Hello! Just a quick note before you proceed to the chapter:
I know I’m not setting targets anymore but I would really love it when you guys comment. Just a simple smiley face would even do if you want. I notice that barely anyone comments and votes anymore just because I don’t set out targets. So does that mean you guys are all forced to comment and vote on Where I Belong? I didn’t want to force you all to do what you don’t want to do so I’m truly sorry for forcing you guys in Where I Belong to comment and vote. But 14 comments on the last chapter when there are hundreds of you guys out there? Hmmmmm

Emerald’s POV
“Hello!” I squeal, waving my right hand in front of me frantically. The three of them laugh at my excitement. “We miss you so much!” They chorus all together as I begin tearing up from all the feelings I am expressing. Eleanor pouts and tells me to be a big strong girl for them and to always look out for the boys.
“I will. But I have an emergency.” I bit my bottom lip as I look around the room for anyone who might be eavesdropping but thankfully, there is no one in here but me and my laptop. The boys are still on stage doing their job as the biggest pop stars in their concert which I am now missing but I have to get advice from the love experts themselves while I have my alone time. Maya must be wandering around, looking for me so I must be quick to avoid getting caught.
“What is it Emerald?” Danielle asks. Before they could assume that something is wrong with me, I start babbling my little mouth off. Technically I am breaking my promise to Maya but I know very well that I can’t do this alone.
“Well it’s about Harry…” I trail, their eyes showing encouragement for me to continue. “And Maya…” They squeal but I stop them “And Niall.” I sigh.
“Wait what?” They wear similar expressions as they gape at me. “Harry likes Maya, Maya likes Niall and Niall likes….no one I’m guessing.” I say too quickly, hoping that they caught what I said as I don’t have the heart and energy to repeat that.
“Oh my, this is bad.” Eleanor whines. “Poor Harry.” Danielle sighs while Perrie has a thoughtful look plastered on her pretty face.
“Are you sure Niall doesn’t like anyone?” Perrie asks. I nod surely. But I could be wrong as well as I am not the most observant person in the world.
“Unless he still likes…no wait never mind.” Danielle dismisses her idea but we quickly persuade her to tell us. “Well what if he still likes…you know who.” Danielle whispers the last part as if she was afraid I was going to get angry.
“Natalie?” I squeak. Danielle nods slowly, Eleanor and Perrie looking at her with thoughtful looks and I just stared at her confusingly. “Why do you think that?” I question Danielle.
“I’m sure both Eleanor and Perrie knows what I’m talking about when I say that Niall might still like her, Emerald. Remember when she visited Niall last month?” It was her turn to ask me. In response, I shook my head no. I know nothing of Natalie visiting any of us after the incident with her mother.
“Well they talked and if you haven’t noticed, Niall changed after that. He smiles more, on his phone all the time and he brightens up a lot.” Perrie smiles. “Could it be?” I gasp.
“It is a possibility that they are talking. Don’t get mad at Niall though.” Eleanor adds. “I’m not mad at all. If Niall likes her after all what she has done then she must have changed. For the better I hope.” I explain further more my feelings about this and by the end, I’m actually quite happy that Niall might have finally found his queen. Of course she was a villain at first in this messed up fairytale but I believe there is good inside of everyone.
“Enough about Niall, what about Harry and Maya?” I tell them all I know from what the two are feeling from what I think about this situation. “My plan is to get Maya to fall for Harry instead of Niall. It’s going to hurt her a lot if Niall does like Natalie.” I say. “But I don’t know how.” My shoulders slump by this fact.
“Leave it to us.” Eleanor grins. I’m about to respond but the door swings open and in came one sweaty boy who looks very relieve once his eyes find me sitting crossed leg at the far corner of the room.
“We’ve been looking around for you for ten minutes now!” Niall exclaims. “Sorry Niall.” I look over at the girls and back to Niall who is still panting. “Say hi Niall!” I turn my laptop over so the screen is facing him. “Hello!” He laughs looking himself over and realizing that he is a sweating mess.
Realizing that I am not moving from this spot and that the boys would probably like to see their girlfriend’s faces even just for a minute, Niall heads out saying “I’ll get them.”
I look over to the girls to see anticipation written all over their faces, they are whispering among themselves, bursting with happiness. Not even a minute after Niall went to get the other boys, they came in, and pushing among themselves like rowdy school boys who just heard that school is cancelled for a week.
“I’ll let you three talk to them.” I say as I stood up from my spot. “You don’t have to.” Liam protests but it was unmistakable in his eyes that he wants alone time with Danielle. Well close too alone time. I push Niall and Harry with me on the way out and close the door carefully.
“There you are Emerald!” Maya shrills as she approaches us. Niall wears a small smile while looking at her stumble her way to us while Harry grins widely, even fixing up his shirt which he disguise as just casually patting away the dust.
“Sorry I was chatting with Danielle, Eleanor and Perrie.” I say ever so sheepishly. “Next time tell me okay?” She huffs but smiles politely at both boys who gave two different reactions. Niall, being the oblivious person he is, nods and smiles back faintly whereas Harry blushes a deep scarlet and grins, eyeing the ground while doing so. I shake my head slightly at the both of them, a small frown dance upon my lips. “Um well I suggest you guys change.” Maya says, pointing towards the dressing room.
“See you guys later!” Niall chirps and heads first while Harry mutters something incoherent and scurries along. “Weird.” Maya mutters. I laugh awkwardly and stare at her who is now the one who is smiling at the ground. “Did you see how he smiled at me?” She finally looks at me. “No. He gives that to everyone.” I try so hard not to stumble upon my words. I might have sounded mean for a second but if the other three girls’ theory is correct, then Maya would be crushed.
I don’t want her crying and it’s just not her who would be broken. Once the truth comes out, Harry would be affected as well. He would be crushed knowing that Maya liked someone else and not him.

“Tell me the truth. Now.” It all started when Niall and I were left alone in the bus and I took this opportunity to confront him about Natalie. I didn’t hate the idea of him being with her, they would actually be quite a handsome couple if you think about it.
I’ve been nagging him about this for the past hour now and I know there is something in there because the way he blushes whenever I say her name is something or that when I try to press the idea again, he would look away shyly, only a person who likes someone would do such things.
“Niall, you do know I’m completely fine with it right?” I say softly and genuinely. He sighs and looks at me with pained eyes.
“You don’t understand Emerald. I can’t love someone who hurt my princess. Who hurt you. It’s just so wrong but it feels completely right whenever I talk to her.” The truth finally comes out. “She did it out of love Niall.” I confront him, remembering what Natalie told me that day she apologized.
“You are right, I still love her.”
Author’s Note
If you guys didn’t see my message board then I basically said that because of school and how it is getting harder for me to have free time, I will probably update in the weekends only. I am so sorry for this.
Okay so the Natalie theory hmmm do you think its true? And guys remember that chapter where Natalie apologized to Niall? Yeah Natalie is nice okay. She just loves him too much so no hating on her.
