CHAPTER 10

Her eyes shot wide open as she sat straight up from her bed. Her heart was beating quickly which had her grasping for air. She held her hands on her chest, as she began to inhale and exhale. Her bedroom door had flew wide open, revealing not only Frankie but also Tyler as well as Steve and Dylan who soon along side him. Derek was no where to be seen which was a good thing for Samantha seeing as how she doesn't really want to see or talk to him at the moment.
Frankie was the first to go and comfort her while the others stayed behind and watched. He placed a hand on her black and rubbed it with his thumb which helped her calm down a bit more. The rest of the guys had left them all alone.
"It's okay. It was just a dream Sammy." She grabbed a fistful of his shirt and squeezed her eyes shut trying her best to forget about the memory/dream she had.
A knock was heard from the other side of Samantha's door which led to Frankie getting up from the bed and opening it himself. An annoyed groan was heard from Samantha once she saw who it was.
Derek gave her a look of sympathy but she didn't by it. He took a step closer which caused Frankie to take a step so that he was now in front of him. "Close enough," he said with a scowl look.
"What's your problem?" Derek glared at him.
An - Rosalie and Jacob moment anyone 😏 ???
Before anything could happen between the two, Samantha spoke up,"Frankie it's ok." He turned around and gave her a look saying are you sure. She nodded her head as a yes making Frankie turn back around to face Derek. "If you lay a finger on her or hurt her, I will rip your throat out," he threatened Derek then glanced back at Samantha.
"Dylan sent you here to talk to me?" She asked him once Frankie stepped out of the room.
He shook his head,"No, just came to apologize for how I was yesterday. You don't have to accept my apology. I just want you to hear me out."
He took my silence as a cue to continue on. "What I did was stupid and reckless but-. Can't you see that I still want to be with you? I know I probably have no chance with you anymore but a guy can dream right?"
"Derek, I can't give you another chance," she mumbled not really wanting to say what she was about to say to Derek.
"And why not?" He asks with his arms crossed.
"I imprinted on someone," she muttered but Derek heard her perfectly fine.
"What?" She glanced at him and saw the look he was giving her. His eyes gave nothing but emptiness.
"I'm sorry Derek. You know we can't control who it happens to," She said quickly afraid that he was going to do something.
"Who's the lucky guy?" He asks which took her by surprise.
"Jacob," was all she said before looking down at her hands that rested on her lap.
His eye softened a bit knowing that who she imprinted on wasn't a stranger,"Well I can't stop you from being with him. From what Tyler has been telling me it's hard to be away from them. Just- if he hurts you, you come tell me alright?"
Samantha pulled her covers off from her and pulled Derek into a hug,"Don't ever do that to me."
Soon enough, he wrapped his arms around her,"I promise I won't."

The sound of Samantha's phone had rang from where it sat on her nightstand making her pause the movie she was watching with Derek as well as Frankie who were both shoving pieces of kettle popcorn in their mouth. Once she had her phone in her hand, she didn't hesitate to answer it seeing as how it was Jacob who was calling her.
"Hey Jake," she greeted.
"Hey Sammy so I was wondering if six is okay," he replied which made her scrunch her face up in confusion wondering what he was talking about.
"For what?" She asks.
"For our uh d-date tonight. You didn't forget did you?"
Both Derek and Frankie snickered as they saw Samantha's hand on her head in disbelief. "Crap. Yeah six is fine. Sorry Jake a lot of things were going on today."
"It's no problem. I'll see you in a little Sammy." The two said their goodbyes and soon hanged up on each other making Samantha check the time on her phone wondering how long does she have to get ready. It was about to be four in the afternoon so it gave Samantha about two hours to take a shower as well as do her hair and pick her clothes out and any other necessities she needs to do.
"Well let's get you ready," said both Frankie and Derek who had gotten them self off of her bed and head towards her closet.

Once she was done with her shower as well as her hair, that she curled, she walked over to her bed to see the outfit that Derek and Frankie picked out for her. Their laid on her bed a mint green crop tee with an under white crop top that they paired with some studded high waisted shorts as well as a pair of her black combat boots.
"Wow," she commented as she saw what they had chosen for her to wear.
"I know, we got great taste in fashion," Frankie said as he leaned against her her doorframe.
"Well thank god the weather today decided to be warm or else I would freeze my ass off wearing this," she said making them chuckle.
"Will let you get ready," Derek spoke which caused the two to leave her alone to get herself dressed.
As she was putting her clothes on, she walked to where her jewelry box was at which was on her dresser. She opened it revealing a picture she had put of her family. She smiled at to herself as she saw both her and her brother fetus self. Going back to what she getting, she grabbed her heart pendant necklace that her father had given her but she never wore it as she remembered it was too big on her back then.
Giving the picture one last glance, she shut the box and grabbed herself a sweater from her closet then headed downstairs once she heard the doorbell ring.

Samantha narrowed her eyes wondering who were the guys surrounding seeing as how they were all in a circle.
"No touching."
"No kissing."
"No sex."
She scoffed then pushed Dylan and Tyler aside to let her in the circle. Samantha saw Jacob awkwardly glancing at everyone until his eyes met her which sent a sigh of relief to him. She walked over to him and grabbed his hand.
"You look-"
"What did I say?" Frankie warned him.
She shook her head,"Ignore him or them." Jacob smiled at her when she saw her glare daggers at Frankie who stuck his tongue out.
"No smiling either," Derek added.
Samantha rolled her eyes,"Anything else Dad?"
"Ignore them Sammy. You two go have fun."
"But not too much fun," Frankie added to Dylan's sentence.
"I expect her to be back by ten on the dot," Dylan informed Jacob who nodded his head.
"Will do." With that, the two had walked out of the house without hesitation.
"Thank god," Jacob breathed out.
She laughed at him,"Come on Black they can't be that bad."
"How do you stand them?" He asks as he opened the door to the passenger seat letting Samantha in. She simply shrugged her shoulders not really having an answer for that. Soon enough he came in and started the ignition and took off to where he knew Samantha hasn't been to for awhile.

As she was about to rest her eyes seeing as how she has been in the car for about half an hour or maybe an hour, her eyes had widen as she saw where they were at.
"You didn't," she said to Jacob who was trying his best to not smile at the reaction he had given her.
"I did," he replied as he saw that he was in the right place. He had brought her to the fair which was something he remembered she always loved going to.
Once they found parking they both had gotten out of the car however Samantha ran to where Jacob was at and jumped on him. Her legs were around his waist while her arms were on his neck. As for Jacob he simply laughed at her sudden excitement but nonetheless he wrapped his arms around her waist.
After Samantha had gotten herself off of Jacob, he intertwined their hands and began to walk to the entrance "Come on beautiful."

"Eat this Black!" Samantha slammed her foot down on the gas of the bumper car and drove to where Jacob was at but he moved his bumper car out of the way which caused her to hit the wall.
"Oops," Jacob smirked as he heard Samantha groan loudly in frustration.
"You wanna know what-" She reversed then turned her car around and was about to slam into him but the bell rang which signified that the ride was over.
"Maybe next time." Samantha playfully glared at him which caused him to wrap his arm around her shoulder and lead her to where the stand that were filled with nothing but games.
Samantha's eyes widened then she soon started pulling Jacob by his hand leading them to where she saw the jump teddy bear hanging on of the stands. "Jake, Jake, Jake," she called him multiple times.
"What?" He asked laughing as he saw her inner kid come out.
She pointed to where the jumbo teddy bear was at,"Do you see that bear? That big bear right there. The one that's calling for me to get it."
He shook his head grinning at how adorable she was. He walked over to the stand. "How much?" He asks the man that was behind the stand who was drinking a coke.
"Five dollars young man."
Jacob reached in his pocket and gave the man a five dollar bill. "I'm assuming you want the big bear. All you have to do is knock down that space ship," he pointed to the little space ship that was way in the back.
"Can't be that hard," Jake said but soon gaped when the man pressed a button and all sorts of space ships popped up and started to move around like crazy.
The man handed Jacob three balls. "Good luck."

Jacob placed another five dollar bill on the stand which the man gladly took. Samantha sighed and placed her hand on Jacob's shoulder. "Jake, it's okay. You've already wasted twenty dollars on the game."
He shook his head,"No, I have to win it for you."
She simply smiled to him then wrapped her arm around his,"Don't think about it too much. Think about something else."
"Like what?" He asked as he grabbed another ball.
"Think about me, naked," she whispered in his ear then bite down on his earlobe when the man wasn't looking.
Taken her by surprise, that must of given him a boost of confidence since he ended up throwing one of the balls at the target and had managed to knock down the space ship. The man handed the jumbo bear to Jacob.
With a smile on his face, he walked to where Samantha was siting at and handed her the bear. She grabbed it from him and placed it slowly on the bench she was siting on then planted a small kiss on his cheek.
She wrapped her arms around his waist,"You're the best Jake."

Once they had dropped off the bear at the car, they were in line to go on the fairs wheel. The couple before Jacob and Samantha had gotten out making the two go in and sit down. The lady closed the small door shut and pressed a button which caused the shuttle they were in to move. Samantha's eyes gazed in awe as she saw the lights that were all over the theme park.
"It's so beautiful," she breathed out causing Jacob to glance at her and smile as he saw her eyes show admiration in them.
"I've seen better," he said making her glance back at him.
She rested her head on his shoulder then looked up and saw him leaning closer to her. She felt his hand caress her cheek softly which sent shivers down her spine as she felt the familiar shocks at his delicate touch. Soon enough she found herself leaning into him.
As their lips were a few centimeters apart, sadly the fairs wheel had came to a stop which caused the two to separate from one another.

A yawn escaped from Samantha but she shook her head as tried her best to stay awake. "Tired?" Jacob asked as he stopped walking and looked over at Samantha.
She shook her head but another yawn had escaped her. He chuckled and took out his phone from his pocket,"Crap, it's about to be ten."
She laughed,"Jake it's okay."
"I promised Dylan that I would have you home by ten," he stated.
She grabbed his hand,"Hey, calm down. Dylan won't make a fuss about it. Trust me."
He squeezed her hand,"I just don't want to send them a bad reputation."
She gave a peck to his cheek,"If it worries you, we can head back right now."
"But I don't want you to have a bad night because of me."
She couldn't help but smile at how much he cared. "Jake, I won't have a bad night. I promise I doubt anything could make this night go bad."
He sighed,"I promise I'll make this up to you."
"Jake I'm fine I promise," she chuckled.
Before he could say anything, she yawned which made him look at her. "Come on." She felt one his arm on the back of my leg and his other arm around my waist.
"Jake," She began but was cut off when he planted a kiss on top of her head.
"Don't worry, I don't want you to walk on your own while you're half asleep."
She smiled at him then leaned her head against his chest,"You're amazing."

As the words escaped her lips he couldn't help but smile. He began to walk towards the parking lot where his car was parked at. Once he got to his car, he glanced at Samantha who was fast asleep in his arms. He reached into his right front pocket and pulled out his keys then opened the passenger side and sat Samantha down as well as buckle her up. Soon enough, he got in the driver side and started the car.
While he was driving back to Samantha's house, he heard her phone ring which had him debating whether or not he should check who it is or just leave it. Going with his first option, he grabbed her phone and saw that Frankie, Dylan as well Derek had texted her.
From Frankie:
Don't forget to tell Jacob to wear protection *wink*wink*
From Dylan:
Where are you at young lady?
From Derek:
Code red eyes. Make sure you keep an eye out on your surroundings. Be safe
Derek's texts had Jacob curious as to what code red eyes meant as well as to why she would need to keep an eye out on where she was at. Shaking his head, he placed her phone on one of the cup holders that was empty and focused his eyes on the road even though he wanted so badly to wake up Samantha and tell her what Derek's texts mean.

Once he parked his car and got Samantha out, he made his way to her house. The door flew open once he stepped a foot on her porch and out came Dylan whose eyes softened at the sight of Samantha.
"I know I should be mad at you for being late but you brought her back safely. You should be happy that the rest of the guys aren't here," he said which made Jacob chuckle. "You already know where her room is at?"
All he did was nod his head then headed up the stairs and walk to where Samantha's room was at. He tightly held a grip on Samantha as he tried to open her bedroom door without having to drop her. Once he managed to open it, he laid Samantha down on her bed and took off her boots and tossed them in her room somewhere. He scanned over Samantha's outfit and saw that she had an uncomfortable look on her face even though she was asleep. Jacob glanced at Samantha then at her door.
"I got it from here," said someone which caused Jacob to turn around to see a woman with bright fiery red/orange hair leaning against Samantha's doorframe.
"Don't worry she's in good hands," the woman said nicely as she tried her best to hide the smirk behind her smile.
"Oh, okay. Well I better get going," Jacob said quickly as he took one last look at Samantha then walked out of her bedroom door and headed outside to his car.
As for the woman, she looked over at Samantha and the smirk she once hid had now surfaced. She walked over to the right side of Samantha's bed and sat down right next to her. Her hands began to shake Samantha's shoulders causing her to wake up.
"Who the hell is waking me up?" Samantha sat up and rubbed her eyes then opened them and almost screamed at who was right in front of her.
"Victoria?"

So this is kind of a filler chapter then kind of not. Sorry if their are any errors in the chapter! Honestly, I don't understand why ppl don't like Victoria like she was one of my favorites in Eclipse.
