3 years later....
I pulled Liza closer to me.
"David?"
"Yeah babe?"
"Can we talk?"
My heart stopped. What would she say? Was she leaving me?
"About?"
She sat up in the bed and looked down at her hands. She smiled at the ring i had given her at graduation.
"I need to tell you something."
She placed her small hands on mine.
"Anything Liza," i said pushing her hair be hide her ear.
"I love you.. a lot."
"You say that all the time," i laughed.
"But this thing is something that will make that love last forever."
My face shifted.
"Liza, whats going on?"
She teared up and smiled.
"I'm pregnant."
My small smile grew to a large one. I hugged her tightly as tears streamed down both of our faces.
She was having my child.
The girl i loved, was having my baby.
This was all I wanted in life.
I was going to be a father.
And there was one thing left to do....
