David placed his hand on my stomach. Tears filled his eyes.
He gently kissed my skin and put his head against me.
"T-This is our baby.."
I smiled as he whispered.
"I love you so much Liza. I love you and this child both so much."
"We love you too babe."
I got down on my knees with him. He gently placed a kiss on my lips.
"I can't believe you're having my kid, our kid," he smiled.
I had never seen him so happy. His face was bright. His eyes lit up.
This is what love looked like. Everything was pure, and sweet.
A week later....
"We're here," David shouted as we entered his mom's house.
I called my mom and told her to meet us here too.
We were going to tell them.
David pulled two chairs beside each other. I grabbed his mom's hand and guided her to the seat.
"What are you two planning?"
David did the same with my mom.
We stood in front of them. both with wide smiles.
David wrapped his arms around me from be hide.
"We have to tell you something."
My mom looked at his. They shared a confused look.
"Are you getting married?!"
David smiled.
"Maybe after this," I said.
Both of them smiled.
"You're having a baby?"
I looked at David and nodded.
My mom jumped up and screamed.
"Liza! David! That's amazing!"
David's mother hugged us both along with my mom.
David leaned down and nuzzled his head into my neck. He placed his hands on my stomach, tracing hearts with his fingers.
And to think, I thought love wasn't real....
