind chooses not to remember such a crucial time of his life?

Falling to the floor cradling his head in his arms he sucked in his tears. He felt broken, alone and afraid for the future.

No wonder Natasha didn't want him, what could he provide for her. Everyone always thinks that he was okay, because he was always the social one. He was the one everyone could depend on to make light of a situation to take them away from their dark thoughts.

Who was there to make sure he was okay. He hoped that Natasha was ready for a life with the three of them. They already decided that if Natasha decided she only wanted one of them then the other one would step back and let that other person be happy.

Now looking at the pictures on the wall seeing that he leads that happy life for five years for it to end because she found him lacking something that Marcus had.

He never thought that she would compare the both of them, as others had during his lifetime. He thought Natasha was different. Special.

Maybe it was a blessing that he lost his memory, that way he won't be traumatised by what he has loss. The term what you don't know won't hurt sprung to his mind.

Max stood up dusting off his pants blinking away the sting of tears that he refused to let fall. He will make the best of a situation, starting by getting to learn who his children are.

Moving to the cabinet Max opened the glass doors to pick up a photo album that read, 'My First Year.'

Opening it he read the Title Riley underneath was a picture of her in Natasha arms in the hospital with him and Marcus standing opposite side of the bed with wide smiles on their faces.

"Six pounds." Max whispered looking at the picture. Turning the page was a close-up picture of Riley stating where she was born and that she weighed six pound 5 ounces.

Looking at the next page brought a smile on his face he could see his twin boys looking down at their sister. They looked young and upset, they were expecting another boy to play with Marc didn't want her in the house as she cried a lot.

She cried a lot! Max felt the book slip through his fingers as the memory of when his sons first met their sister filtered through his head. Then just like that it was gone, he remembered the memory but nothing before that or after that.

Before he could ponder at the memory the lift made a noise to alert him to someone presence. Only people that know the code could gain access to the flat. Even then the lift just brings them to the floor unless one of the owners answers it so that the door opens.

Walking over to the lift. Max looked at the panel that revealed on the screen who was in the lift. Recognising Nicole, he pressed the button that gained her entrance.

"Max!" She greeted putting the bags on the floor to envelop him in a hug. "Thanks for calling. I brought over a couple of things that you might need."

He tapped her once on the back then stepping away to break contact. "Yeah. I didn't know who else to call." He spoke to his parents but he felt like they did not understand what he was going through.

Speaking to Nicole these past couple of weeks before he was release from hospital made him feel like the old him. She didn't see him these past five years. She knew the old Max. Not the broken man that Natasha sees.

"It is okay." Nicole bent down to pick up her bags heading over towards the kitchen. She opened the fridge to see that it was already fully stocked. "Looks like Natasha has already seen to your food. I hope you don't mind spaghetti bolognaise."

Max shook his head leaning his hip on the counter watching as Nicole worked about in his kitchen. "How's your day been?" Max asked her.

Nicole shrugged. "Same as usual. Nothing different. I applied for the teaching position at your old high school."

Max laughed. "You sure you want to be an English teacher to teenagers?"

Taking the pots out of the cupboard Nicole turned and faced him. "You were the one that suggested that I applied for the position. Any way it gives me room to breathe. I find it hard being here but unable to see my girls."

Pulling out the stool that he kicked earlier Max sat down giving Nicole his full attention. Maybe that is why he was drawn to her as in a way she was just as broken as him. "James haven't let up on letting you see them?"

Sadly, Nicole shook her blonde head. "He says it's for the best. Their girls don't know that they were adopted by him and his wife. It will confuse them. Right now, because of the family I am just their aunt. I see them at family parties. No-one says anything. I can't say anything but I can see that they are happy. I made the right decision."

Max cleared his throat even though she duped him, he has forgiven her. "Who is the father?" In all their conversations, this subject hasn't come up.

Stopping in her movements Nicole blinked taken aback from his question. "I known him for years. As he uses to date my friend. When I was out in L.A I had a one night with Him. Donald. Donny as he like to be called. I told him about the girls but he wasn't interested as he was getting married to my friend at the time. I just haven't pursued it since then and he wasn't bothered about it."

Max covered her hand with his, offering her comfort. "it is okay. Five years ago, we both were different people. Now we just have to rediscover who we truly are."

Leaning forward Nicole pressed her lips against Max. Stunned Max couldn't move holding her by the shoulders.

Pulling back out her arms he looked her in the eye. "Nicole. I'm sorry."

"It is okay." Nicole blushed with embarrassed pretending to wipe away a speck of dust on her dress. "I read the whole situation wrong."

Max shook his head. "I... I am still in love with my wife. She may have ended things between us. Yesterday I am still the guy that had her in my office. I am still the guy that..." Max let the sentence drift unsure how to finish it. "I am still that man."

"I think I prefer us as friends anyways." Nicole said honestly. "You were always that guy that treated me with respect. When I lost everything. My family, children, friends I realised what was important in my life. Which mean start working with me."

Max thought Nicole was right, sometimes you need to work on yourself before you could let others in. He was so happy that they were on the right page.

Slipping off the stool, Max walked to his bedroom opening the door he noticed that it was not his room but a room that housed twin beds and a cot.

They changed his room into a children's room.

"This room is so beautiful." Nicole said from behind him. "I like how you had your children name written on the wall next to their bed."

"It was Natasha idea, she saw that people was doing that in a baby magazine she was reading." Max said shocked looking at Nicole in wonder. "I remembered something."

"Do you remember anything else?" Nicole asked encouraging him to remember more.

Thinking hard Max slowing moved his head from side to side. "Nothing. All I been getting is little titbits of information. Nothing concrete. It is so annoying."

Rubbing his arm Nicole offered what comfort she could. "Just give it time. At least you know that your memory is coming back."

Moving away from the room he went to the room next door which use to be Natasha room. He found the door locked the only way to open it was to input a code on the panel or using your fingerprints.

Pressing his palm against the panel the door opened to a dark room that was kitted out with the latest soundproofing equipment that you needed.

Against the wall was a large bed, that had satin sheets. On the ceiling was a large mirror that would show the occupants of the bed and a mirror on the side of the wall. Similar to the room that they all slept together in the Prince Charming hotel.

"Wow..." Nicole said in wonder walking out the closet holding fur handcuffs and a vibrating dildo. "You guys are kinky."

"Those aren't mine." Max laughed.

Nicole shook her head. "I am not too sure about that. You have lost you memory."

Plucking the dildo from her hands Max placed it near his groin. "Still not as big as mine." He joked.

Slapping him on the chest with the handcuffs Nicole laughed. "I am not going to comment on that. I just hope you are not filming yourself."

Putting the stuff back Max walked out the room with her. "There was this one time when we went for our school reunion that we were filmed by this old pervert that own the only hotel in the town."

"No way!" She gasped steering the pot. "How?"

Sitting back on the stool Max began to tell her the story of how with the video tape Natasha could identify Tiffany of being their stalker.

"Did you know that Tiffany came to see me when I was pregnant." Nicole began. "She wanted to get close to me to get my babies as she thought they were yours."

Max looked at her shocked. "You didn't tell me this."

Looking everywhere but not at Max as she felt ashamed of herself. "I was a different person then and so were you. I couldn't approach you. We never talked like this. It was hello... take off your clothes and moan."

Sitting back Max laughed. "Oh, my gosh, I didn't realise I was that bad. I did take you to dinner a couple of times."

Nicole rolled her eyes. "In which you continued to talk about your secretary the entire time or football."

Lips lifting on the side in a smirk Max couldn't help but smile. "If only I knew what I know now."

"Which is what?" Nicole stood there with her hand on her hips.

"That your food might give me diarrhoea ... Owe!" Before he could finish the sentence, Nicole flung a spoonful of bolognaise at him. "Now I have to clean that up. Since my wife left me. I got no one to wait on me hand and foot."

"Poor you. Best get to cleaning then." She turned back round to finish the supper. She was happy that she told Max about Tiffany. Nicole realised that she liked having this friendship with Max. She was content.

Daniel picked up his food heading to the table that housed all white males. He was given a rundown of American prison life by his useless lawyer. He couldn't believe that he has been sentence for two months in prison just for breaking an injunction. As soon as he was out he would be heading home leaving that bitch alone forever.

The kid wasn't his, and he didn't want to end up like that whore Tiffany, dead. He managed to steal almost a million away from Hanna and the house that she had in England he already managed to get her to sign it away to him.

That bitch really does need to learn to read what it is she was signing. Getting up from his table heading back to his cell another black inmate knocked into his shoulder.

This was the point that his lawyer told him. They were testing him see what type of person he was.

"Move!" Daniel said with a lot of menace in his voice staring with his one eye at the bigger inmate. He swallowed his fear. He can't show the males here that was he afraid.

"So, you're the new fish around here?" The guy said walking around Daniel.

Daniel began to move not letting the man get behind him. "I ain't no fish. Boy" Daniel snarled the last word. He could see that they were gaining a lot of attention.

"Boy?" The man body appeared to have gotten larger. "I would need to show you British people proper English."

Daniel looked around, he could see that the guards have turned a blind eye on what was happening. Daniel hoped that the first guy that tested him was smaller that way they might leave him alone so that he could do his time in peace.

Knowing that this physical fight he couldn't win Daniel pulled out his trump card. "Doesn't matter what you teach me. As soon as Pookie get here he teach you a lesson."

They guy suddenly back off appearing timid. "You know Pookie."

Looking around Daniel saw that his name inspire fear in every individual. "Yeah I know Pookie."

The guy suddenly smiled slapping him on the back. "Why didn't you say so. Have a good day, Pookie don't need to know about this."

He walked away before Daniel could say anything further. Another week into his stay He noticed the difference that everyone was treating him. Like he held their respect. Like he runs the prison.

Natasha sat in the car outside their old apartment building. She was just about to go inside when she noticed Nicole coming out with Max.

Max seemed happy, happier than she seen him in a long time. She watched him as he waved Nicole off in the taxi, then he turned around frozen to the spot as he made eye contact with her in the car.

Natasha wanted to flee. To turn the car engine on and speed all the way home to where Marcus was waiting with her kids.

She saw that he remained at the same spot at the entrance of the building across the street making no moves to come towards her.

Natasha swallowed her fear. This was her husband she came here to get him back. Nicole will not stand in her way. Picking up her bag she exited the car to cross the street to Max.

"Hi." He said greeting her.

"Hi." Natasha replied offering a little wave feeling awkward. "I see that you had a visitor."

Max smiled his blue eyes raking over Natasha body. She will always be the one for him. "Yeah. How are the children. Marcus said he is bringing them over in the morning."

Natasha nodded. "I cooked some dinner. Just chicken and rice." She reached into her bag taking out the container.

"Thanks." Max took it away from her. "I am starving." He lied. "I am always a fan of your cooking. Please tell me you are finished with this healthy eating. There was never anything wrong with your body."

Natasha blushed her face heating up looking everywhere but at the blue intensity of his eyes. "No, I have learnt to embrace my body. Thanks to you and Marcus."

Max reached up to touch her cheek. "I like it when you blush."

"Come home." Natasha begged. "I was a bitch to you. I didn't think that you would ever leave me. When Marcus got shot and nearly died. I was so focused on him I shut you out. I did not pick Marcus over you. I love you both. I am incomplete without you."

"Tasha." Max began but Natasha placed her finger on his lips.

"Please, if there is a chance for us. We must try, how about a date." Natasha said as she thought he was about to refuse her.

"I would love to return back home but..." Max snaked a hand through his black hair. "I don't know who I am. The man that you got too knew in five years I don't know him myself. What happens if I never regain my memory?"

She framed his face with her hands. "Then I will love you all the same. I rather us grow together than apart. You can learn to know me and I you."

Taking his hand in hers Natasha turned to face her car. "Come let me take you home to our family."

Without a second thought Max followed her, she was his dream since he was little. She was the other part of his heart. He would follow her to hell and back if she requested it of him. Powerless to deny her he followed her who carried his heart. Home to his brother and children.

**

Richard, Hanna and Natasha father clicked off the phone. He been staying with Andrea and Paul since he wanted to end his life due to depression.

"How is Hanna." Andrea asked moving past him into the kitchen. He couldn't help but notice the figure hugging dress she had on. She always looked beautiful since in high school when they once briefly dated.

Clearing his throat and his mind Richard answered. "She is fine. Natasha was talking about a group holiday to Disney land with the kids. Max has been steadily getting bits of his memory back."

"See!" Angela laughed taking the seasoned meat out the fridge. "I told you that he would get his memory back when he starts living the life he meant too. A month back at home and he got more back than what he got in the hospital."

Paul came walking kitchen placing his briefcase on the table. Kissing his wife on the cheek, he gently laid a hand on his friend since high school back.

"How did the interviews for the new school position go today?" Richard asked forcing himself to take his eyes away as Paul discreetly cupped his hand up his wife dress giving her ass a squeeze.

"It went good. We manage to fill two positions for the fall when the kids come back." Paul stepped away from his wife looking at his friend. "How was your day today."

Looking away from Andrea. "I just worked on the new book that I am writing." Richard said with a straight face. Not giving anything away to his best friend. Not letting him know that less than an hour ago, he was balls deep in his wife.

"Can't wait to read it when its finished." Paul said with a smile.

That night Richard had to put his ear phones in as he couldn't stand to hear the cries and moans of Andrea, even as he his hand travelled south and he imagined that it was him that was giving her that pleasure.

**

Daniel was happy, prison life doesn't seem as bad as it should be. As long as no one takes him for no bitch then it was fine.

"Where you going?" Daniel asked him cell mate.

"I am being transferred." He said. "To medium secure. I think the government need my help on some cyber shit."

"Good luck." Daniel shook the guys hand as he left. The guy was only in here for hacking the C.I.A he should be in a hole somewhere but he said he Is holding them ransom with some material he stole from them.

Who know if that is true. Daniel realise every lie in prison about why they are there. If you in for something small everyone lies to make it something bigger. So, that no one would touch them.

"You back to your old cell." Daniel heard the guard say to the new inmate.

He blinked with his one good eye, looking in horror at his new cell mate.

"Fuck you." Pookie said to the C.O as he placed his stuff on the top bunk.

The C.O looked once at Daniel smiling them turned and walked out the room.

"What are you doing here?" Daniel asked afraid. Last time he seen him was in the hotel room when he robbed his car keys.

Pookie sneered at him. "I am here because of you bitch. Because you got yourself arrested. They were out looking for the car. If it wasn't for you and your bitch I wouldn't be here."

Daniel wisely said nothing. He had a month left of his stay before he could return to England. The C.O came around to the cell again knocking on the bar. "Lights out!"

Pookie grunted not staying anything as the guy left, then began to unbutton his clothes. Daniel looked away sliding back on the bottom bunk. Hoping to keep quiet and out the way.

"Take your clothes off fish." Pookie told him.

"What?" Daniel didn't understand what Pookie was going on about.

"Don't let me tell you again bitch. I said take you god damn clothes off or would you want me to come over there and make you." Pookie took off his shoes lining them up.

"No!" Daniel backed away in fear. "I ain't gay."

"I heard you been shouting my name out in this place. Only bitches do that." Pookie took a step towards him. "Time for me to bust those cheeks."

Daniel realised now why they left him alone. They thought he was Pookie property.

Daniel stay in prison for the next four weeks were not at all like his first month.

He wished then that he left Hanna alone and never bothered her in the first place. He made a promise to himself that he would never step foot in America again.

**

"What do you mean that you haven't got the third suite?" Hanna said.

"You requested three, two bedroom suites." The manager lady said. "The third one with our apologies, have some plumbing issues. We only have a one bedroom suite available. Our sister hotel will be available to put up the other occupant."

Hanna sighed looking at her family. Natasha was currently sitting with all the children with Marcus whilst the rest of the adult, Andrea, Paul, Max and Her fiancés try and sort out the mess.

"It's a no brainer." Richard, Hanna dad said. "You need the second room for the kids. I can go to the sister hotel."

Hanna shook her head. "Then we all be split up. You can't be by yourself."

Max looked to Richard, thinking the same as Hanna. Richard shouldn't be alone on the family holiday. They already called around for other hotels but due the large nature of the family nowhere is suited for them.

Paul spoke first. "He can stay with us. We have the suite he can sleep on the sofa."

The manager smiled relieved. She didn't want to be the one that suggest that. "That sofa is a pull out double bed. It is suitable for his needs."

"Thank the lord." Hanna let out a sigh.

"I can't stay on the sofa." Richard eyes darted from Andrea to Paul, he can barely take it when listening to them having sex in the house when he was a few doors down now he would be just a few metres away.

"Dad. Don't be like this." Hanna complained.

Andrea looked at Richard. "Richard, it won't be a problem with you staying."

"You sure?" He looked her in the eye. He didn't want to make things awkward for her.

Andrea nodded. "I am."

The manager gave them their room keys happy to see that the situation has been resolved due to an error on their end.

The kids where happy to get settle in their hotel room. It was a blessing that all the suites were on the same floor that way it made it easier.

"Do you want to get some food now or later?" Hanna asked everyone in the living room of Natasha suite.

Natasha let out a fake yawn looking giving a hot look to Max loving the new re-discovery that they were having. "I am so tired. I already rung for room service for the kids. Its eight pm already. The boys want their sleep so they can go Disney world in the morning."

Hanna grinned she hoped her sister would say that as she wanted a night alone with her men. "I totally agree with you."

Andrea, Paul and Richard decided to eat in their room as well. As soon as their meal was done they had the maid service pull out the bed in the living area to get Richard sorted for the night. The living room was large enough to have the pull-out bed open all the time as they had two sofas as well as dining table and tv in the room.

"You look beautiful tonight." Paul said walking Andrea into the bedroom pushing the door half shut.

"Do I?" She gave him a sultry look pulling down the straps of her red dress exposing her full breasts.

Licking his lips Paul began to unbutton his shirt throwing it on the floor along with his pants. Soon he was standing there naked his big manhood standing to attention.

Andrea stepped out her dress using her beckoning her husband to her. Paul gathered her in his arms kissing her passionately. After all these years of marriage and he was still hot for her.

Falling back on the bed Andrea straddled him slipping her moist heat over him till he slipped inside her. Moaning she let her head fall back then began to ride.

Opening her eyes, she saw Richard by the door, looking at them having sex. She locked eyes with him as she rode up and down her husband. Paul hand reached up to touch her b'reasts, moulding them. He bent his knee to raise himself up to spear her.

Andrea let out a loud cry. "Join us."

Richard stood there frozen. Paul grabbed Andrea at the hips turning her over so that she was on her back looking up as thrusting away in his wife. "I was wondering when you were going to join us."

Swallowing Richard stepped inside the room undoing his clothes, closing the door behind him.

**

Hanna walked into her dad suite that he is sharing with Andrea and Paul, noticing that his bed was fully made again. The maid service doesn't normally come that early to her suite to clean for the past four days.

"Dad." Hanna called out.

"Sorry I was just using the bathroom." Richard came out the bedroom flustered. "You okay."

She nodded. "I just came to say remember we having an early lunch. Where is Andrea? She meant to go shopping with me."

"She having a bath." Richard said.

Hanna looked confused. "Wasn't you just using the bathroom."

Richard looked everywhere but at his daughter. "I needed to go. So, I went quickly."

Hanna shrugged. She been in the bathroom plenty of times when Justin or Jackson needed it. "Okay."

Sitting in the restaurant all the Sinclair's and Mr Adams sat at the table as the children played nearby by the fountain.

"I would like to propose a Toast." Max said standing up with a flute of champagne. "We have been through a lot these past five years. Kidnapping, murders, stalking, lies, lost memory. Everything..." they all chuckled at what he said glad that he regained his memory. "It has made us stronger instead of breaking us. We may have lost Sarah Adams but she would never be forgotten. I would like to say I hope this is now the end to all the drama. And look forward to our happy life together forever!"

"Together forever!" They all toasted.

Underneath the table Andrea held the hand of Richard as Paul had his hand on her knee. A new beginning for the future.

The End.
