I heard a phone go off from the living room but we both ignored it.

I was too fixated on Joshua to care otherwise.

Joshua grabbed my hand gently off his face into his, and then he grabbed my other hand. He lunged upwards pulling me with him from the kitchen floor. The room was still dark, but as time passed by my eyes adjusted and everything became recognizable.

Josh and I were close enough to be in an embrace of sort.

Too bad huh?

The heated close encounter left me absolutely breathless.

"To answer the obvious. Yes it is a scar." He said somewhat sarcastically.

And then my breathing came back.

He's back.

Despite the fact that his personality definitely didn't ditch him, his hands still held onto mine.

"Yea duh of course." I said, emphasising my stupidity.

My hands instinctively tried to pull back but he still held on strong not letting me go. I glanced upwards and noticed that he still stared down on me with those brown eyes.

Slowly, with sly movements, his long arms wrapped themselves around my waist and pulled me in. Joshua only wore pajama bottoms, so you could understand why being so close to a guy will send all my senses into a frenzy.

"Are you cold?" Joshua asked.

I was confused at first but then I noticed that I was shivering lightly.

"I guess so." I snuggled closer to him, letting his body warmth draw into mine.

"I was about seven." Joshua started off saying, I gazed up with a perplexed expression. "Dad told me that Eli, Ryan and me decided to go to the park. Eli had this great idea that we should do tricks off the swing set. So Ryan dared me to do a front flip off of it. I think I didn't want to, but of course I couldn't chicken out. I did it, the front flip I mean."

He let out a sigh, "the landing, not so much."

One of his arms snaked loose and reached up to his forehead. He pulled back his hair revealing the scar. "One night in the hospital and fourteen stitches later, I was okay."

"So was there any side effects?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Nope." He replied.

So this accident wasn't the cause of the 'disspareance' of his memories.

"I'm sorry Anndraia if you thought that maybe that's why I can't remember anything." He said regrettably.

Joshua placed his arm back around me and pulled me closer, being in his arms felt wonderful.

I manage to bury my face into his chest while he rested his head on top of mine.

Then he tighten his hold on me.

I breathed in deeply.

He smells like citrus and vanilla.

I turned my head to the side and upwards and saw his face close to mine.

Maybe I should-

"What was that?" Josh asked.

"What was what?"

"I think I heard something."

I turned around and the stair lights were on. I heard Leia and Emma coming down the stairs giggling and hushing each other.

My eyes widen, what if they caught me with Josh. They'll start asking question and I would have to reveal everything.

"Josh go-"

'No wait-"

"Go!" I demanded. I pushed him away.

He stared at me still but I kept persuading him to leave. He quickly walked away back to the living room where all my brothers feel asleep at.

"Psstttt. Andy." Emma said. I looked back up and saw that Emma and Leia were in the kitchen.

"Yes?"

"What happened?"

"What do you mean?"

"You were gone for like an hour." Leia explained.

"Oh, well-"

"Dang Andy, what happened?" I looked around and saw the mess that was all over the floor.

And he leaves you with all of the mess.

"I dropped all the food." I said.

Leia and Emma looked at each other and then back at me.

I gave them a guilty smile.

Leia smiled back but then she looked around some more. "Oh why is there a pan on the floor?"

Next to all the food sprawled all over the floor, was a pan.

The one that I hit Josh with on accident.

"That's what I was using to carry all of the food."

"Seriously?" Emma asked.

"Well what do you expect me to do? Use a pot?"

"You sure are weird." Leia said.

Joshua and Andy swam in the pool with their kiddie floats.

"Joshua be careful." Mrs. Adams called out. But she didn't need to worry, the pool was only two feet deep. But of course, mothers will be mothers.

"Andy, stop fidgeting." Mr. Michael said as he tried to adjust her life vest.

Yet Andy continued to fidget all because she hated swimming.

"There's nothing to worry about baby girl. It's just water."

But of course this didn't stop the upcoming tantrum. She cried and plead and whined to get out of the water. but her father woulnd't budge.

"NONONONONONO, NO." Her little face produced little tears. "I want mom-mmmmmy."

Her mother at the time was taking care of the newborn triplets.

"Mommy isn't here darling-"

But Andy could care less.

"Andy no." Joshua said all of a sudden. Gradually Andy's tears and childish tantrum went away.

Mr. Michaels and Mrs. Adams looked at each other.

"Jeez, maybe he could make her clean up her room."

"Joshua." I said softly while waking up the tender smell of pancakes and bacon.

"Mmmm bacon." Emma said in her sleep.

Leia woke up after a while, then she rubbed her eyes, closed them again and reopened them. Her petite frame was hidden underneath the bundle of blankets that we seized from the linen closet.

"Looking good Andy." She muttered. "The morning does wonders to your hair." She managed to let out a chuckle.

I quickly got up and looked in the mirror. My hair was indescribable least to say.

"Dude!" I heard someone else say. I turned around and saw Emma stretching out her arms, then she said something between her yawns. "You look like Frankenstein."

Leia snorted and laughed after Emma's comment about me. Then I grabbed a pillow and threw it at Emma.

Everybody left along with Joshua, that morning after breakfast.

Josh and I both noticed that we both were glancing each other every now and then.

He would smirk and I would smile.

Jarred and Leia on the other hand couldn't get enough of each other, I think he finally asked her on a date.

Because when I said goodbye to her, Jarred previously pulled her aside and talked to her and her face was blushing ten different shades of pink.

Sunday passed and Monday finally came around.

School seemed endless.

But I couldn't help but keep on thinking about Joshua and that moment we shared.

Maybe just maybe he changed.

Leia and I walked the halls to Gym class and. Then Emma suddenly walked along side us.

"Did you hear?"

"Hear what?" I asked.

Emma readjusted her books in her hands and the proceeded to finish her gossip. "Rachael broke up with Tim."

Leia eyes bugled out. "No way? They've been going out since like sophomore year. What happened?"

Emma looked around to make sure nobody was listening. "Well according to the grapevine, Tim was at a Derick's bash when we were having our slumber party. And he was caught with Katie in one of the guest rooms."

"No!" Leia blurted out.

I just stood there listening to the gossip caring less. It's sad that they broke up after so long, but if a guy is so tempted by other females then he wasn't worth it in the first place.

"Well it's doesn't end there." Emma continued. "Katie wasn't just there for the heck of it."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"She was waiting for someone. There was suppose to be a little get together between the two of them." She gossiped even further.

"Well why wasn't that 'someone' there?" Curiosity got the best of me.

"Because Josh was at your house Andy."
