A/N: I understand if you guys don't understand or agree with what's going on in this chapter and on. But the thing is, I find it really cute. So I hope you guys will support my opinion as how much I support yours. Please do not insult not just me, but especially other who also disagree with your opinion. I just want to give you guys a chance to fantasize how season two of this wonderful anime would look like. Thank you for your consideration
Meta Knight couldn't sleep. There was so much going on in his head. What is this feeling? Meta Knight thought as he watched Kirby sleep soundly. Meta Knight let out a deep silent sigh as he stepped outside of his room and looked at the stars. The stars are sure bright tonight, Meta Knight thought. However, the longer he looked at the stars, more Kirby illusions he saw. He shut his eyes tight and shook his head violently. What am I thinking? What is wrong with my brain? He tried to fall asleep by going back into his room, but he just couldn't fall asleep. He decided to spend the rest of the night staying up looking at the stars, trying to not have Kirby image in his mind.
Next morning, Meta Knight was cooking breakfast for Sword and Blade Knight, like he does every day. He only knows how to cook army food, so by now, Sword and Blade Knight cannot stand the taste and smell. Army food never tasted and smelled good anyways. Sword and Blade Knight always had to choke it down. Again, Sword and Blade Knight were awake by the foul smell that abused their nostrils. Sword and Blade Knight groaned as they woke up. They wanted to avoid the food at least today.
"Meta Knight!" Sword Knight greeted as he was caught trying to escape. "We... uh... Blade and I are going out for training!"
"Storainus skorait!" Blade Knight added.
"What about your breakfast?" Meta Knight asked.
"We're not that hungry to eat breakfast!" Sword Knight replied quickly.
"Bornadum kristen kenyum!" Blade Knight elaborated quickly and they both ran out as quickly as possible to go down to eat at Kawasaki's restaurant.
Meta Knight sighed. He already knew that Sword and Blade Knight didn't enjoy his food. He already made enough for three of them and hates wasting food. But then he remembered that Kirby stayed with him for the night. "Poyo..." Kirby woke up just in time.
"Kirby, will you join me for breakfast?" Meta Knight asked.
"Poyo!" Kirby replied excitedly.
Meta Knight served him the food he made, and also made a plate for himself. Kirby took a bite and savored it. "Poyo-ii!" Kirby's eyes started to sparkle, then he continued to eat some more. Meta Knight was happy that Kirby was enjoying his cooking. He took off his mask so that he can eat, a usual habit that he does when he's eating with Sword and Blade Knight. "Poyo?" It was the first time Kirby saw his face behind the mask. Meta Knight just noticed that he took off his mask in front of Kirby. He also had white eyes, pink cheeks, and small mouth. He started to blush, put his mask back on, and ran outside of his room. "Poyo, poyo!" Kirby handed the plate to Meta Knight. He only took one bite and Kirby wanted him to finish it since he knew the pain of not being able to finish a meal and stay hungry.
"It... it is fine, Kirby," Meta Knight said. "I'm not hungry."
"Poyo..." Kirby said.
"You can have it, Kirby," Meta Knight said quickly and walked away.
"Poyo..." Kirby said as he saw Meta Knight walked away.
He went back to the room and finished his food. He never ate this kind of unique food before. After he cleaned his plate, he had his eyes laid on Meta Knight's unfinished plate. Even though Meta Knight said that he can have his breakfast, Kirby just couldn't lay a finger on it. He covered the plate with a pot top and left it for Meta Knight so that he can eat it later. "Poyo," Kirby was proud of his idea of covering the food with the pot top. Then he snickered to himself as he held his blushing cheek. But then his smile disappeared and sadly walked out.
Meta Knight quietly stayed at the top of the castle roof. He had too much stuff in his mind. Can it be?! No! It cannot happen! It is impossible! It should not happen! Meta Knight thought. What about him? There was something different about him. But what if my prediction is correct? Meta Knight let out a deep sigh of frustration. He doesn't know what he's feeling, and he wanted to know. To get his mind off of it, he let out a deep relieving breath, again, and started to meditate. He let the cool breeze cool his stuffy head.
Kirby was walking around the castle with a really perplexed mind. Since he woke up 200 years early, he still needed about 198 more years to mature. But he still doesn't know anything about maturity. But he feels his face burning and heart racing when he's with Meta Knight. "Poyo..." Kirby also doesn't understand what he's feeling.
"Kirby!" Tiff called from distance.
"Poyo?" Kirby turned to Tiff.
"You... you want some cake?" Tiff asked. She saw what happened with Pooch and wanted to make him feel better.
"Poyo!" Kirby said excitedly and ran towards Tiff to have some cake.
Tiff passed him a piece of cake, Kirby grabbed a fork, cut of a piece and joyfully put it in his mouth. "Poyo!"
"I'm glad you like it, Kirby," Tiff said as she watched him eat. She also felt very bad for Kirby losing Pooch by his side. First he lost Peeve the robotic dog, then he lost Chilly the snowman, and now, he lost Pooch the guardian cat. He lost so many friends that he experience enough depression for the year... actually, two years. It's been two years since Kirby came to Cappy Town.
Of course, everyone in Cappy Town knew about it and were getting prepared for Kirby's second anniversary. This time, they didn't have to worry about not letting Kirby know anything about it; they were going to throw a party openly. So everyone in Cappy Town was openly setting up for second Kirby anniversary.
Tiff knew that she doesn't need to keep the whole thing secret, so she decided to tell him. "Hey, Kirby," Tiff said. "Did you know that it's been two years since you came to Cappy Town?"
"Poyo?" Kirby asked.
"Really, Kirby, we're gonna throw you a party in Cappy Town today," Tiff said. "It's time you have to cool your head after what happened with eNeMeE. You never got a chance to take a day off. So let's just play together today."
"Poyo-poyo!" Kirby cheered.
"The party will start in the evening, so we have time to play," Tiff said. "Wanna go outside now and get some fresh air?"
"Poyo, poyo," Kirby was trying to say something.
"Hm? What do you want to do?" Tiff asked.
Kirby looked around, grabbed a pencil and a paper.
"You just want to draw?" Tiff asked. Kirby just kept drawing without answering her. Kirby drew Meta Knight really sloppy, but it was recognizable. He showed it to Tiff and tried to say that he wanted to play with him.
"So, you want to play with Meta Knight too?" Tiff asked.
"Poyo," Kirby answered.
"Well, let's go find him," Tiff said.

Meanwhile, Meta Knight was back to his room. He saw his plate covered with pot top. He opened it and saw his unfinished breakfast. "Kirby left it for me even though I said he can have it..." His eyes turned magenta as he said it. He gently took off his mask and started to finish his food. Even he thought that his cooking was not that great, but it's because he's been eating the same type of food for almost 50,000 years; he's just eating for survival. But the image on Kirby enjoying his food kept coming into his mind. He thought about it as he continued to eat. After he was done eating, he washed the dishes and stepped outside.
"Oh, Meta Knight!" Tiff said. "There you are! I was looking for you!"
"Me? Why?" Meta Knight asked.
"Kirby wants to play with you," Tiff explained.
"Poyo..." Kirby got scared all of a sudden that he went behind Tiff and hid.
"Kirby, what's wrong?" Tiff asked. "What happened to you two?"
"Nothing," Meta Knight said. "Sorry, I am pretty occupied at the moment."
"I see. But I think Kirby can wait," Tiff said. Then she turned to Kirby and asked, "Can you, Kirby?"
"Poyo," Kirby quietly replied.
"Well then, see you later, Meta Knight," Tiff said. Meta Knight nodded and cleared his throat, and then walked away.
Whew... that was close... I hope he doesn't know... But... this shouldn't be happening to me, Meta Knight thought. Something said that Kirby thought the same thing too.
"Kirby, let's go do something else," Tiff said.
"Poyo," Kirby said.
"But Kirby, you wanted to play with Meta Knight," Tiff said. "But why did you hide from him when he came?"
"Po... poyo..." Kirby said with deep embarrassment.
"Well, let's worry about it later," Tiff said. "It's your day, you shouldn't feel bad about anything."
"Po-yo!" Kirby replied cheerfully.
They both went to Cappy Town so that Kirby can enjoy his day. She even showed people setting up for party for him. "See, Kirby? Everyone setting up a party just for you!"
"Hello, Kirby! Let's have fun tonight!" Mayor said.
"We'll party with you until we fall asleep!" Hana said.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby jumped with excitement.
"Hey, Kirby! I'll cook more special food for you today!" Kawasaki said as he set up plates, bowls, and utensils.
"Poyo!" Kirby cheered happily.
"See, Kirby? You look much better when you smile!" Tiff said.
"Poyo~" Kirby replied.
"Hey, Kirby!" Tuff called from a distance.
"Wanna play soccer with us?" Iroo offered from a distance.
"Go ahead and play," Tiff said. "Meanwhile, I'll help them decorate."
"Poyo!" Kirby replied.

"SIRE! SIRE! WE'RE IN BIG TROUBLE!" Escargoon panicked as he went to Dedede, who was tanning with sunlight.
"Whachu fussin' about?" Dedede asked as he raised his sunglasses.
"Cappies are planning another plot to throw you out!" Escargoon informed.
"That's true?!" Dedede asked as he jumped up!
"It's certain this time, sire!" Escargoon said. "I even saw a rocket that looks strong enough to destroy your castle!"
"Take me to Cappy Town and get the Waddle Dees!" Dedede demanded.

"All right! We'll be done by evening at this rate!" Tiff said as she looked around. "Sure, Kirby knows about the party, but I bet he doesn't know about this!" She said as she looked at the rocket for special event. "I can't wait to see Kirby's happy face again!"
"ATTACK!" Dedede ordered the Waddle Dees.
"Huh?" "What?" "The King?" They all ad-libbed while Dedede, Escargoon, and the Waddle Dees were destroying all the decoration.
"Take that! And that! And that!" Dedede exclaimed as he destroyed the large rocket.
"Oh, no! It took us days to make that rocket!" Tiff's face was full or horror.
"Well, nice try, girly!" Dedede said. "I won't make everyone prepare any more plot against me!"
"What do you mean?" Tiff asked.
"Don't play dumb with us!" Escargoon said. "You were gonna shoot that rocket at the castle!"
"Well you done it again!" Tiff said. "You destroyed the decoration last year, and you destroyed it again! Why do you always do this on Kirby's anniversary?!"
"Say what?" Dedede asked.
"Today is Kirby's second anniversary, and we were gonna throw a party for him!" Tiff said.
"Yeah?! Well what was that rocket?!" Dedede demanded.
"That was for Kirby! We wanted him to see the most beautiful fireworks that he'd ever see!" Tiff said.
"We worked days and days for that rocket!" Mayor said sadly.
"And now it's ruined!" Chief Bookem said.
Now the atmosphere around Escargoon and Dedede was awkward. "Sire," Escargoon called under his breath as he elbowed him slightly. "Do something about it."
"Well what am I supposed to do?!" Dedede asked under his breath.
"Just fix the whole thing and get the same rocket for them!" Escargoon suggested.
"How am I supposed to get the same rocket?" Dedede asked.
"Well, here's the blueprint on how we made them," Tiff said as she overheard their low voices. "You can rebuild it with how much money you have, can you?"
"Fine! Gimme that blueprint!" Dedede looked over it. "Let's go back!" He ordered.

"What can I do for you, your majesty?" Susie asked.
"I need to build this rocket, and I need it now!" Dedede demanded as he showed her the blueprint.
"Well sure," Susie said. "We'll send the rocket builders right away." She called the rocket builders and sent them over. They took a look at the blueprint and immediately started to build the rocket in his garden.
"They sure work fast sire," Escargoon said.
"Well there's gotta be thousands of them!" Dedede said as he expected them to be fast, or even faster than the pace they are working in right now.
After few minutes, the rocket was is shape and ready to be launched. "All right, now scram!" Dedede ordered as he opened the transporter so that they can go back to Susie. "Waddle Dees! Time to make delivery!"
They delivered the rocket back to the cappies. "I told ya I can do it!" Dedede said proudly.
"You promise there's no other trick in this?" Tiff asked.
"I saw them make it, so it's fine!" Dedede said.
She saw Kirby coming from distance. "Just in time! Places, everyone."
As Kirby came near, everyone said, "HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!" as they popped their party popper.
"Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby cheered excitedly.
"All right, Kirby! Get ready for the big surprise!" Tiff said as she lit the rocket. "Keep your eyes in the sky, Kirby." Kirby did so.
The rocket soared up to the air, and exploded, letting out bunch of fireworks of different forms of Kirby. First, it showed normal Kirby, then fire Kirby, stone Kirby, sword Kirby, cutter Kirby, cook Kirby, tornado Kirby, needle Kirby, fighter Kirby, ice Kirby, ninja Kirby, parasol Kirby, mic Kirby, wheel Kirby, mirror Kirby, hammer Kirby, bomb Kirby, jet Kirby, spark Kirby, crash Kirby, broom Kirby, and water Kirby. Finally, for the final blow, it said 'HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY KIRBY!'. Everyone applauded when that showed up, even Dedede and Escargoon clapped.
"Poyo! Poyo! Poyo! Poyo!" Kirby happily cheered.
"We're glad that you're here, Kirby!" Hana said.
"Thanks for everything!" Buttercup said.
"We all love you, Kirby!" Mayor said.
Today was definitely a happy day for everyone. Everyone was eating, drinking, chatting, and dancing. Meta Knight came in the middle of the party. "Hey, Meta Knight! Would you like to join us?" Tiff offered. Meta Knight nodded. "Well, there are still a lot of food for you to eat. And feel free to join any conversation with others. I'm pretty sure they'd love to have you here." Meta Knight stayed near the table where Kirby savored his plate of food. He started to build courage within his heart. Then finally, he had guts to walk over and talk to Kirby, "Kirby, I need to talk to you, privately. I just need a minute."
"Poyo," Kirby said, a little bit uneasy. Then he followed Meta Knight out of the chaos. He took him to quieter place where the moonlight was the brightest in Cappy Town. "Kirby..." he started. "First of all, I'm proud of your achievements that you have accomplished over the year."
"Poyo," Kirby replied, still a little bit uneasy.
"And you have matured so fast over two years, faster than I expected," Meta Knight added.
"Poyo," Kirby replied with a little bit of relief.
"But I want to make one thing certain," Meta Knight said.
"Poyo?" Kirby asked, uneasy again.
"Do you feel a little nervous when you're around me?" He asked modestly.
"Po... po... poyo..." Kirby replied.
"I see," Meta Knight said understandingly. (Note that they are able to communicate.)
"Poyo... po..." Kirby replied, with watery eyes and head tilted down a little bit.
"I... uh... I felt the same way too, Kirby," Meta Knight said as he noticed Kirby's watery eyes.
"Poyo?" Kirby looked up.
"And I did not want to admit at first," Meta Knight continued. "But, I have to admit it now... this feeling is real... do you feel the same way?"
"Poyo," Kirby blushed.
Meta Knight held both of Kirby's hands. "Kirby... should we accept our... feelings... for each other?"
"Po-po-po... yo..." Kirby replied, looking down, blushing even more than before. Then they quietly and gently embraced.
I wonder how he can also like me... Meta Knight thought. I am around 50,000 years old... and he is around -198 years old... I never thought he would understand this feeling in his age... and more importantly, our age difference is... huge.
Kirby hugged him even tighter.
I know people may think this is wrong... Meta Knight thought. This should be a secret... for now... Although I am glad that his feelings were same as mine... no I should not be glad! I should be questioning! But he does have the feeling... And I do not want to hurt his feelings... why does he...
