5 Years later
Anna POV
'Can you feel it?', I ask him, my voice high pitched due to the excitment that is going through me.
Allen keeps his hands on my stomach, concentrating deeply. Suddenly, his face breaks into a smile.
'That's our baby', I say softly. Allen wipes my face, I didnt realize that I had started crying.
'We're having a daughter, Anna. Can you beleive that?', he asks, kissing my forhead.
I laugh through my tears. 'I cant, really'.
'What do you want to name her?', Allen asks.
'Maybe we should ask Sydney', I say, and we burst out laughing, remembering Sydney's weirdest name suggestions.
'I think I know what I want to name her', I say after a while, stroking my big baby bump.
Allen smiles at me. 'Let me hear it'.
'Scarlette', I reply, feeling stinging pain on my eyes, as a wave of new tears wash over my face.This pregnancy is making me emotional, thats for sure.
'Hey, its okay....', Allen whispers, pulling me in for a hug.
I am in pure bliss now. I have everything, just like I had in the start.
A loving husband, a new house, and a new baby.
But there's one thing missing.
My best friend.
And naming my daughter Scarlette would make my best friend happy.
Thats all that matters to me.
In the end, it seems as if I have everything, after all.
