Jace's pov
Jace didn't know what to do. How to feel. How to react.
It was all new to him, this whole having to deal with a woman, much less a mate.
They were waiting by the car when the girls appeared.
They barely packed anything which was weird for women since they tended to own many clothes.
He was also confused by her choice of clothing: black long-sleeved T-shirt and dark leggings along with black combat boots.
It was very hot outside.
Tommy headed to her taking her bag as well as his mate's.
She smiled brightly at him and pecked him on the cheek thanking him for his help, to which Tommy just stood there stunned, then he shook his head, smiled and made his way to the car as well to put her bag in.
Lionesse received a slap on the back of her head by Sarah for pecking her mate, to which Lionesse replied with a wink, laughing.
To say Jace was jealous would be an understatement.
He didn't know how to deal with such feelings.
Both his body and wolf craved the girl, wanted her by his side, wanted to claim her as his, but not his mind. No, his mind rejected even the thought of letting her get close to him, of letting her warm her way to his heart and make him care.
Never again, he promised himself once and he intended to keep that promise.
The girl didn't make her way towards the pack's cars but towards a black Porsche.
He was about to get in his car, when he felt a soft tap on his shoulder, startled to see it was her.
"What?" he asked, voice a little harsher than intended.
"Well, i don't know if you haven't noticed, but i don't know the way to your territory so i would need someone from your pack to ride with me" she said.
He snorted, "Take Dante"

Lionesse's pov
"Lead the way" she told Dante, as they both entered the car.
She immediately opened the roof, as she was claustrophobic.
Well how could she not after spending years in...NO, she scolded herself, she couldn't think like that.
She also wore her glasses to see better.
He tilted his head towards her, nodded, keeping his face blank and started showing her the way.
"So, how much time do we need in order to reach your home?" she asked not missing how little he talked.
He stiffly answered her question,
"The drive from Italy to Greece takes about 5 hours. The pack is located in Sparta"
"What a coincidence" she said, her pack was close-by then.
"Why a coincidence?"
"Oh nothing. But i must warn you that i am very tired, so you might want to stay alert. IF you don't want to wake up six feet under" she warned.
with that she stepped on the accelerator.
It was silent for about three hours.
Dante fell asleep about 2 hours ago so she turned off the radio not wanting to disturb him.
But her eyes started to droop, she barely slept 4 hours the past 2 days due to pack business.
So she woke him up by shaking him softly.
When he was wide awake she said,
"Hold the wheel for a second, Dante" and just like that she released the wheel and turned in her seat.
He rushes to hold the wheel before they could crash.
"ARE YOU CRAZY! TURN AROUND AND GRAB THE DAMN WHEEL BEFORE WE CRASH"
"Oh stop being such a wimp and nobody's gonna crash if you keep holding the wheel" she said.
"You're INSANE" he whisper yelled.
She could hear a car honking so she looked at it and saw Jace's horrified eyes and him screaming at her to turn back around in her seat.
Why all the fuss, she had no idea.
Then she turned around and held the wheel again, put the headphones in her ears and kept driving.
An hour later, her eyes were barely open and her stomach was begging for food.
"UGh WHAT THE HELL, I THINK I STARVED ENOUGH FOR ONE DAY, I'M PULLING OVER"
She swerved the car and hastily parked it, getting down.
Dante could only stare, with hands still clutching the seat.

Jace's pov
What the hell is wrong with that woman!
When he saw her turn around while still driving and especially at THAT speed he knew she was insane.
An hour later, she swerved the car and hastily parked.
What now! he thought.
She really needs to stop doing that and especially in these lands, where vampires roam.
His wolf was snarling at him to follow her and protect her, so he parked as well and got out screaming at her while slamming his door shut,
"What exactly is wrong with you? First you let go of the steering while still driving and now park the car like a maniac? What is wrong with-"
She interrupted him,
"I had complete control over my car, you could ask Dante and I am STARVING, so I'm going to get something to eat"
He turned around closing his eyes, to calm his nerves.
When he turned around he noticed she had already entered the restaurant.
He slammed the door open, earning glares from many people who jumped at the loud noise.
He, of course, ignored them and searched, spotting her ordering food.
When it was ready they sat and ate in silence before leaving.
"I think we should tell her about the vampires alpha" Dante said, to which Jace replied,
"No, nobody will tell any of them anything. All packs other that the warrior and royal packs believe they do not exist anymore. Let's keep it that way, last thing I want to deal with is a grop of amateurs trying to prove themselves getting killed".
Dante nodded.
The two cars set off again for another 2 hour drive to his territory.
They did stop after about half an hour for Lionesse to switched with Dante.
When they reached his territory, they got out of the cars.
"Welcome alpha" two warriors said as they stood guards.
Dante came and stood next to him saying,
"She is sleeping. I didn't want to wake her up. She seemed exhausted"
He headed to the car and shook her to wake her up.
If she was to survive in his territory, she shouldn't be such a spoiled little brat.
However, the moment his hand touched hers, she snapped her eyes open and was growling at him from the other side of the car.
He was shocked and so was she, her eyes were filled with alarm, until she seemed to realize that it was him, not an enemy and relaxed taking deep breaths.
She averted her eyes and said,
"You startled me" she whispered, then made her way to Tommy.
He stared at her for another moment wondering what was that all about, but he shook his head.
Not my concern, he thought as he made his way to his office.
